I felt related to this book. Marriage in trouble i know all to well how that is in real and reading it put things in perspective for me. Also some things i missed when i was going through it myself. Its not like every romance story which is good i highly recommend it.

“Our life might be imperfect, complicated, and frustrating, but it’s better together.”

Nothing But It All was an emotional and at times heartbreaking portrayal of a marriage between two people who love each other desperately but life has broken their bond. Lauren and Jack are married but are two strangers who no longer know how to communicate and when things seem broken beyond measure, can the love they have for one another be enough to draw them back together?

“The man who used to heal all my wounds now only injures me more.”

Lauren was such a relatable character. She’s the caretaker who feels like a supporting character in her own life. Her husband is focused on his business and providing for his family and has forgotten about his wife’s needs and feelings. Lauren decides to put herself first for once and start living life more for herself.

“I can’t break myself to build you anymore.”

Jack loved his wife and his family more than anything, but when his wife is unhappy, he doesn’t understand her reasoning. It takes almost losing her for him to finally listen to what she has been saying and to realize that he’s been isolating himself from his family because it’s easier.

“Our bond tells a story of a family going to wild lengths to ensure it stays together—because together is the only way.”

I cared deeply about both Jack and Lauren and could see both of their sides. When they finally start to communicate and to truly listen to another, you could see how much they loved one another. They knew that marriage was messy, complicated and that their problems couldn’t be fixed overnight, but once they made the commitment to choose one another, they could work to stay together. Nothing But It All was a beautifully messy and layered story full of humor and every emotion and it gave me all the feels. All of the characters were absolutely wonderful, and I loved this story even more than I thought I would.

I read this as an ARC from Netgalley and the publisher. I have absolutely adored Adriana’s novels since I stumbled upon them! This is a standalone novel with a lot of emotions involved. This novel surrounds a marriage in trouble. I really liked this novel and would recommend to fans of emotional books, and her former novel Written in the Scars!

i’m
betting there’s more couples out there than we realise who could relate to this story ….
Albeit it’s a love story this isn’t your typical fall in love and live happily ever after. This story is what happens after marriage. when complacency settles in, we forget the little things and we forget about giving our time to each other, about just being there for each other. Take each other for granted and before you know your marriage is holding on by a thread.
Adriana writes this story where Lauren and Jack have lost their way together but their sneaky children and their grandfather work together to bring them
both to the same place at the same time.
Lauren and Jack begin to open up to each other, their spark reignites and they rekindle their love and affection. But is this just a temporary thing or can they continue to build and go back to how life was once they return home to normal life.
I absolutely love Adriana Locke’s angsty reads the most so i knew i was going to really enjoy this one. But she does bring plenty of wit and humour too because there’s a couple of characters that will just have you smiling.

A brilliant read with very normal real feel.

Nothing But It All, by Adriana Locke, takes us into the lives and marriage of Lauren and Jack, who have been together over 20 years. They had a strong love and marriage, but over time, they have lost that connection they have and are living two very separate lives. This book really dives into what can happen to a marriage when you stop listening to each other and only start seeing the faults in your spouse. This book gets it right and I loved the way Lauren and Jack finally are able to hear each other and reconnect. It really all just rang true for me (as someone who has been married 30 years and has had the ups and downs in my marriage.). Well done. Highly recommend. Thank you NetGalley for an advanced copy!

5 Stars for this emotional tear-jerker!

I LOVED this book ... it's so different from the regular romance book. It's so raw and real ... anyone who has been married for any length of time will relate to what Jack and Lauren go through. I laughed, I cried and my heart broke for them.

Jack and Lauren have been married for 20 years and the spark is gone from their marriage. Jack is always at the car business he started while Lauren runs all over with the kids for activities and takes care of everything to do with the house. When she falls into her own scrapbooking business by accident, she realizes that she just can't do it all anymore. So she distances herself from Jack and looks into what it takes to start divorce proceedings. Every year they take two weeks and go to the cabin at Story Brook with the kids and Jack's dad ... that won't be happening this year. But the kids conspire to get them at the cabin so their parents can get back on track and if that doesn't work, at least they'll have one more great vacation at the cabin.

I received an early copy courtesy of Montlake through NetGalley.

I devoured and adored so much about this book. It’s a beautiful and emotional second chance and goes to show you that there are still bumps in the road.

Jack and Lauren’s relationship is on the rocks and it has been for some time. While still married there is so much they don’t know about each other. However, their children and Jack’s dad may have something planned to help them find what they have lost over the years.

I loved reading Jack and Lauren rediscover themselves and their relationship. They have things they need to work through as individuals, but also as a couple. I love their children getting involved and of course, Jack’s father. Jack and Lauren do have a connection and chemistry, they just need to reignite that spark they had.

If you’re looking for a marriage in crisis, close proximity, one bed, second chance, small town romance check this one out.

As the walls close in, their teenage children, Michael and Maddie, embark on a well-intentioned conspiracy with their grandfather to reunite their parents.

The scenic setting and bittersweet memories create an intimate backdrop for the family's two-week retreat, promising a rollercoaster of emotions—hope, heartbreak, and unexpected possibilities.
"Nothing But It All" is a heartwarming tale of rediscovering love, filled with genuine emotions and a touch of deception, making it a delightful read for anyone seeking a touching, character-driven romance.

An amazing sweet story that really highlights the challenges of living your HEA. Lauren and Jack are married but Lauren wants more since Jack focuses more on his work than his family. Jack wanted to give his family the best in the world but didn't realize that they needed him. This is a coming to terms of what each partner needs and a beautiful, real world reminder of what is needed to maintain an HEA. A beautiful sweet story that made me tear up a lot, reminisce and also smile a fair bit throughout. Thanks to NetGalley, the publisher and author for a wonderful read!

I just can’t stop reading Adriana Locke books, because I’m blown away each and every time. Listen you need to read this one! It’s a marriage in trouble trope (no cheating) and it’s real. It’s emotional, it’s eye opening, and it’s going to grab ahold of you and not let you go.

Lauren and Jack have been married for 20 years, and marriage is work, but what do you do when you think you are the only one putting forth the effort?

Take this journey with these two, see how they work through their issues and decide if it’s all worth it. Adriana has written a story that’s bittersweet and heartfelt because this couple is REAL, their emotions are so believable you are going to root for them.

I loved this one, just read this!! It’s a beautiful story!

Five stars!! Locke has once again nailed the marriage in trouble trope. She does it with so much finesse and so much heart. You are rooting for this family the entire book. These two really wrap around your heart. Small town romance with the sense of a strong family just going through though times. I always enjoy Lockes stories and this one is no different.

Highly recommended.

I love that I could see into her mindset and read exactly what she was feeling when she thought out situations. Her thoughts flowed well and moved the book along very quickly. Cassandra's narrative voice is wonderful. She is serious at times, but also very witty, which makes for an engaging read.

Jack and Lauren’s marriage is in the final moments. Jack has taken Lauren for granted for the last time, and Lauren can’t exist in the atmosphere of neglect. Their two children and Jack’s dad conspire to try to remind them that they have love to build a new basis for their marriage.

This is a second chance romance. SPOILERS: Jack and Lauren both learn to speak up and take responsibility, all without the help of a therapist. I don’t know that I agreed with Lauren’s final reasoning at the end, but there is a HEA (presumably) ending.

I feel like I’ve read this book before. There were numerous Deja vu moments. The scrapbooking angle also made it seem dated, like this may be a re-release.

Readers who enjoy this type of second chance romance will like this book.

This was a very well written story about family, love, forgiveness, moving on and listening to your partner. It really showed the joys, triumphs and sorrows in a marriage and I really loved it so much. It was very realistic because I am sure this happens to many couples.

This story centers on Lauren and Jack. They have been married for 20 years and still love each other but they are estranged. They live very separate lives but they are still married, love their kids and Lauren is ready to pull the plug. Jack knows he cannot let her go and this is his story on how he wins his wife back.

It is not always wonderful or perfect but he doesn't want to lose his wife and I loved how he fought for her heart. I also loved that Lauren opened her eyes and learned to forgive . This was a wonderful and realistic view of marriage and I loved how they made it work for them.

This was a poignant and heartfelt read about a married couple who have drifted apart. Even though Lauren and Jack still love each other, the demands of work, kids and life in general have made them live separate lives. And Lauren is demanding a change. I think many people can relate to this couple since their situation is not unique. I was happy to see that Lauren and Jack were able to talk about their problems and expectations and not get caught up in the physicality of their relationship. While it is told primarily in Lauren’s POV, we do also get Jack’s POV which I really enjoyed. I even enjoyed all the secondary characters such as the children, Maddie and Micheal, Jack’s dad, Harvey, and even the dog, Snap. While I recognize this is fiction, it felt like the author wrote from personal experience which made it more real.

Nothing But it All is a fantastic read. This is a story of family and what happens when you stop paying attention to your marriage and put everything and everyone before yourself. You feel for Lauren as she struggles to find herself beyond her children and her marriage. Jack is blinded and focused on his job to see what is in front of them. You have meddling kids with a little help to push Jack and Lauren to face the not so pretty truths of how they ended up they way they are. This is a beautiful heartwarming story showing you all the stages of love and relationships. Lauren and Jack are fantastic together once the communications begin. I could not put this down. My heart was all over the place. Such a beautiful read that I found to be relatable in so many ways. You need to read this now.

4,5 stars

A very realistic story that describes today's society in which we are forced to spend most of our time outside the home chasing after profit. Unfortunately, we cannot function without profit, and because of it, we lose precious time with parents, family, and friends. There is a crisis in marriages, we do not notice that years have passed and that our children have grown up, that our parents have grown old. We lose ourselves and wonder what kind of life we lead and whether it is more valuable than what we have, which is our family.

NetGalley , Montlake -thank you for this opportunity , I really enjoyed it .

Wow. I loved this story so much. After 20 years of marriage and being a stay at home mum looking after the kids and running them around for their extra curricular activities, then supporting her husband, Jack, Lauren Reed has finally decided to throw the towel in. Her husband is never home, he’s always working, he doesn’t appreciate her, he doesn’t even see her half the time, she wants to start living again. When Jack finally realises exactly where his wife’s thoughts are going he’s blindsided, he did not see that coming, but could it be too late to save his marriage? He’s never loved anyone else, he can’t see his life without her, he’s not willing to give up on them. Maybe with a little help from two adorable children, a grumpy father, and a cheeky puppy, things can get back on track, but he’s got a LOT of making up to do. I don’t think the fault is all his, Lauren’s also played a part in their marriage’s demise, but she’s had enough, she doesn’t want to be a second thought anymore, she’s going to look out for herself from now on. I was desperate for these two to work out their differences, I always get emotional when I read books that have a loving marriage that’s falling apart, and this is no exception. The tears were falling for the whole family, I loved them and I was desperate for them to make it work. It always makes me realise that nothing should be taken for granted, and no matter how settled you think you are, no matter how much in love you are, you still need to work at keeping it together. The characters were wonderful, from Lauren and Jack, to their adorable children, and of course grandpa, he was the best. Oh and let’s not forget the puppy, he was definitely a fun addition. There were tears a plenty throughout this entertaining and emotional story. A full five star read for me. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I love the raw emotion books from Adriana Locke. The stories are so relatable and the characters feel so real, you just get pulled into their world.

The story of Jack and Lauren is no different. Complacency, changing priorities, drifting apart. These two have drifted so far apart, this is a second chance for them. You will get both sides. There was no “I’m on this team” for me. The dual POV is masterfully done, giving us great insight into the minds of these characters. It is a journey of rediscovering how to be a real couple again and I loved the growth and owning up from both. Life can be hard. Communicating “this doesn’t work anymore” is difficult and accepting is easier until it’s not. It is a heavy story with a serious topic, but we still get the humor we’re accustomed to with Addy. (The meddling of their kids and Harvey gave me Banks vibes - shenanigans out of love). Definitely a must read.

After 20 years of marriage, Jack and Lauren are struggling. Feeling more like roommates adrift, their kids (teenagers) and grandfather (Jack's dad) arrange a family vacation at a lakeside cabin in the woods. This story is full of family dynamics, self discovery, marriage challenges, and heart.

This was a heartwarming while still anguishing story about a married couple on the brink of divorce and the long journey back to each other.
