Loved the romantic build up in this book and the perfectly constructed grumpy-sunshine vibes. A little bit of a slow starter for me, but once the two main characters started interacting, I was hooked!

It was such a good book, it gave me all the 2000s romcom vibes and i loved from beginning to end. The characters are good and really keep the story moving

Poppy loves romance and has a job that fits that love entirely as a matchmaker for one of the most elite agencies. While she is usually highly successful at her job, Tristian Fellows challenges her as he does not intend to fall in love and is only looking for marriage to secure his inheritance.
I loved the premise of this book and the idea of a matchmaking agency, but for me, the characters fell completely flat, and I had a hard time connecting with any of them.

What a fabulous feel-good read. Predictable? Who cares. I loved the main characters, made me laugh out loud and also a tear of n my eye.
It’s a five star recommendation from me

I love a good marriage of convenience trope, but this one just fell flat for me. I was hoping for me out of this one, but the pacing and plot just wasn’t what I had hoped for.

Fantastic read by Sandy Barker. I loved the will they, won't they tension throughout the novel - with very high stakes, natch. The comedic relief in the form of supporting characters (potential matches) was wonderfully over the top. Found myself laughing out loud at several points. If you're a fan of feel good romance, you'll love this!

Thank you to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for providing me with an ARC.

I did enjoy this and it was an easy enough read. Poppy works for an exclusive matchmaking agency and is tasked with finding Tristan a bride - he needs to get married ASAP in order to secure his inheritance. However, despite her best efforts not to, Poppy starts to fall for her client.

Very much enjoyed the premise of this, even though I knew where it would go. I think what’s stopping me rating it higher is just that they went from lukewarm romantic feelings to throwing caution to the wind almost with not much development. I did still find their admissions of love in the end very cute though. And it was nice to read about more mature characters!

What to expect:

- enemies to lovers
- forced proximity
- forbidden romance
- marriage of convenience
- closed door

This book contains all my favorite tropes! From grumpy sunshine to enemies to lovers. The character connection between Poppy and Tristan is just so good. They are the perfect match! The closed door romance was also something to die for. I loved the banter between Poppy and Tristan and I loved how they had good friends as well. Overall, an amazing read!!!

This book had me laughing out loud and smiling unexpectedly. It was absolutely phenomenal. I think this was the perfect start to a new series. I can't wait to read the next book in the series! And the chemistry between Poppy and Tristan, and their banter back and forth was superb. 5 out of 5 read!

This was a simple, fun, easy and quick read. The perfect type of book for your holiday, beach, pool kind of read. This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and I would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you very much to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

I have never read a book with this premise before but I was instantly hooked. Poppy works for a secret, discreet matchmaking agency and gets handed a case for “Mr Impossible.” Tristan needs to find a wife but time is ticking as a large inheritance is on the line. This puts up a challenge for Poppy as she needs to find someone perfect for Tristan but little does she know that she might be the one who holds all the answers.
This book has all the best tropes:
- grumpy x sunshine
- Enemies to lovers (ish)
- Marriage or convenience
- Forced proximity!
Can’t wait to read the next book in this series!!

This is the first installment of the Ever After Agency series and also my first time reading something by this author. It was a cute and fun story and I had a great time reading it. Poppy's job is to find Mr. Right for pretty much all of London. She's very skilled at her job except, for some reason, she's having a hard time putting her matckmaking skills to use for herself and finding her own Mr. Right. When Tristan walks into her office looking for a wife, he proves to be her hardest client yet. A bonafide bachelor, with no interest in love, he is only looking to marry so he can claim his inheritance. Sparks fly from the very start with this grumpy/sunshine pair as they set out to find the perfect bride. The book had me laughing along with the witty banter between them, and the tension developing between them was undeniable. Tristan didn't want to marry for love, but it's quite possible he could be the Mr. Right Poppy has been looking for all this time.
Such a fun story! The writing was well done and I enjoyed getting to know the characters and following them on their journey. Glad to have had the opportunity to read it!
I received a complimentary copy from Netgalley and am voluntarily leaving my review.

The story of the matching agency was a fresh breath in the romance panorama, as it showed how technology and human intuition can work together to find the perfect match for someone.

The main characters, Poppy and Tristan, had a lot of chemistry, but they also faced some challenges and misunderstandings along the way. Their best friends, Ravi and Jacinda, were also very sweet and supportive, and I loved their own romance story.

The book has a lot of diverse and interesting characters, each with their own backstory and personality. I liked how the author explored different aspects of love, such as friendship, attraction, compatibility, and commitment.

However, I was disappointed by the portrayal of the Italian contessa, who was a sort of villain in the first part of the book. She was very stereotypical and unrealistic, and her dialogue was full of wrong sentences in Italian. As an Italian reader, I found this very annoying and disrespectful, and it made me give less stars to the book.

My favourite characters were Jacinda and Saskia, the former for her good heart and the latter for her strength. They were both strong and independent women. They were very inspiring and relatable, and I admired them.

My favourite part of the story was the trip to Edinburgh, the city where I am living. I liked how the author described the beauty and the charm of the city, and how she incorporated some of its culture into the plot.

I learned from this book that love can overcome any obstacles, and that sometimes the best match for someone is not the one they expect, but the one they need.
The book is a mix of some tropes good to pass a day or two, but it also has some original and surprising twists.

You know I love a London boy.

Not bad but not good, is the overall vibe of Match Me If You Can. I feel like to be a successful rom-com book both of the main characters have to be somewhat likeable and have chemistry which just wasn't the case here.

The premise was good though. Tristan needs to marry to get his inheritance and Poppy is the matchmaker assigned to his case. Think Terms and Conditions but with a matchmaker. And that's about it.

Thank you to Boldwood Books, netgalley for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

An absolutely adorable read! I finished it in just two days!! Even though the direction of the novel is easy to decipher it is so enjoyable reading how the characters of Poppy and Tristen get there.

The premise is simple: Tristen needs to marry in order to inherit the money - a great amount of money - left by his grandfather. Enters Poppy who works as an agent for a matchmaking agency. Tristan swears he is not looking for love. Poppy is determined to find him the perfect match. There are a few wild adventures and very intriguing matches. It is all funny, romantic and brings smiles to the reader’s face.

I absolutely will not give anything away but I must say - the ending is the BEST!!!! I look forward to reading the next book in this series!!!

I just couldn't fully get into this. The voices felt way too young and immature for the characters. The idea was a cool one though.

I loved this first book in the Ever After match making agency.
This was enemies to lovers, Forbidden love, grumpy vs Sunshine, a closed door romance and marriage of convenience all in one, I would never have said I was a fan of marriage of convenience, but this was sweet and has me convinced it is a cute trope afterall.

Poppy was just fabulous. Even Tristan and his grumpiness was just pure perfection.
The will they-won't they had me on the edge of my seat and internally screaming at them to just 'admit things'!

This is my first Sandy Barker, but certainly not my last, and I can’t wait for more! The second in the series will be out soon enough 😁

Perfect Rom-Com novel. Loved this story about a matchmaking agency in London. The matchmaker falls in love with the client for whom she is supposed to be finding a “marriage of convenience”. Can't wait for the sequel. Totally relaxing fun read.
