This is the first book in the Maggie McCready's Travelling Tarot Adventures. It's magical with angels defending Angel street against evil. Maggie McCready is a travelling tarot reader who offers spiritual advice over a cup of tea and a charmed biscuit or two. Maggie arrives in Angel Street to support tea blender and café owner, Lucy Silverton who is being targeted by unknown sectors of the community, undermining her confidence and business. Maggie must find out who is bullying the businesses of Angel St Business Network while keeping herself safe. This is her first mission assisting Archangel Michael and the Legions of Light to protect the suburb from the encroaching dark forces. This book peaked my interest and will look for book 2.

The Angel Tea House by Melody R. Green

A cozy, hungry and tarot-themed mystery book! It has a slow start, but it picks up the pace soon. This will be a great book to read with cup of tea and cover yourself with a blanket.

I like the characters and the author took me her tea house successfully!

Many thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and the author for my copy.

An atmospheric and mystical mystery. This is a great start to a new series.

I found this book a little hard to get into with all the characters, I didn’t connect with them as much as I thought I would. That made me not as invested in the outcome. Regardless this was still a quick cozy read that kept me pretty entertained!

This is a book I found quite fun to read. With it's mystery, small town feeling, a tarot reader and a teahouse (I am a huge tea drinker myself!). With great characters and a lovely story of community it is a warm and cosy read and one I enjoyed and was very entertained by.

I believe this is the first in a series and I do look forward to seeing what comes next. A charming, magical and is one of those books that will make you smile as you travel through the story while having a hot cup of tea to warm you up. I would say this is a 3 1/2 star read for me.

Thank you NetGalley and Melody R. Green Books for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.

Thank you to Netgalley, the publishers and of course the author for gifting me this advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

I was so excited to receive an early copy of this as I fell in love with the synopsis. I loved reading about the MFC Maggie, a wandering spirit, who is a tarot reader. When she comes across a tea room one day and feels a strong pull towards its connection the story starts developing at a faster pace as she connects with Lucy Silverton, the owner of the tea room.

I loved the magic, the way the writing opens up your third eye of imagination to transport you there into the world Green created, whilst also combining the mystery and magic of tarot reading and real life interpretations.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it did not disappoint at all and I am so thrilled to learn this is a first in a series and can't wait to get my hands on the next book (no pressure, but hurry up!).

Loved the look of this book from the cover and the synopsis sounded great. I so wanted to love this book but found it really hard going. I didn’t engage with the main character so found it hard going. Not sure if I was in some sort of funk when I was reading this but I might try reread again in a few months time.
Many thanks to both the author and netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for an honest unbiased review.

Maggie is guided by spirits and travels to where she is needed to help quell dark forces and keep the light in power. With her team, including an arch angel, she will help Angel Street businesses win the war with evil.

I wanted to love this book because it had a very cute, cozy feel to it. It felt like two separate stories to me--one starring Lucy & Toby and a second focused on Maggie, her tarot reading, and an arch-demon named Phineas. There was a pretty good build up if the plot, but then it fell flat. Overall, it had a charming feel to it, but it was missing something for me as far as the battle between good and evil is concerned. ⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

I thought the cover design of this book looked beautiful, and it looked and sounded like something that I would enjoy.

If I had to describe how this book made me feel, I would say it made me feel how a cup of tea makes me feel. it warmed me, comforted me, and lifted my spirits. For me, a cup of tea is one of life's little comforts, as is a good book. It's something that makes your day just that little bit better. If there are going to be more books about Maggie and her teashop, I would be interested in reading them.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for a free copy to review.
