A wonderful children’s story that my daughter loved. Fantastic bright illustrations and really bring the story to life.
A captivating children's book that weaves together enchanting storytelling and vibrant illustrations to create an inspiring and heartwarming tale. Centered around Leo, a young lion who embarks on a magical journey of self-discovery and empathy, Jain's narrative imparts essential life lessons in a gentle and engaging manner. Through Leo's experiences with his magic telescope, young readers learn the value of understanding, friendship, and embracing their unique qualities. This beautifully crafted book serves as a valuable tool for parents and educators, opening up meaningful conversations about empathy, self-esteem, and the importance of being oneself. Leo and the Magic Telescope is a delightful adventure that will leave a lasting impression on young hearts, encouraging them to see the world with kindness and understanding.
This is a cute book and not very long. Illustrations are bright and cheerful but a little repetitive. The book is good for teaching kids about kindness and understanding others.
Yay for GOREGOUS full color illustrations to help tell the story of Leo and his quest to make new friends. I love to read books that rhyme, especially out loud and to my little Grandmuffin. This book checks all the boxes – beautiful illustrations, it rhymes, it’s full of sweet little animals AND it has a precious little life lesson within the pages. Tremendous thanks to NetGalley and Anitia Jain for a digital advanced readers copy of Leo and the Magic Telescope in exchange for an honest review.
I really loved this gorgeous, bright and colourful children's book, for children aged 4-8. The story is about a lion called Leo, who is scared when he starts school, and he finds it hard to make friends. He finds a magical telescope which shows him his friends' feelings, such as fears and anxieties, and this helps him to know how he can be kind and caring to them, so that they can become close friends.
The text in the book is told in a rhyming fashion, and it is nicely laid out, so that it is easy for young children to read. The graphics are amazing too. This is a fantastic book, which I highly recommend!
Many thanks to the author, publisher and NetGalley for a copy of this book.
