Three sisters, who have grown apart, gather together to celebrate the youngest sister’s wedding. What makes this book a 5 star read is the realness of the story. Life isn’t always sunshine and roses, but often has a way of working itself out as Claire, Amy, and Hallie discover in the days approaching Hallie’s wedding. It’s not your typical easy, breezy romance and is a refreshing change of pace. Claire struggles with a pessimistic view of love and marriage. Amy struggles with a heartbreak she has never really recovered from. Hallie struggles with making her vision of what her life should be like perfect. As the wedding gets closer, perfect seems to be nonexistent. Looks can definitely be deceiving and secrets come to the surface. The sisters think they have each other figured out, when really they don’t. They find that their love for each other grows stronger by the experiences they have had and continue to share. They find that relationships may not be perfect or guaranteed, but are totally worth it. The characters seem to pop off the page and you can’t help but identify with each of them personally. This book gives you all the feels!
