What a delightful novel. I loved every minute of it. The story was so intriguing and although you could tell they were going to end up together it still made great reading. The characters were individual and had their realistic quirks which made it so life like.
Only one niggle, ‘biting her lip’ that I felt was said too many times.
What a delight!! A new start. A new town. New friends. That's the adventure Molly is hoping for herself and for her two children, Lauren and Ellis, after they have to move from their city home. She has always wanted to open a craft shop and she starts a group called the ‘Knit and Knatter’, which becomes a lifeline for several residents. This story warmed my heart. ❤️
This was the first book I have read by this author and was a story of characters making fresh starts after divorce and broken relationships and of starting again in new ventures and the ups and downs and emotions that they have had to face. It had an element of romance running through it too.
what a lovely lovely book by Sarah Hope. it a heartwarming story and set with some interesting characters.
lovely.
The Bramble Patch Craft Shop - Sarah Hope
This was a new author to me and I found it an overall easy read with a lovely small village vibe. The craft shop aspect was just really enjoyable as I felt like we were taken on the ride with Molly as she opens it up to the public for the first time. Richie's ex wife Diane was an annoying plot twist that I didn't really need or enjoy, but I did enjoy the speed of the relationship between Molly and Richie as we weren't left waiting around for this to happen, their feelings for one another definitely didn't hang around. Thank you very much Netgalley and Boldwood Books for this e-arc in return for my honest thoughts and opinions
This book was great, it felt fresh and not like anything else I've read lately. It kept me intrigued all the way through, I didn't want to put it down.
The story follows Molly Wilson and her children as they start a new life in a quiet English village. Molly tries to immerse herself in village life by hosting Knit and Natter meetups but struggles with feeling alone. She deals with challenges from the local law enforcement and tries to settle her homesick children. A late-night incident with Officer Duffey brings uncertainty about his intentions. The book explores themes of family, love, and starting over, with realistic character development and relatable emotions. It's a sweet romance intertwined with Molly's journey of self-discovery as a single mother. Starting over isn't easy, especially with kids.
A nice cozy and easy read, one of those you can easily devour in a weekend. I loved the location and the characters, will definitely be looking out for more books from this author.

I received an ARC of this book courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher. All opinions expressed in this review are my own and given freely.
I have liked all of the Sarah Hope books that I've written before this one, but this one just didn't sit as well. I think the characters kissed, maybe 3 times so the romance was lacking. Not only this though, but the romance felt VERY rushed with very little character interaction/development to go from liking each other to loving each other. Even just a couple more chapters to add in dates for the characters and show them bonding, even if it was their kids going to the part to play with the dog.
I also felt like they made the female main character way too hard on herself, the reasons for their 'break up' made sense, but also at the same time farfetched. I enjoy the world that Sarah Hope creates for her characters, and I enjoy the story line of a second chance at love in their lives after a failed marriage/relationship, and I also enjoy that these stories are usually very family centered because those aspects are often missing from romance books these days, however even the interactions with the children felt shorter, and less than in previous books that I have read by her.
Thank you, Net Galley, for giving me access to this book in exchange for an honest review.
Another great book by Sarah Hope. I find her books very easy to read, so cosy and heart-warming, books that you cosy up with and enjoy. This one is as I would expect and is entertaining, fun, warm, romantic and just all around good book that will make you smile.
I love the cover, the characters and the overall ease of reading. makes for a good one day read, cuddled up in front of a fire with a hot cocoa. YUM. 3 1/2 stars from me.
Thank you NetGalley and Boldwood Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
This book was not for me, I felt there were too many misunderstandings and people being interrupted mid-conversation. The characters kept going into the kitchen and drank an awful lot of coffee, which to me felt like it was being padded out.
Didn't really enjoy this one, it seemed a bit disjointed. Couldn't connect with any of the characters either.
I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook. I was able to find the audio version through my local library,
I have read a few of this authors books and this one was very cute. Even thought it opens and reads just like her Christmas novel it was still enjoyable. It is a very easy cozy read about a single mom of two who finds her self and starts her own business. I really enjoy her novels because they are not overly dramatic and I actually care about the characters. I highly recommend.
Another great read from Sarah Hope, her books are always well worth reading. This is set in a village in the English countryside. Find out what happens when a new family move in. 5 stars
Thanks to Netgalley, author and publisher for this ARC
This is a new author to me, but the book’s blurb sounded interesting so I wanted to read it, and I am glad I did.
A book filled with likeable, believable and interesting characters found in a lovely setting. I read this book quickly as it held me interest from beginning to end.
A lovely feel-good story showing the experience of starting again, the importance of friends, family & giving yourself the chance of happiness.
A cute story, sweet and well plotted. A story about the power of relationship, about never being really alone.
Lovely characters and setting, it made me smile and moved
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher for this ARC, all opinions are mine
This book is a sweet and easy read. It is perfect for Autumn when the days are getting shorter and colder and you want to relax with a book. It's definitely a feel-good book.
Thank you to Netgalley and Boldwood books for my ARC.
This is a sweet romance where a single mother has to discover herself while juggling the demands of a family and new business. The romance is the background to Molly discovering who she is now as a single mother.
Starting over isn't easy, starting over with kids is even worse.
