This is a sweet romance, and the banter and relationship with the main characters is lovely. I really enjoy a slow burn, and this definitely scratched that itch, this is not one for those who like to jump in at the romance deep end.

I did enjoy some aspects of the workplace setting, but I do struggle with office romances in general, so perhaps that's why I didn't engage with this more.

3 stars overall, but will be checking out more from this author.

Quite a cute YA romance. It took me a while to finish because I had other books I felt more gripped by but enjoyable either way. Maybe because I am in my 30s haha

A workplace romance in their early 20s with lots of back and forth about how they felt.

Thanks for the review copy.

Well this is definitely a cute YA! But I don’t think I was the right target audience as it took me like over a month to read through. 🙊 if you love a younger YA romance looking at delving into a first time adult romance this might suit you well! But for me it was too immature which is my bad personally. You just never know what might suit you though! Thank you NetGalley and Penguins Random House for this ARC!

This book took me ages to finish I was going to give up but it’s rare that I dnf a book! So I ploughed on even if it did take months!

I was looking forward to reading this as the blurb sounded like it was right up my street but it was a let down unfortunately and could have been a lot shorter.
The conflict and chemistry between Lloyd and anna felt somewhat forced there wasn’t any good tension and Anna is annoying and rude!

Thanks to netgalley for an advanced copy.

Sincerely Yours, Anna Sherwood is a YA romance novel centering around Anna who is spending the summer working a prestigious internship in London and Lloyd who is the CEO's son. The two share a kiss the weekend before the internship starts after meeting at a club with no knowledge of who the other is so the book follows how this navigate this relationship in the office as both aim to maintain a professional reputation.

I really enjoyed the friendships in this book and how the author explores making friends as an adult. In general I thought the side characters were really well developed and I particularly enjoyed seeing their true personalities and how they compare to Anna's initial first impressions of them. Surprisingly, I found the office setting very interesting and I thought it was fun seeing how the business works and the interactions between all the staff.

Unfortunately the element of the book which fell slightly flat for me was the actual romance. This was mostly due to the fact that I disliked Anna as a a character and at times found her quite insufferable. She seemed to put herself on a pedestal and her attitude throughout the entire book is that she worked extremely hard to get where she is and she seems to think that everybody else has had it handed to them on a plate. She maintains this attitude the entire way through and it was infuriating. For me there was no chemistry between her and Lloyd and I couldn't see why Lloyd kept going back to her when she spent the majority of their conversations insulting him and his family.

The book has a few chapters which are written as email drafts from Anna to Lloyd through her WORK email which is just a recipe for disaster. Surely she could have used an actual journal or even her phone's notes app to write cringy love notes rather than the email for her job which she constantly reminds us she worked hard to get and wouldn't want anything to ruin. This didn't 'ruin' the book in any way for me but from the moment she wrote the first draft it is very predictable what is going to happen.

Overall I think this book was slightly too YA for my liking and I found the central romance hard to root for so I was reading purely for the moments when we see the other interns.

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie ich dieses Buch bewerten soll, da ich es aufgrund relativ kurzer Ausleihdauer (ohne Verlängerung) nicht lesen konnte.

Thank you for this ARC.

Anna is a university student who has managed to grab herself a place in a prestigious internship. She's put her life and soul into her work and won't let anyone think otherwise. She has done this on her own! However, after meeting a guy while out partying with the new interns, will everyone believe she did this on her own? Does she really need to choose between life, love, fun, and family or being a successful businesswoman?

I really enjoyed this book, its a nice cute read that will have you struggling to put it down. I do wish there was more of how the main characters were in a relationship instead of the constant excuses but I also understand why there was the excuses.

A workplace 'enemies' to lovers with a bit of forced proximity?! Sign me uuuup - this is so fun and will have you cringing in the best way because it's pretty relatable. Easy to read and fairly formulaic, that doesn't stop it being a great romance read.

I loved this book! It was nice to read about a girl with goals and not just a girl who's a fool for love and forgets everything else. I also really liked how the relationship between the main characters evolved and how the side characters fitted into that story. I thought it was a very nice writing style which made the book an easy read. If you like stories with a fierce FMC and a dash of enemies-to-lovers this is your next read!

This novel is so cute and charming!

Annalise Sherwood has practically killed herself to snag a spot on this super fancy internship, and she's not backing down now. Her mantra? Grind now, let loose later. Deciding to hit the town for a wild night before the gig kicks off seems harmless, especially when it leads to the most amazing kiss ever.

Plot twist: the mystery kisser turns out to be Lloyd, the boss's son. Mr. Silver Spoon himself. He's the charming dude who thinks he rules the world, and, of course, he's everyone's favourite golden boy. As fate would have it, they cross paths again, and from that moment on, he's pushing all of Anna's buttons.

As the summer internship rolls on, Lloyd seems to make it his mission to get on Anna's nerves, and she's not one to back down from a challenge. Sparks fly as they trade barbs, but when late-night work sessions throw them together unexpectedly, Anna starts wondering if there's more to their story.

Filled with sass and chemistry and banter, Beth Reekles' latest romance is like a rollercoaster of connection. If you're a fan of Beth O'Leary's The Flatshare or Emily Henry's Beach Read, I think you'll like this. It's a witty, page-turning love story that'll have you hooked from start to finish.

This was such a light and fluffy read. Thank you for then opportunity to read this one. I really enjoyed it.

While not groundbreaking, Sincerely Yours, Anna Sherwood offers a pleasant escape for romance readers seeking a gentle enemies-to-lovers tale. Reekles takes her time developing the central characters and their animosity-to-affection arc. Fans of sweet, gradual love stories will likely enjoy watching the pair's relationship blossom, even if the plot offers few surprises. A light, feel-good read for when you're in the mood for romantic fluff. ★★★✩✩

3.5 ⭐️

I thought this was a pretty cute book. I definitely enjoyed reading it. It's a nice quick, easy read.

I can see why some people could find parts irritating, perhaps hoping there was less back and forth. And better communication between the main characters.

What happens when one of the main characters believes in love at first sight?.. But the other is convinced love is over-hyped. Will they end up coming round to the idea of love at first sight...

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC copy, all opinions are my own.
