Kyle is so looking forward to his birthday, that he is counting down the sleeps. His friend Charlie is equally excited at the prospect of dinosaur cookies for Kyle's birthday, and is sharing in the countdown.

But when Charlie tells Kyle about the birthday fairy, Kyle becomes determined to ensure that the fairy visits him the night before his birthday, too.

The only problem is, Kyle does not have a magic bracelet like Charlie's sister, to summon the fairy. What will he do? Who can help him? Because there's no time left to make a magic bracelet!

This is a cute story that accurately captures the excitement of a young child as his birthday approaches. The illustrations complement the story very well and we are all able to join in Kyle's joy when a solution is found and the birthday finally materialises, with a visit from the fairy too... I give it 3.5 stars!

It is always fun to add new traditions to birthday happiness. I absolutely love the illustrations and the patience of Mom :::wink::: Full of gorgeous full color pictures, this book tells the story of little Kyle who is soooooooo excited about his upcoming birthday! Upon learning about the birthday fairy, Kyle and his mom have to improvise to ensure that she visits. The real hero of this story is Kyle’s mom (and dad).
