The thoughts of a man, Callis, during what I would call The New Crusades, written to his wife, Maya. It's heartbreaking, specially when you see her point of view, in the only letter she send to her husband. The confussion that leads to what his comrades call weakness... is only him having a change of mind. I always asked myself what would a solider think during war... and I think this book enlighten me in that way. I would love to read more from you.

A genre-bending masterpiece that defies easy categorization. It's as if the worlds of science fiction and philosophy collided in a spectacular fusion. The book follows the exploits of Callias, a commander in the ranks of a New Empire, as it rises to power and enslaves nations.

Through Callias' letters to his beloved wife Maya, we not only witness the empire's conquests but also delve deep into the ideologies and quirks of this new world order. This is a thought-provoking read that challenges the status quo and offers a thrilling narrative.

This book is like nothing I've ever read before—it's part science fiction, part philosophy, and all gripping storytelling. From the very beginning, you'll be hooked by Callias' letters and his journey through a New Empire that seeks to conquer the world.

What makes this book truly special is how it weaves together a thrilling narrative with profound insights into society and politics. Juan Can's detailed analysis of each nation the empire conquers is both eye-opening and thought-provoking. If you're someone who's looking for a book that challenges the norm and offers a fresh perspective on our world today, this is the one. Plus, if you enjoy a healthy dose of political intrigue and action, you won't be able to put it down. To my Maya - Correspondence of War is a rollercoaster of a read that will leave you pondering its themes long after you've finished.
