This was certainly a breath of fresh air and gave a very realistic social commentary on the world as it is. It has the usual twists and turns but the book is just written in such a real and relatable way that its actually scary! I can't even say the revenge aspect was the heart of the story, more so the social Injustice and attitudes that women are faced with when just trying to keep themselves alive. I found this a really gripping and interesting book

I devoured this book in one sitting the authors style of writing is so well that grips you with the suspense with many twists and turns. I had so many questions whilst reading this book about the world of deepfake etc.

My favourite character was Jo I would wonder what would happen next this book is perfect for thriller fans alike and if you read this book you won’t be disappointed! I would love to see this turned into a tv series. Overall, a fantastic book!

Olderbury is a well heeled town, booming some may say, affluent and proud…..and becoming riddled with drug use
After a nasty incident on a doorstep a terrifically written court case ensues where we see if good will really outdo bad and do even the good want it to be outdone?maybe preferring the bad to stay ‘shuttered away’ and not interfere with the glam of the town
Interspersed with a high tech companies almost cartel like encouraging of drug running and supply in the town we end up with a very different kind of thriller
The writing is so socially aware it stings, one of the best opening chapters I can remember and so good I re read it to absorb again what the author was saying, you can taste the reality of the words
With a oh so truthful bit on the Pandemic as it happened ( not part of the book as so much it appeared during the book if makes sense ) and the almost wincingly biting reality commentary on, well everything from social media to shopping and the mega character descriptions this book is outstanding in its ability to make you want to shout ‘read this’ just to experience the penmanship of the author
The Hi Tech business mentioned before maybe got a twitch confusing at times but honestly it didn’t matter such was the luxury of such good commentary prose
