I honestly think the world needs more books like this. It was beautifully told in a way that is accessible to people and is easy to identify with when you are struggling yourself.

“I have gained strength from every time you honored your mistakes.”
Yikes. That got real, real quick.
Bedtime for Nightmares is a short picture book that deals with a lot of deep issues, but the main message seems to be about accepting your mental health issues and striving to work through and with them to become healthier and happier. The pictures did a great job of illustrating mental illnesses as monsters. Definitely a darker read, but a hopeful ending.
