ussAurora you will always be famous๐๏ธ๐
Absolute utter perfection!!!!
I canโt even fully process this book because Iโm just so in love with it and I want to reread it again already.
This book was the perfect summer romance of all the fluff, spice and more. Russ and Aurora are two sweet angel babies who I want to protect with my life. Their character development and how they grew and changed and moved away from their backgrounds and upbringing was so incredible and Iโm so proud of two people who donโt even exist I love them so much <3333
Everything about this book was just amazing and then it got to the epilogueโฆ. Tell me why I was ready to absolutely sob my heart out what a perfect perfect ending for them and it was so nice to see all of the other characters ahhhh I just loved it so much!
Thanks so much to Love Notes PR and Hannah for the ARC (I absolutely squealed whilst driving down the motorway with my boyfriend when I received the email!) ๐๐๐๐๐
Well...I inhaled this book. ๐
I thought it was impossible to top Nate and Anastasia as my favorite couple of the series...but here we are.
Aurora and Russ are freaking adorable together.
The whole summer camp setting was super fun. I loved all the side characters too: Xander and Emilia are definitely moving on my favorite characters list.
Also, important information: THERE ARE DOGS AT THE CAMP!!
The spice was amazing again. Hannah never misses with her steamy scenes. And let me tell you: Aurora and Russ are horny as hell for each other. ๐
But there's a little problem: the camp has a no fraternization rule. As a result, the tension and the sneaking around was absolutely perfect.
And THAT epilogue? it made me tear up for real ๐ฅบ
You can bet I'm gonna reread it once the book comes out.
P.S.: the drunk jenga scene from the beginning lives rent free in my head
I'd like to thank Love Notes PR for the e-arc of this book.

Wildfire by Hannah Grace was everything I wanted it to be. Being the second book in the Maple Hills series I won't lie I was excited but a little nervous. Icebreaker was such an amazing book, would Book 2 be just as good? I'm here to tell you that it was just as good!
To quote Russ and Aurora "A walking advertisement for daddy issues" which is a main theme throughout the book that had both Russ and Aurora bonding in the best way.
I'm here to tell you we have a book where they realise they're miscommunicating and work on it! PLUS no third act break up. We love to see it.
This book had me laughing out loud. The spice was excellent as per usual in a Hannah Grace book.
There are many tropes at play in this book but if you love a little bit of sneaking around and forced proximity, friends to lovers, and one-night stand action then this book is for you.
Confident Girl x Shy Boy was at play a lot throughout Wildfire however, there were moments where you got a glimpse inside Aurora's head and she wasn't as confident as she seemed.
"God, it's exhausting trying to think about what you do before you do it" VIBE
I definitely recommend this book. Looking forward to seeing what comes next from Hannah.
I'll leave you with a quote from the book I loved.
"I want to be there for you because I care about you. I feel like I could be a better friend to you if you communicated with me."
4.50!
I honestly can't form words right now because it's been so long since I read a cute fluffy romance and I'm so glad that I read this because my love for them increased.
Tropes:
โข Dual pov
โข Confident FMC X shy MMC
โข Summer camp romance
โข One night stand
โข Forced proximity
โข Angst
โข Fluffiness
โข Found family
โข KISSING IN THE RAIN
This was a very character driven novel and I absolutely love characters driven novels, it had some plot but it wasnt the main focus and to be honest it didn't even bother me, I didn't even feel like I needed it because the characters were so good that I totally fell in love with them.
Aurora our FMC was such a strong, cute and pretty FMC I was in love with her like her character was very strong and how she took decisions at times where it felt like everything was over really made me love her more she encouraged Russ, helped him and most of all loved him alot while also dealing with her own problems. I really loved her for that.
Also she was so damn relatable like:
"Why are you so cute?"
We both had the same first impression of Russ.
And like this one's just self explanatory:
"The english major in me cringes at the cracked spine and folded page corners"
Then we have Russ (muffin) Callaghan. Lemme tell you he was teh sweetest cinnamon roll ever and muffin as a nickname was so cute. Don't get me wrong I love bad boys and all but Russ really changed my perspective on that because he was so damn cute and caring and I loved how kind and loving he was. Not him pouring while being grumpy. He was so shy and anxious around aurora like this one scene where Aurora asks him for a secret to which he says:
โYou make me nervous,โ he says eventually, immediately taking a swig of his beer.
โThat isnโt a secret,โ I laugh. โThatโs very obvious.โ
Also another plus point, that guy has DIMPLES. So if you don't like muffin I will be judging you.
The romance was romancing,it had angst and forced proximity and so much cuteness. Idk how I'm still alive but I absolutely loved it.
Now the the thing I want to talk about is *Henry* that man is easily the standard. He paints??? And he's cute and CUTE. I don't think anyone can beat Henry from maple hills and istg I will riot if the next book isnt about him.
*We also got a very weird but a tad bit spicy Henry scene* (very smol tho)

I loved Icebreaker so so much that I was incredibly happy when I got the Wildfire ARC from Hannah Grace and Lovenotes PR, I was over the moon.
Now, it was very different from Icebreaker and not in any bad way. It had so many of the tropes I loved in the first book, such as found family and family shenanigans, spicy times (and yeah, they were hella spicy), well written characters and a lot of humor.
I don't want to compare the two books very much, as they're meant to be different. I do want to prepare the fans of Icebreaker for the way everything else is the same but different. The found family felt less important to the story than in Icebreaker and the angst and miscommunication in Wildfire felt a bit like a setback. While I loved the camping, the gossiping children, the amazing dynamics between the campers and adult, I felt like it needed a bit more depth to the whole plot happening around the main couple.
The main couple was written so good. The backstories were written beautifully and the mental awareness was well incorporated. I loved Aurora and Russ and they are my babies and I loved how sweet and kind Russ was. We need more MMC like him in books.
Overall, I enjoyed it and it was a very good summer read (ironic, since it comes out in October).
Thanks to Hannah Grace, Lovenotes PR and NetGalley for sending me an ARC.
