4 star read. I had a few laugh out loud moments. I loved everything about this book. It was such a fun cute read. The ending was the best

If you're seeking a heartwarming holiday read that will leave you with a smile, Five Gold Rings is the perfect choice.
A feel good book, it was funny in places and I liked the characters, would I say it was a page turner, no, but if you want something nice to read in front of the fire with a hot chocolate, this is the book for you.
This was very sweet but I'm not sure why it didn't land with me the way it did for others. While I found it funny and the ring concept was great, I just didn't feel the connection between our two main characters. And when you can't buy into that, it makes the romance element tough. That said, the comic elements are fun and I enjoyed reading all of the diffferent adventures with the rings. Many people will love this for Christmas read.
This was an interesting story line. I don't think I have read a book quite like it before. It did not go where I expected it to from the "incident" in the beginning, and that was a good thing. I'm not sure that I would say people have to read this story, but it was a step outside the normal tropes for those who are tired of the overdone holiday stories.
I would firstly just like to say a big thank you to NetGalley who very kindly forwarded me an arc copy of this book, for my kindle, in return for my honest review.
Five Gold Rings is billed as an utterly hilarious novel for anyone looking for a festive romance with all the feels and honestly this is a perfect description of it!
This book was absolutely hilarious, so so funny and literally had me laughing all of the way through!
It was such an easy book to read and i read it all in a couple of sittings as i just wanted to find out what was going on and how it was all going to end!
Such a heartwarming, romantic, funny, feel-good, Christmassy rom com and i thoroughly enjoyed everything about it…….
Five Gold Rings is a perfect easy read for the festive scene. It has the right mix of humour, compassion, and love, that demonstrate the real meaning of Christmas. I really enjoyed this.
I'm a sucker for Christmas comedies, and Five Gold Rings hit the spot perfectly. It was like reading Planes, Trains, and Automobiles if it had been a romance and they were delivering rings rather than trying to get home. There were strange sleeping arrangements, traveling antics, and so many laughs!!
Joe is such a ooey, gooey cinnamon roll of a guy and I loved the different ring deliveries (and obviously the naughty old French lady #iykyk)
Thank you, Storm Publishing and NetGalley, for the opportunity to read this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
"Never cry over a man, eat excellent cake instead."
I won't finish the full quote because a naughty old French lady said it, but it's so true. Poor Eve found her boyfriend of three years with another woman in their apartment, and she spends the next few days on a mission to deliver five engagement rings while mending her broken heart.
Along for the ride is Joe, her co-worker and a man who's had a crush on her for over a year. They are thrown together by their well-meaning employers who want to see them both happy and together.
Joe was such a sweet, gooey cinnamon roll who carted around his (often drunk) crush while fighting his own attraction. I love that he didn't push himself on her or even try to sabotage her relationship once he developed feelings. It showed how strong his character was. The fact that he had a part-time gig as a fit butler (it must be a British thing and it's just what it sounds like - amazing!) made him even more loveable.

It was like reading Planes, Trains, and Automobiles if it had been a romance and they were delivering rings rather than trying to get home. There were strange sleeping arrangements, traveling antics, and so many laughs!! And if you've read Sex Ed, you'll recognize a few characters at the end. I may have screamed a tiny bit seeing them mentioned!!

unfortunately this book didn’t live up to the expectations i had. at first, it was amazing and i really enjoyed reading it - but it got quite boring as the story wove on for some reason but i did enjoy the christmassy ness of it and the way the romance sort of developed from friendship.
This is one of my favourite Christmas books, that I have read in a long time. Beautifully written, with everything you want in a christmas story. And to top it off, you'll be singing a christmas hymn, whenever you pick it.
This is a super cute festive read! What's a girl to do when she comes home to find her boyfriend in the shower with another woman and then finds the engagement ring he was going to use to propose? Well, if you're Eve, then you proceed to throw most of the Christmas gifts for his family and the ring out the window and then get drunk on the remaining holiday booze.
After that, Eve goes to the jewelry store where she works and where he purchased the ring. The store owners are a sweet older couple who are extremely supportive of her. They call her super hot coworker who happens to have a crush on her. The two of them end up on a holiday mission to deliver five rings for Christmas. Their journey is hilarious and filled with holiday cheer.
Five Gold Rings is a fun Christmas romcom and a fantastic addition to your holiday reading list!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Holy Hallmark vibes!! 😍
This is the first time that I have read anything by this author and I loved it. I loved the characters, the storyline/plot and the authors writing.
I went into this bool expecting a cute Christmas romance book but boy oh boy, this was so much more! (I may have cried a few times)
Eve finds out her boyfriend is cheating on her by catching him in the act. As if that wasn’t back enough…they were in her home!!! Oh and I forgot to mention it’s just days before Christmas 😱 (don’t worry, it’s okay to be angry lol)
You’ll love this book if you’re looking for a cute holiday read that will make you feel all of the feels from love, laughs, anger, and crying haha. Can’t wait to get my hands on more Kristen Bailey!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and the Publisher for gifting me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review.
I read a lot of Christmas novels at this time of year but this one is my standout of the season so far, I adored it! I loved the set up of Eve catching her boyfriend in a compromising situation and then being helped through it by her lovely work colleague Joe, with a little help from their bosses. It's a bit of a madcap novel at times as the pair agree to deliver five rings on Christmas Eve and all the scrapes they get in to. It's very funny, a little sentimental and it's just so festive and cute. I highly recommend this one and I know I'll be re-reading this for many Christmases to come!
Thanks to the publishers for sharing this book. I'm a big fan of Kristen Bailey and this book was just what I hoped it would be- a fun, escapist, seasonal rom com. My full review appears on Weekend Notes.
Another fantastically funny book from Kristen, brilliant characters & great story line which gave me alll the Christmas feels!
I could see this one being made into a film!
4.5⭐️
Eve catches her boyfriend of 3 years, in the shower cheating on her & then finds an engagement ring under the tree (bought from the jewelers Eve works at) which she proceeds to throw out the window along wtih all his fmailies gifts.
She then does the next natural thing and gets drunk on holiday booze and ends up going back to the jewelers to ask about the ring and get some support from the extremely cute older couple who own the store.
Throw in a hot part time butler in the buff who's had a huge crush on Eve for nearly 2 years and a mission to retrieve 5 gold rings and deleive them to the corrext people over chrismas and youve got yourself a genuine laugh out loud book.
I really enjoyed this festive read, and the adventure these 2 went on was so funny.
A very light-hearted book with the festive season feels. I laugh a lot and enjoyed the writing. It's my first Christmas book in years so, was definitely different.

Having loved ‘Sex Ed’ I was so excited to get a chance to see another new book by Kristen Bailey on NetGalley. So of course I instantly requested it and was not disappointed!
Eve loves the holidays so she was excited to celebrate with the love of her life. However, this changed when she found said ‘love’, and another woman, in a compromising position in the shower. Needless to say Eve changed her plans.
After ridding herself of said boyfriend, his belongings, including the wrapped gifts, Eve sought out the support of her caring employers Mr. & Mrs. Caspar. Not only do the Caspars own a jewelry store but they also fancy themselves matchmakers. Enter Joe. Joe has been in love with Eve for a long time. So when the Caspars send the two on an excursion to deliver 5 Gold rings, Joe gets his chance to spend time with his crush.
This was such an enjoyable book. Kristen Bailey creates such interesting and lovable characters. They are witty, sweet, and fun. I found myself laughing out loud and was engaged throughout. The adventures they went on were unique and provided even more fun characters, adding to the overall enjoyment of the book.
It is a special thing to find a book that makes you laugh, tear up, and hope the main characters find what they desire. I really didn’t want the book to end. Such a good escape from all the stress of everyday life. I absolutely encourage you to read this book!
Many thanks to Storm Publishing, NetGalley, and the author for the opportunity to read this ARC for my honest review.
I thought this book was such a joy to read, the synopsis immediately grabbed my attention so I knew I was in for a whirlwind with this one. It was fast-paced and had a great plot that really took you through the motions of Eve's relationship with her unfaithful ex and her workplace buddy-to-be Joe. This story si quick and sweet and just everything you want in a christmas love story.
