This is a good book. The two main characters are Jennifer and Paul. Jennifer is a divorced mother, a nurse and medical student. Paul runs his family’s companies. They meet when Paul has an accident with a cab that Jennifer was riding in. In this book the main characters have to deal with ex-husband, drug kings, kidnapping, and family dramas. But through it all the main characters fall in love.

i struggled to get through this one, the wording didn't really flow and there just wan't enough chemistry or actual romance for me to get reeled in!

Our Unintended Love: To Choose Between love and Money by Kelly Grear. I will scratch that title and make it a new one.

Our Unintended not love: to choose between many people with little romance. Yeah that fits the book better. I will keep this short because I don't want to waste any more time on this book which is not a romance novel. Most of the book is spent on the main characters being with other people. And I mean that quite literally since at 53% Jeniffer is still dating someone who isn't Paul. Heck the accident that's supposed to serve as their introduction to each other happens around the 55% mark of the book. Paul in the meantime is having a good, detailed time with another woman. A good romance book would have established a meeting or a connection between the main characters way before. Out of the 212 pages of this book, Paul and Jennifer know each other for 92 of them. This isn't a romance book and I don't know what to categorize it as.

I received a copy of this for my honest review.

With this being a shorter story, I knew I would have to immediately get into it and the characters and unfortunately it didn't click for me and this went on my DNF list.

That has been on for seven between my NetGalley account and my Kindle account where net galley hasn’t sent the document over to my kindle, and unfortunately it is now over the threshold where I can re-download this document so unfortunately I cannot read this book, so I cannot give this book a review, but I was looking forward to it a lot and the bibliography did pull me in so I might read this in future

This is definitely a slow burn and I feel like I need more of the romance aspect or something. It has good parts for sure, but I feel like something is missing. #Netgalley

I’d give it three stars.

A big thank you to NetGalley and BooksGoSocial for the eARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. Okay, I have to admit, that my mood totally affects how I feel about a book. For me, this was a convoluted mess. I liked Paul and Jennifer but not his dad or her ex...they seemed horrible. I did finish the book but it was a bit of a struggle. Maybe if I reread it in 6 months I will love it. For me it was 3 stars.

Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. I truly loved the actual storyline but the writing itself- left a lot to be desired. The wording was very prim and proper which sometimes made it seem unreal. Towards the end , it didn’t make sense in some places. The side stories left me feeling like 1- it could have been explored a lot more and 2- it had no leas in, just popped up out of nowhere and left just as quickly.

"Our Unintended Love" by Kelly Grear appears to be a compelling contemporary romance novel that weaves together elements of family, fortune, and unexpected connections.

The story introduces us to two seemingly different characters, Paul Atkins and Jennifer Ridley, who come from contrasting worlds. Paul is an heir to a family fortune, living a life dictated by money and power, while Jennifer is a hardworking single mom striving to provide for her daughter. Their paths cross in an unexpected way when Paul, facing tragedy, finds himself under Jennifer's care in the hospital.

The setup promises an intriguing exploration of how these two characters, who couldn't be more different on the surface, will connect and potentially find love amid the challenges that life throws at them. The themes of betrayal, sabotage, and greed add layers of complexity to the narrative, suggesting that the story will be filled with twists and turns that keep readers engaged.

The central question of whether Paul and Jennifer will give in to their desires or succumb to external pressures adds an element of suspense and anticipation. It's a classic trope in romance literature to see characters from different worlds finding common ground and love, and "Our Unintended Love" seems poised to deliver on this front.

Readers who enjoy romance novels with strong character development, unexpected twists, and a blend of heartwarming moments and challenges are likely to find this book an enjoyable read. It appears to be a story that explores the resilience of the human spirit and the power of love to transcend social and economic boundaries.

I liked this book but it lacked any originality. I feel like I've read it before. It had good and steamy parts to it.

I throughly loved reading the captivating and engaging story. When Paul Atkins accidentally hits a taxi, he rushes the woman to the hospital,, learns her name is Jennifer, a nurse, checks on her the next day, and invites her to an apology lunch. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written, and a riveting must read love story.

This book had problems. It felt like a first draft. I liked the characters a lot and really knew who they were. But I had problems with some of the decisions. I didn't like that the main characters didn't meet until the halfway point of the book. To me it would have worked better if the first half of the book was part of the main characters getting to know each other. Which leads me to the romance. I wasn't feeling the love. I didn't get how they were in love. It's like I missed something. The left me unfulfilled with the unanswered questions and the rushed ending.

This one was weird. The language was flowing OK in the beginning but later on it was as if it had been put together by an AI bot - strange syntax and order of paragraphs, mixed up names in the same or following sentences, stifled romantic’ scenes and dialogue.
It’s an interesting idea for a story, and could probably be made really strong with the right editor / rewriting.
I did finish it, just.

Buenass

This book was so good. It has a little bit of everything, beautiful romance, spice, tension, suspence, mystery, you name it.

This book starts out spicy. But then has a nice build of tension and romance after that. The main story line is interesting as well. It has a mystery to be solved and some suspenseful scenes as well. It does have a little violence. To me, this book was the perfect dessert, a little sweet and a little salty.
