Great new detective series!
There has been a murder in a seaside town, and Ashley and her team are brought in to investigate. The investigation leads them to a caravan park, with quirky characters who often do not tell the truth.
A twisty investigation with a great plot which keeps you hooked. The relationships between the characters is excellent too. Brilliant!

A man is found dead in his truck behind a fish and chip shop. Not only has he been murdered but he is the husband of a former notorious criminal who only got out of prison a few weeks ago for dangerous driving that killed a member of the police service. When a body is found at Paradise holiday park which has a link to the first death, DS Ashley Knight and her team have their hands full as everyone around appears to have motive for telling lies one way or another and they are a colourful lot to say the least. Who is doing this and why are the residents of Diamond being targeted?

The characters make this book come alive and I couldn't help but like Ashley and her team- there's a wonderful camaraderie and appropriate humour interspersed. This is the second in the DS Knight series but happily stands alone (the first- Death on Cromer Beach was 5* from me) .This is a wonderful read and one I thoroughly enjoyed- I'm smiling while writing this. Yes it's a crime book but there is real life in there too, a little humour to soften the tone occasionally and even a little potential romance. Ross has a skill of writing that truly brings the characters and scenarios to life to put the reader into the heart of things. A wonderfully entertaining read with a cracking plot, one I thoroughly enjoyed. Can’t wait for the next one!

I've read and enjoyed all of Ross Greenwood's previous books but sadly his latest, "Death at Paradise Park" didn't do much for me. After a promising start to the DS Ashley Knight series with "Death on Cromer Beach" this often had me confused with so many characters and so much going on in both DS Knight's team's personal lives and the cases they were working on that it became a chore keeping up with it all. Set on a caravan site in Hunstanton ,events are such that I was thinking that the characters would have been safer holidaying somewhere like Kabul . I really struggled to finish this even........and as a rule I love Ross Greenwood's books, it was borderline ludicrous in places.

DS Ashley Knight book two.
Some secrets refuse to stay buried.
Wow what a book.
Paradise Park Caravan Site side Hunstanton seaside, as we once again join Ashley and the Norfolk mayor investigation team.
Alfie Vegas delivery driver parked up outside the Hook fish and chip restaurant in Hunstanton, enjoying his meal that come to a gruesome find, it not unusual for him to be there all night so it's the next day before he is found stabbed after his wife Jackie reports him missing, she has only been out of prison three months, for death by dangerous driving and been in possession of a firearm, this is murder and now Jackie needs to be told and questioned. This takes the team onto a wild goose chase, with a lot of suspects involved and plenty of secrets that wont stay buried.

Not saying nothing more on the story that is full of almighty twists I couldn't put it down, really enjoyed this series so far and the characters in work and their private lives, bring on the next one Mr Greenwood, your work and mind is doing what you do best. Loved it!
