I truly think this could be a case of right book, wrong time. Or my expectations being too high.
To start with, I love Adriana's books - she has such a talent at crafting complex characters and mixing them with fun storylines. The family dynamics in this were really cool, and I thought the side characters were done really well! It defo needed more to really hit home for a second chance/potential divorce book - considering the tropes, I do think the romance lacked the tension and deep development that would've made the happy ending feel earned. I was gearing up for an emotional rollercoaster, but it ended up just being a fun read.

i honestly wasn’t a fan of the marriage in crisis trope .. ): i thought that this would be something that i really liked but i just found myself anxious the whole time and not really enjoying it . i love adriana’s writing but this trope just isn’t for me .

Bring on a marriage in trouble romance with older characters that just seal the deal. I don't typically read a lot of older characters, but this one was done to perfection!

A refreshing change from the usual billionaire love stories. This is a story about regular people. Jack owns an auto shop and Lauren is a stay-at-home wife and mother to their two children. With very realistic characters we join their story as their marriage is crumbling.
Despite the subject matter it isn't too angsty, in fact it's more of a masterclass in how to keep a marriage going.
I enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more from this author.

This is a marriage in crisis book that delivered big feelings. Our hero and heroine have been through the ups and downs of marriage. Loving big and losing big. Babies... Business building... Shifting priorities. Somewhere along the way they forgot to put themselves first.
I love that this couple's struggles weren't hidden because it made the story more real to me. How do you go from loving someone with all your might, to barely giving them the time of day? These two eventually figure it out, with the help of their kids, but it's a bit of a bitter battle until they reach their second HEA.
The one thing I didn't like is how oblivious the hero was. They practically weren't married, and yet he's shocked when the D word gets brought up

I enjoyed this book and thought it was a great quick read
I haven't read many marriage in crisis books and although miscommunication/lack of communication was the main issue for it, it wasn't frustrating (which often can be the case with miscommunication)
I liked that the kids and the grandad planned together to trick the parents into spending time together at their cabin
I feel like it didn't solely focus on the romance and more on the family bond and getting everyone to spend time together and to have open communication
- marriage in crisis
- forced proximity
- meddling family

This is a good book. The two main characters are Lauren and Jack. They are married. They have two children, a boy Michael, and a girl Maddie. They are having problems in their marriage. Jack is taking Michael and Lauren has Maddie for the day. They all land up in their vacation home. Lauren and Jack start working on their marriage, the find out that they are in love with one another.

Thank you to Valentine PR, Netgalley, the publishers Montlake, along with the author Adriana Locke for letting me read, along with review this advanced copy of Nothing But It All. This novel was a three star romance read, however truthfully I am not a big fan of marriage in trouble romance books. I still did read Nothing But It All from start to finish. This novels release date is Tuesday February 20th 2024.

Adriana Locke did not disappoint with this book. I read and listened to this book and could not put it down. With all the feels you happy sad and just want more. I cannot wait for anything else by Adriana Locke.

I had to take a minute and process this book. A second chance romance where the characters are just about still married and how they turn it around.
Lauren and Jack have been married for 20 years. She is thinking about divorce as she has no relationship with the man she had 2 children with and has no life outside of her children and their activities. Jack is seemingly oblivious to it all. He works hard and pays the bills but isn’t present in the lives of his wife or children.
With interfering children and their grandpa, Jack and Lauren find themselves thrown together and have the opportunity to talk and spend time to rekindle the spark.
I found this book very relatable to periods in my marriage when you forget you are part of a partnership not just paying the bills and being a driver for your children.
There were moments that pull on your heartstrings and laugh out loud moments as well which made this book a really enjoyable read.
Thanks to #Netgalley for the advanced copy of this story.

Nothing But It All by Adriana Locke is a
second chance romance about a married couple Jack and Lauren trying to find each other again. I liked this book so much because yes there is romance but really touching and profound topics are covered. You can't help but feel empathy for the two of them. The dynamics, the chemistry
between the two characters make the narration of the story a reading that you can't stay detached from. You can't.
I admit that there were moments when I was laughing and others when I was in tears. Because the beauty of this book is that the Author has brought us a story of a true and real couple like many others.
Another thing that struck me about these characters is that even in difficulty they manage to grow and mature. I really hope to read more stories by Adriana Locke. Rating 5⃣ ⭐

I don’t know how I missed reviewing this one! I read it a while back and really enjoyed it! I loved her writing style.

I’m not usually the type of reader that enjoys the troubled marriage trope, but this book was a cute one. It was well written, and I can really say that whenever I had the chance, I was picking up my iPad to get back to this book. In this book Lauren feels unheard and unseen by her husband who never seems to spend much time with his family, his job came above all else and he wasn’t even noticing how that was affecting his marriage. That is until Lauren cancels their family trip, and their kids find out about an appointment for Lauren with a divorce attorney, they come up with a clever plan to get the trip back on track–with help from Jack’s dad, of course to try and keep Jack & Lauren together. The ending was great for them and not at all the ending I was expecting.
𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑪𝑳𝑨𝑰𝑴𝑬𝑹: As always, although this is an E-ARC, my thoughts are my own and this is my honest review. Thank you to Adriana Locke, NetGalley and Valentine PR for the ARC opportunity.

Thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and author for the copy of this eARC in exchange for an honest review.
Very enjoyable read!

Nothing But It All is for anyone who is married or in a serious relationship. Relationships are not easy every moment, but it's choosing to be there through the hard times. I absolutely love this book because it's a reminder that you can't get lost in the every day and working to communicate is important before the little things become big.
Lauren is a stay at home mom to two teens who is tired and fed up. Her husband is always working to build up his business and provide for the family and her children are busy with life. She should be happy. She has a wonderful family that loves her, beautiful house, and doesn't have to worry about bills. However, Lauren is not happy at all. She misses her husband and truly being happy and doing something for herself. So she finally decides to make a change for herself and starts a very successful scrapbook business.
Jack runs his own mechanic company and not fighting with his wife is just more easier. Sure it's creating more distance and things are great, but they definitely aren't that bad or so he thought.
Lauren and Jack are tricked into going to the family lake house after cancelling for the summer by their two children, Maddie and Michael. Lauren didn't want their last summer together to be spent arguing with Jack, however Maddie and Michael convince their parents to stay by sharing that they know a divorce is coming. Lauren and Jack constantly find themselves together alone every day and eventually start talking about where things went wrong and remembering the good times.

Nothing But it All was an emotional marriage in trouble, second chance romance. Lauren and Jack's love story was filled with so much emotion but despite all of their issues they still had so much chemistry and connection between the two. This was so beautifully written and loved it so much.

If there is one thing to take away from Adriana Locke books is the fact that she knows what's doing. I was a sobbing mess half of this book. It made me realize some things that are happening in my life need changes and soon so I don't end up like our MCs did in the beginning of this story.
Jack and Lo have been married for 2 decades but the last couple of years things have turned sour. Somewhere along the way they've become strangers to each other. But with a little help from their kids and friends and family they were given a chance for one last effort to try and patch things up. And here is where the beauty of this book comes in - the getaway didn't magically remove all the problems they had. It showed that despite loving each other sometimes that is not enough if both parties are not willing to put in the work and compromise.
But the best part is even when they managed to find their way back into each other's arms, it wasn't all rainbows and sunshine. This story felt real and I highly recommend this to anyone who needs a story that will help you start believing that all is possible if you love strong enough.

It's been a few years or more since I last read an Adriana Locke book. I've always enjoyed her work but these last few years my reading tastes have changed, so I wondered whether I would love this or it would feel tired, dated and just not for me. I am only too happy to report that this author has only grown better in that time. This book hooked me from the start, had me falling in love with ALL the main characters (this is about more than just Lo and Jack) and even made me cry a couple of times. The story is beautifully written, filled with the love of family but also honest about the impact life and the struggle to survive can have on those we (should) hold most dear.
"Frank and I had our biggest challenges when one of us was growing or changing. They were some of the watershed moments of our marriage."
...
"The thing that got us through them was simple - we wanted to get through them. It's amazing how far that one little thing goes."
Lauren is very unhappy in her marriage, to protect herself further she is ready to move on. Her husband Jack is utterly oblivious to all this, so it's down to their family to try and bring them back together. I am still in awe of how the author took me from resenting Jack to thinking he was the best thing since sliced bread, he really redeemed himself. This felt so true to life that neither party had meant to hurt the other but had done so unwittingly. Their journey back to discovering who they were as a couple was both heartbreaking and love reaffirming, I simply didn't want to put the book down and whilst the story ultimately made me very happy, I was also a little sad to reach the end and have to leave them behind.
I highly recommend this to those who love a warm, sexy, second chance romance.

I enjoyed the parent trapping by the kids to save the parents marriage. Lauren and Jack’s marriage is in trouble they are forced to talk their concerns during their 2week family vacation. The whole book dealt with love situations with the grandpa the parents and the kids all having their own issues with relationships. It all came together beautifully.

What an amazing read. Adriana continues to blow me away with her stories. The story of Jack and Lauren is so emotional. Lauren doesn’t feel seen or wanted in her marriage. Their kids want to try and fix their parents marriage so they cook up a scheme. Will it work? Can they find their way back to each other? This is a beautiful story of forgiveness, rekindling of love, and a lot of emotion.
