I love Keri Beevis as a an author and could not wait to get started on Trust No One.

We meet main character Olivia who is an estate agent and she has a new love interest who happens to be an ex-cop - this comes in super handy as Olivia's life is about to go about wild.

She attends a house viewing, only to find a man bound and on fire. We are then taken along as we learn about what happened in Olivia's past and the secret that is being possessed. We are also introduced to other characters, people from Olivia's past school days and we learn the secret that they all behold.

This for me was a slow-burner, normally I get into Keri Beevis' novels straight away but this took some time.

A really good premise of a book that is quite shocking at points.

Thanks to the publishers, author and netgalley for allowing me a copy of this novel in exchange for my review.

When I first found the note, I assumed it was a prank. But then I'm lured to a house where I witnessed a gruesome murder, and I realise that the threat is real. But who is tormenting me though, and why? Noah Keen, my boyfriend, is determined to get to the bottom of things, and soon other familiar faces appear from my past. Ones who are connected to a tragic accident that happened when we were teenagers. They too have received similar notes. Someone knows the truth about what really happened in Norfolk. someone believes we were responsible and they will not stop until everyone of us has been punished.

I was pulled in from the prologue. It's descriptively written, tense and you'll question everything and everyone. The pace is fast and there's many twists and red herrings. The characters are well developed, but you'll either love or hate them. The story is told from multiple perspectives. The ending is dramatic and the epilogue finishes this book perfectly.

I would like to thank #NetGalley #BoldwoodBooks and the author #KeriBeevis for my ARC of #TrustNoOne in exchange for an honest review.

But Oliva. does not know what she has done, and all her ex-school friends are being targeted. its Brilliant so addictive from the author queen of creepy as the book says Trust no one in this story.

Another good one by Keri Beevis!

Keri has a way of making every book complex yet easy to understand and read. There is a lot of information given but in snippets until it leads up to the twist. Her work is genius!

This was a great read. I found myself devouring it and unable to put it down at night. I loved Olivia and Noah and their relationship. (Another thing I love is that Keri always sneaks romance in). The book jumped from past and present in spots as well as different perspectives but it was easy to follow. The revenge because of something people did when they were young trope has been done, but the story was super unique and Keri does it in a way that makes it feel like she invented it!

What an interesting & thrilling read! Definitely recommend!

Thank you to #Netgalley, #Boldwood Books and Keri Beevis for the opportunity to read an advance copy of TRUST NO ONE, to be published 24 September 2023. 5/5 stars for this psychological thriller based in the UK. Olivia really has her work cut out for her as she stumbles onto a new relationship. She works at a real estate firm and although she’s not particularly happy with that, she bears the brunt of it as she separates from her boyfriend of 11 years and takes in a lodger to help pay the rent. Her world goes from bad to worse and her life is being threatened but she doesn’t know why. Keri Beevis fans should consider this a must read! Highly recommended. #NetGalley #BoldwoodBooks #KeriBeevis #TrustNoOne

It’s amazing how fast a book can go from a slow burn to crazy! It started a bit slow for me but then picked up and didn’t stop until the end. I love Keri Beevis writing style and can’t wait to read more. Thank you so much for the opportunity to read this book!

Another @keri.beevis backlist book that @bookandttonic is republishing with a brand new cover! Trust No One is a psychological thriller that follows Olivia who is receiving threatening notes. Of course she has a traumatic past and secrets that she is trying to keep hidden. Her boyfriend, Noah, launches his own investigation into the notes and does everything in his power to keep Olivia safe. However, as Olivia and Noah look into the notes, the question arises, is there anyone you can really trust?!

This book is classic to Beevis’ style with multiple POV, a fast pace, numerous twists, and a surprising ending! Add this one to your TBR if you have not already read it!

Thank you Boldwood Books and @netgalley for allowing me to read this book ahead of publication in exchange for my honest review!

Trust No One finds a tormented Olivia being punished for deeds of which she has no knowledge.
Lured to an empty house she witnesses a man burned alive.
She has no idea what is going on but she has to figure it out and fast.

I figured the end out faster than I would have liked and the plot could have used more complexity.

That said, this is still a good read.

I would highly recommend to family and friends. I love author’s that can describe a scene and you are immediately there, you close your eyes and you picture the scene. This author does that for me.

Big almighty shivers running down your spine.
What happens when you play with fire?
Trust no one, Move to the countryside to a remote location, with less people and trouble goes away, but it's not all it cracked up to be.
Olivia Blake estate agent worker for Dandridge and son, finds a note on her car, it wasn't a joke, it was a threat. Home in Salhouse village Norfolk Broads, then her phone rings thinking it's her mum, a low whisper,
a long long time ago you did a bad thing, everyone's past catches up with them eventually including yours soon.
It has spooked her, a unfunny prank and surreal stuff follows and she's not the only one getting these messages, someone is watching, someone wants them to suffer and pay, someone is out to kill, this is someone from a long long time ago, Trust No One.

Oh Boy Oh Boy what a read, fast pace action, I never could keep up with the suspects as so many are hit and only from this one person the book just keeps you guessing and guessing all the way through. Wow absolutely fantastic, that is unputdownable.

This was such an awesome story! Olivia suffered a tragic event years ago as a teenager on a school trip and now someone is sending her threatening notes. She’s not the only one, as others who were on the same trip have been sent similar threats. But she was one of the victims so why is someone blaming her? She tries to blow it off but can’t help becoming more and more frightened when it escalates from notes to possible prowlers outside of her house, and then inside her house. Luckily, her boyfriend Noah is an ex-cop and he launches his own investigation into these threats while simultaneously trying to keep Olivia safe. But he has his own secrets and Olivia soon wonders if there’s anyone she can truly trust.

I enjoyed the multiple perspectives because it lets the reader see more than Olivia’s point of view and gives us clues as to who might be next. The old schoolmates initially react the same as Olivia, in clear denial that they deserve this. But when you see the flashbacks from their school trip, you realize why someone could be plotting revenge against them. Olivia’s the only likable character of the group so you sort of want to see the others suffer, but man, are there some gruesome acts of revenge! You will never want to hear “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” ever again! You’ll find yourself suspecting everyone and the ending is so devious and satisfying. Such a brilliant thriller, it’s definitely my favorite book by this author!

I read this in one sitting, literally didn’t put it down. Excellent story and I’d highly recommend it!

Years ago something bad happened, a tragic accident that caused a young girl to lose her life. But was it an accident after all? When the people involved start receiving threatening notes it’s clear that someone is out for revenge!

Olivia is right at the centre of the story and she needs to work out who’s doing this, before it’s too late and everyone ends up dead!
