If you can read this title without singing it, you deserve a cookie, preferably of the Christmas kind. Anyway, this book was cute and I enjoyed getting a sneak peak at what to expect this holiday season for reading material. I will recommend my library purchase this book for circulation.

This book not only made me smile, it made me laugh, too! Seriously, I LOLed several times throughout this fun story!

The characters are charming and you can't help but root for them.

It's told through two POV - Eve and Joe. Eve just found out her boyfriend has been cheating on her and Joe finally fesses up that he's been in love with her!

Super fun {if slightly unrealistic!} read to escape reality!

So unbelievable and kitsch, but you just can't help reading it! It makes you smile, cry, laugh and make you want to punch certain characters! Definitely Christmassy, definitely romantic and definitely readable.

FIVE GOLD RINGS
by Kristen Bailey

Eve catches her boyfriend Chris in a compromising position in their shower and decides she's had it with him. It's Christmas time and all of the gifts they've purchased are under the tree. Eve starts pulling out gifts, unwrapping them, and hucking them out the window. Chris tries to protest, but Eve ignores him.

Eve gets a little tipsy and goes to Caspar and Sons, a jewelry store where she works because the owners are like family to her. Mr. and Mrs. Caspar call Joe in, he works in the jewelry shop part-time also and has a mega crush on Eve. They think that Joe might be able to help Eve.

Mr. Caspar has some last-minute ring deliveries to do before Christmas is over and asks Joe and Eve to take over for him. Then the adventure begins.

This is a slightly humorous Christmas novel, Eve is drunk throughout most of the book, and I didn't care much for that part. She should have bucked up and stood up to her trials. I did like that it was set in England and the unique way that their sayings are different from American sayings. There were some mental health issues in the book, but the book didn't get too in-depth with them.

I received a complimentary copy of #FiveGoldRings from #StormPublishing #NetGalley I was under no obligation to post a review.

When a book makes me smile, it’s a great one. When it makes me laugh, it’s a noteworthy one. Five gold rings made me laugh for sure. There were so many hilarious moments, that just fitted my humor.

In addition it was a cute story, and I loved the characters. Sure, someone falling in love so fast after a break-up isn’t entirely believable, but we do know that adrenaline combined with alcohol surely creates emotions one might not otherwise experience.

We follow two POVs, Eve and Joe. Eve has just discovered that her boyfriend was cheating on her, and Joe has been in love with Eve for a while without telling her. Perfect setup? Oh, yes!! I have read Bailey’s books before, and they also made me laugh and feel great about the world, so it was wonderful that I got the chance to feel that way again.

The book isn’t deep or profound, but it was enjoyable, cute and fun. What more can you ask for to take your mind off things and make you feel better for a while?

Thanks to netgalley and storm publishing for the arc in exchange for my honest opinion.

3.5 stars!

If you want a good laugh you should give this book a try!

When Eve discovers that her boyfriend is getting a blowjob from another woman, all the Christmas gifts fly out the window, including the engagement ring Chris wanted to propose to her with.

When Eve arrives at work in a panic, her super sweet employers quickly call Joe to see if he can come there.
Joe is Eve's colleague and has secretly had a crush on Eve for a long time. At the jeweler where they work, a mistake was made when delivering the rings, so Joe and Eve go out together to deliver them.

Every Delivery gets crazier and yet they still manage to get everything done on time and make everyone around them happy.
Eve is quite drunk along the way because of all her heartbreak.
While Eve and Joe go on all these adventures together, something starts to grow between them. there's even a kiss.

My favorite part had to be when they stole the turkey after the confrontation with Chris's family.

The story was a very slow slow burn and once they got together there was a mini epilogue and that was it. I would have liked that to be a bit longer and more extensive. I also sometimes missed the chemistry between Eve and Joe.

But all in all I thought it was a nice and funny book!

This was so so cute! Eve and Joe are such fun characters and the ring deliveries they go on bring out so much in both of them. I loved hearing about the Caspar's little jewelry shop too and how it made a difference in those people's lives who bought from there.
A really great feel good Christmas read.

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for this ARC!

Ho-ho-ho, what a great holiday romance! Eve is a mess and Joe is such a sweetheart, they’re both easy to root for. I particularly liked Joe’s inner kindness and the fact that even though Eve is only just single, their growing closer to one another feels natural and not forced. It’s the first time I read Kristen Bailey, but I’ll make sure to check what else she has out.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to discover this author and this precious little story.

4 stars out of 5!

This was my first book by Kristen Bailey and I was really impressed. This story had a little bit of everything: humor, love, sadness, etc. It is the perfect Christmas read, think Hallmark movie. I really enjoyed both Eve and Joe's characters and I was so happy with how everything tied up and ended in this book. Five Gold rings is a cute, funny enjoyable read that I would highly recommend!

We start off with Eve coming home early to find her boyfriend hooking up with another girl. Eve ends up going to her job at a jewelry store because she finds an engagement ring that her "boyfriend" bought for her. She ends up there with her coworker Joe (who has a crush on her) and both have been asked to deliver some rings. The two go on an adventure to deliver all 5 fives while Eve is trying to make sense of what just happened in her life. The story is heartwarming and hilarious with the best ending.

Thank you Netgalley and Storm Publishing for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.

As always, Kristen writes really likeable characters, and this book is full of them, although there is the odd one who for good reason isnt. Go and read this as soon as ypu can. Its definitely a 5 star for me

This was like reading a script for a hallmark movie - in the best way possible!! I was having a blast following Joe and eves story and their conquest to save Christmas. The writing was so enjoyable that I was able to picture everything clearly in my mind. I loved loved that Joe was a soft man who didn’t hide his feelings. A huge thank you to NetGalley for giving me a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I loved this book! From beginning to end. It was absolutely hysterical. I don't want to ruin the surprise and hilarity of the opening scene for anyone, so I'll jump forward a bit to where Eve and her part time co-worker, Joe, have to deliver 5 engagement/wedding rings to different people from Dec 24-25th. At every stop, some ridiculous scenario plays out where our MCs get dragged into the action, growing closer with every delivery. It's a fun holiday read, and I highly recommend it for anyone seeking a laugh.

Thank you Net Galley and Storm Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this ARC. I am a Kristen Bailey fan, the banter and her sense of humor make her books so enjoyable. I was laughing throughout Five Gold Rings and there were moments where I did feel the chemistry between the characters. There were some pretty cheesy Hallmark movie moments and some moments I felt their connection could have been stronger. But overall this was a good holiday read! My favorite part of the book was the epilogue, I was pleasantly surprised to see Ed (from Sex Ed another Kristen Bailey ARC I received a few months ago) make an appearance. I love a good cross over! The epilogue had me feeling all the love and closure (in regard to Sex Ed), and the love between Eve and Joe was strongest then so it ended on a good note in my opinion.

This book was laugh out loud funny! The amount of times I caught myself laughing, smiling and giggling while reading this can’t even be put into words-it was just a funny and great read! The story of Eve and her relationship ending sounds like it’ll be a tale of sadness, but Joe and Eve’s banter is just so good and their chemistry is perfect. I loved seeing Eve remain strong when she wanted to fall apart and I loved seeing Joe support her through this time!

I can’t wait to read more from Kristen Bailey and I urge everyone who enjoys a holiday read or a romantic comedy to pick up Five Gold Rings when it hits shelves in October!

Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC.

Five Gold Rings by Kristen Bailey is a wonderful holiday romance with lots of humor, heart warming moments, and emotions thrown in along the way.

Eve comes home early a few days before Christmas to surprise her boyfriend but ends up the one being surprised when she finds him with another woman. Fast forward to later in the day when she is comforted by her lovely older bosses at the jewelry store, who send her on a mission with lovable co-worker Joe (who happens to have a crush on Eve) to deliver 5 rings to customers on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Their adventure is comedic, heart warming, and sort of an emotional rollercoaster.

I really enjoyed reading this book. It is currently September but it completely put me in the holiday spirit and I drank hot cocoa halfway through the book. (This is huge as I live in Arizona, USA and its still over 100 degrees Fahrenheit daily.)

Eve and Joe's adventure was not predictable in the least. I expected none of it in the best way. I laughed a lot, teared up, smiled even more, and could completely picture this as a movie. The ending was predictable but that's why we read romance novels, right? To get a happy ending. Do I think they got together a little too quickly after a breakup? Yes. But do I care? Not in the slightest. The holidays are all about happiness and I'll forgive the slightly unrealistic time frame in favor of that.

If you enjoy holiday romances with lots of humor, I definitely recommend this book.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy of the book in exchange for a review. All thoughts are my own.

This might have been a 4 star read if I had read it around Christmas. It was cute and had some laugh out loud moments! But it’s a romance that I think maybe could’ve used a bit more romance between the main characters.

Overall cute and enjoyable though, a good December read & publishes October 30

Thanks for earc netgalley!
