I loveeeed this book, I really do think that we need more wlw books, they are filled with pure joy. The characters are likeable and you can get lost in their story easily which makes for a very easy read.

Ugh this was the perfect ending for this group.
But let's be honest Iris Kelly was this book. I adored her so much and her growth in this book was 100%.
Stevie however I didn't like. I found her such an character and as someone who suffers from anxiety I really couldn't connect with her and was just fed up about reading about all her meltdowns they were literally every scene she was in.
Stevies friend Ren was a amazing addition to the book and I'm gutted they wernt in more. But they would be perfect for a spin off book.
The ending of the Bright Falls girls was too cute and was great to see how the gang ended up.

This is the third book in the Bright Falls series, I absolutely loved the two books and think the second might be one of my favourite ever romances.
There was lots in this book that I enjoyed, I love fake dating so this really worked for me and I really enjoyed the development of the characters and how spicy this one was but overall this wasn't as enjoyable for me as other books in the series.
Still very much looking forward to reading anything this author writes.

I absolutely loved this lesbian romance. The characters, the dynamic between them and the subject around theater ! Everything was cute and sexy, all perfect to make a very good book. Iris and Stevie are perfect to talk about anxiety disorder and attachement fear. I discover the Bright Fall series with this book and I'll certainly go to read the other books !

Surrounded by friends and family deeply immersed in love, Iris Kelly remains genuinely happy for them, even though she misses having a romantic connection of her own. Focused on her new career as a romance novelist, she finds herself creatively drained after pouring all her romantic energy into her debut novel.
Attempting to distract herself, Iris heads to a Portland bar, where a night of dancing with a mysterious and attractive stranger named Stefania takes an unexpected turn, resulting in the worst one-night stand of Iris's life, complete with regrettable moments involving vomit and tears.
To shift her focus, Iris auditions for a local play, only to discover that Stefania, or Stevie as she's known, is a fellow participant. When Stevie proposes they pretend to be a couple, Iris is taken aback but agrees, hoping it might spark her creativity.
As the two women navigate the charade of being a couple, the lines between fiction and reality blur, leading to a constant state of attraction and tension. The story unfolds with the tantalizing question of who will make the first real move in this unexpected romantic entanglement.
The E-Book could be improved and more user-friendly, such as links to the chapters, no significant gaps between words and a cover for the book would be better. It is very document-like instead of a book. A star has been deducted because of this.
This is a first for me by the author and one I enjoyed and I would read more of their work. The book cover is eye-catching and appealing and would spark my interest if in a bookshop. Thank you to the author, publisher and Netgalley for this ARC.

Thank you for my eARC of this book. I love the bright falls series and this was no exception. This was such a fun read, and although I didn’t love it quite as much as Astrid Parker, I had a great time with this book!

It was so absolute wonderful to revisit this series and I am so grateful to the author, publishers and NetGalley for the ARC. My review is 100% my own and honest.
I love Stevie. Hands down, after finishing this book, all I can think is how much I love Stevie and I wish I could see this on the screen. I love a bit of Shakespeare interjected into my fiction (and have seen quite a few genderswapped Shakespeare productions and they just slap) so it just intrigues me so much and I wish I could see Stevie on the stage. Also reading a realistic portrayal of someone with an anxiety disorder was gorgeous! I resonated with Stevie a lot, as a queer, demisexual with an anxiety disorder she was just everything to me.
And I was so glad we got a book with Iris as the main character. She’s just such a fascinating, wonderful and complex person. Seeing her growth and how she handles what is thrown her way is just glorious.
Plus we get to see the rest of our girls and what’s happening in their lives.
I loved Stevie and Iris’s romance. From their meet cute to the very end, it was fun and cute with just the slightest touch of angst and enough spice to keep it fun. This has actually been my favourite book in the series!

I absolutely loved the first 2 books in the series, and so I was incredibly excited to be approved for this ARC.
I had high expectations for this final book and I have to say, Ashley didn't disappoint, not one bit.
Iris and Stevie's story was endearing and full of love and joy and how to overcome hardships and be your truest self.
I loved getting a deeper insight into Iris' character and I had such a great time reading her story.
Ashley's books always make me feel so many emotions, but in the end, they feel like a warm hug and always make me smile.
I definitely recommend this book and the entire series to anyone who loves romance.

DNF :(
Absolutely gutted that this one didn't work for me. I was so excited for Iris's book!
Stevie was a very difficult character to root for, and the chemistry between her and Iris was none existent. It also felt very telling not showing heavy.
Hopefully this works for everyone else, but it didn't work for me.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the e-arc. Obviously all the opinions are my own

I have thoroughly enjoyed this entire series. Despite encountering some valid criticisms of Iris Kelly, I must emphasize that my reading experience was exceptional. The story was not only humorous, but it also skillfully executed the fake dating trope. Additionally, it had a tantalizingly passionate aspect, yet its core focus was on transitioning from a purely physical connection to a relationship that encompassed romance and profound emotional investment.

I've loved all the books in the Bright Falls series and Iris Kelly Doesn't Date was no exception. The two main characters are so well-drawn, charming and relateable with realistic and believable issues. It's lovely to catch up on the friendship group and the Shakespeare play setting was perfect. Plus it has one of the most giddily romantic endings I've ever read. I definitely kicked my legs a little! Oh and the love scenes are fire. Ashley Herring Blake is easily an auto-buy author for me now.

This was such a wonderful conclusion to this little series - I loved it so much!
I wasn't the biggest fan of Iris in the first book, she started to grow on me in the second book though, and I definitely fell in love with her in this one.
Fun Iris, whose story we got to explore in a lot more depth, who finally got her HAE.
I loved that Stevie was part of her own group of friends, outside of Bright Falls, and we were introduced to more fabulous characters.
Every single character in this entire series has been amazing, the small town setting was perfect, I loved each individual journey, and the last chapter was absolutely fantastic.

I have loved this series so far and the third one did not disappoint. As is to be expected the characters were fun and instantly likeable. The book had a good mix of humour and heart. I loved all of the theatre stuff (as a bit of a theatre kid myself). I also appreciated the talk on anxiety as well as Iris struggling with how she felt about relationships. My only issue was that the resolution to the conflict at the end felt a touch rushed but overall it was a great read.

Iris Kelly Doesn’t Date is the last installment in the connected Bright Falls series. It follows Iris who, like the title says, doesn’t date as she begins a fake dating scheme with Stevie. And we all know how fake dating schemes end in romance novels 💜
I loved this book, it might be my favorite of the three books. I loved Iris as a character and could really relate to Stevie. And as an ex theatre kid I, of course, loved the backdrop of community theatre.
Highly highly recommend this book, and the whole series, if you’re looking for a cute adult, queer romance in a small town setting ✨

I love Ashley Herring Blake's romances so much and this one was no exception! Iris is a fantastic main character and it was so great to get to know her better underneath all of her swagger that you saw in the first two books. Stevie as a character was admittedly not my favourite, BUT the anxiety representation was really wonderful and I did like her character development as the book went on.
I think my biggest issue with this book, is that Iris has been judged her whole life for not wanting to date, not wanting marriage or babies, just wanting to hook up, and she is judged throughout this book for that as well - and yet her story arc is to realise that everyone around her was right and she was wrong? I also wished that Stevie and Iris would just TALK to each other at times.
However this was a great addition to the series, and that end scene made me SO emotional, it was so full circle. It was so great to see Claire and Delilah and Astrid as side characters and their love for Iris (even if at times misplaced) did shine through the pages. I also did really like the grand gesture, which Ashley Herring Blake writes amazingly, it was so wholesome and summed up Iris and Stevie perfectly. And the Shakespearean play added a different level of drama and pining that I loved!

“She both hated and loved it, this romance, this feeling like she was falling, only to have Stevie reach out and catch her.”
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️.5
I CRIED! I am so sad that this is the last of the Bright Falls series, but the ending felt absolutely perfect, tied up in a little bow and decorated with glitter and my tears.
Ashley Herring Blake never misses, I was so excited to get my hands on Iris’s story and it did not disappoint. I have adored every one of these books and love being able to check in on the characters I adored in previous books.
Iris and Stevie were perfect for each other, their chemistry was off the charts and I rooted for them from the page they met, even when Iris was scared and pushed Stevie away, I just wanted to shake her because they were so good together… and the ending?!?! as an artist myself I can tell you that I BAWLED

Ashley Herring Blake never misses with the sapphic rom coms. Stevie might be my new favorite from the bright fall series.

I have read the other books in the series and really enjoyed them.
This does what it says on the tin. A fun story, cleverly written.
Really enjoyed it but must admit the Astrid book was my favourite out of the series.

I LOVE ASHLEY HERRING BLAKES WRITINF AND THIS WORLD!! It’s SO SO GOOD the world needs more sapphic Rom coms

Iris and Stevie own my heart. This book is so lovely and delightful, but also unexpectedly spicy.
I related to Stevie a lot and throughout the book my heart felt so much for her and watching her grow confident was the highlight of the reading experience. I also adored Iris and her growth was so beautiful too. And all of this was surrounded by the fun theater setting which made the romance even more swoony.
Speaking for the romance: I truly adored them as a couple. Iris and Stevie are perfect for each other because they're different but compliment each other. I'm very happy to have read their journey to the HEA. And I'm grateful I got to read it as an ARC.
