Cat Walsh keeps writing the funniest, swooniest books ever, I’ve been anticipating this one since it was announced and it did not disappoint! I positively ADORED Christian and Megan and was so happy to catch up with Andrew and Molly my beloveds as well!! I cannot say one bad thing about this book and will forever read whatever Cat writes.

I just love this cute holiday cover. I am such a fan of the fake dating trope. I loved both their families. Megan was awesome. Christian has that bad boy feel while still being a good guy. I love him. I love their families. I cannot wait to read more by this author. This was such a sweet holiday romance. I TRULY LOVE AND ADORE CATHERINE WALSH'S BOOKS!!!!!!! Snowed In written by Catherine Walsh was honestly the cutest book I have ever read by her, hands down this was my favorite book by this author. This was the easiest five stars I have EVER given out. Christian and Megan are my newest favorite book couple. Since it doesn't really ever snow in the part of North Carolina i'm in, I was so excited to dive into this snowy beautiful book. Don't even get me started on that cover, it is absolutely gorgeous. I won't lie, this book actually broke my heart at times because of what the main characters went through with their past relationships. Snowed In was so snowy, festive, cute, and overall one of the many best books I've read this year. There's absolutely NOTHING I would change about this book, it gave me all the Christmassy vibes I could have ever asked for. The characters weren't perfect in any way, they each had their own flaws, the beautiful country of snowy Ireland just warmed my heart. Snowed In made me kick my feet up in the air so many times, I found myself giggling so much, I even found myself getting misty eyed. I can't recommend this book enough, please do yourself a favor and pick up a copy of this gorgeous book immediately.

Megan is truly dreading going home for the holidays, but her mom asked her to and her brother Aidan is coming home from Australia to spend Christmas together. Megan is the village pariah, and the she devil who left her ex fiance at the alter four years ago. Megan knew she should have canceled the wedding way before their vows were due, but she didn't, so four years ago, Megan got cold feet and booked from her wedding, honestly for the best reason. Megan's ex fiance, Isaac, annoyed me so much. This man was so controlling and wanted everything his way, so of course I cheered Megan on. As Megan returns home, she could really do without the drama and side eyes, but when Megan goes home she runs into Isaac and finds out he's engaged to someone else again. Megan could honestly go without the drama this Christmas season because Isaac is engaged to someone else, and Megan has just been dumped for the fourth time this year. I adored Megan she was literally the sweetest. After being dumped for the fourth time, Megan thought something was wrong with her because she couldn't hold a relationship down, but she put that aside and decided to focus on herself before finding someone else.

Christian is fed up being on his own every Christmas. Christian doesn't mind being alone, but he hates his family's sad puppy dog eyes and soft tones as the rest of his family sits coupled up. in Snowed In we meet Molly and Andrew from Catherine Walsh's previous book, Holiday Romance. Molly and Andrew are so cute. Christian struggles with feeling like he's always a disappointment to his father, this truly broke my heart. Four years after fleeing from her wedding, Megan and Christian bump into each other at a Dublin pub. As Megan and Christian reunite, they come up with a deal to see them through the holiday season. Megan and Christian are going to be the very best fake dates for each other, they are going to act like they are madly in love with each other just to get through Christmas. Rules are drawn up, a contract is signed literally on a wine stained napkin. When a snowed in cabin and a little Christmas magic are added to the mix, anything could happen, it could be very messy, but it could also make Christian realize he's actually in love with Megan. Christian and Megan were so adorable, I couldn't help but root for them both, they just deserve the world. The snow fight Isaac and Aidan had was truly hilarious.

I love Catherine Walsh's writing! She knows how to write romance with plenty of humor, a true romcom author. Snowed In is a dual POV fake-dating Christmas romance. I really enjoyed reading Megan & Christian's story and their flirty banter. Christian is almost perfect and had me hooked from the beginning. They both have some issues to deal with at home and those side plots really added depth to the story. If you've read Holiday Romance, Christian is Andrew's brother. So, we also get lots of Molly & Andrew in this book. I highly recommend reading Holiday Romance & Snowed In if you like Christmas romance books that will make you laugh out loud.
Bonus: If you have KU, you can read both Holiday Romance & Snowed In.

When the two bump into each other (literally!) at a Dublin pub, they come up with a pact to see each other through the holiday season.

Fake dating is probably one of my favorite tropes and this book definitely hit the spot in that regard, especially given Megan and Christian's history. I also appreciated the natural progression and growth of their relationship that led up to the highly-anticipated forced proximity moment. The book tackled tough relationship topics and past relationship trauma in a delicate and informed way, displaying the complications of just up and leaving an abusive relationship.

I thought both Megan and Christian's families were so endearing and enjoyed watching the familial interactions throughout the book. That being said, Hannah's 180 turn toward Megan felt a little rushed and sudden, but I can also appreciate an overprotective sibling. Andrew and Molly's miscommunication also felt a bit silly, but it was such a minor point of the book it didn't take away from the overall storyline.

I wish we could have seen more of Zoe. She felt like a rather large character at the beginning, especially given she was one of the first side characters we are introduced to.

Despite my minor frustrations, I really enjoyed this one and recommend for a fun holiday romcom!

I loved this one!!! This was my first Catherine Walsh book and it was fantastic! I've seen my book bestie, Melanie, talking about this author quite a bit so I had to give this one a shot! Christian and Megan had such great chemistry and banter, even from the very beginning.

Such a great fake dating story. This is one of my favourite tropes because I enjoy the characters uncertainty of whether the other person feels the same way. When they're not sure what's real and what's fake. When all along...the feelings were always real?! I know, cliche, but that's why it's called a trope right? This was the quintesential fake dating Christmas romance. It was perfect, and everything I wanted it to be!

I haven't read Holiday Romance (the 1st book in the series) yet, but I know I will love it as well! I got a glimpse of Andrew & Molly in this book, and I'm excited to learn more about their love story!

Highly recommend Snowed in if you're looking for a cozy holiday read!!!

There’s something super cosy about a festive read set in Dublin. It really gives the Christmassy feels. The writing made you feel as though you were on location and it was picturesque.

I was rooting for Megan & Christian from the get go. Did I predict everything that happened? Pretty much, but it didn’t spoil my experience of the book.

The chemistry between them was ⚡️ and I loved reading through their witty banter, heart felt moments and steamy activities.

The other members of the family had great depth too, I feel like I grasped their characters and the storylines that followed them. I loved Andrews & Mollys twist at the end.

This was a lovely, easy read and I was sad for it to finish. I’m definitely going to give Holiday Romance a read now.

I loved this book!

Catherine Walsh has a fantastic sense of humor and it really shines in this book. The wit and banter in the dialog had me laughing out loud. And the chemistry between the two main characters is excellent.

The setting, holiday vibes, and complicated family relationships added a lot of additional depth and realness to the story.

Snowed In can be read as a standalone, but it does take place after Holiday Romance, and characters in that book make appearances in Snowed In.

I was a little confused at times, mostly because I kept thinking they were Irish yet American. This is not the author's fault, this is my comprehension of basic geographical language. Other than that the book was rather entertaining

i enjoyed this, because i tend to enjoy catherine walsh's writing. she's always a fun writer and i think she has such an ease and likeability about her writing. this is another one where she does the same thing! i enjoy her world, because there's always some warmth and humour and it works really well for a christmas romance. i do think this may be a bit too predictable and i wasn't fully invested in the romance, but it was enjoyable and i think it's a nice, cosy read especially for christmas time!

Thoroughly enjoyable! Highly descriptive and easy to get lost in. Suffered a bit from the predictable trope of fake dating but enjoyable all the same. 4 Stars.

I am so excited that it is finally the season for fun holiday books like this! I was seeking a sweet wintery romance book and this one did not disappoint.
First, it has one of my favorite romance book tropes... FAKE DATING!!! This trope always makes for such an entertaining story. The two main characters Megan and Christian have known each other for years, and when they both need to go home for the holidays, they decide fake dating is the best way to get through it.
The banter between these two was utterly hilarious and I found myself laughing out loud many many many times during the story. Their characters are both super funny and I loved their chemistry. It is also a pretty fast-paced book which makes it an easy read.
I would definitely recommend this book and I think you should read it if you like: holiday romances, fake dating, forced proximity, and witty banter.

"Snowed In" by Catherine Walsh is everything I want for a cozy Christmas romance. It has the big city and a small town, it has fake dating and real romance, and it I wanted to spend another hundred pages with the characters.

I read Catherine Walsh's other Christmas book ("Christmas Holiday"), and loved it, so I knew that I couldn't sleep on starting my holiday reads with another by her. (She is quickly becoming an auto-buy author for me!) This book did not disappoint. The characters felt relatable and I connected with them, cameos from her previous holiday novel brought me back to the sweetness of the MMC's family and the characters I loved from before, and the setting kept me firmly in the holiday mindset--- a must for a cozy Christmas romance.

It was a cute and predictable Christmas themed love story. I personally could have done without the sex scenes...that's just my personal opinion. I don't think it added anything to the story.

Overall it was a fun Christmas read!

Catherine Walsh's Holiday Romance was one of my favorite holiday books in recent memory, so I was very excited to get my hands on Snowed In which follows Andrew's brother Christian. I absolutely flew through this book -- it read very similarly to Holiday Romance where I just could not put it down once I got into it. If you love fake dating and forced proximity, you'll definitely enjoy Snowed In!

The book opens with Megan leaving her fiancé at the altar of their wedding and escaping through the window of the venue where Christian Fitzpatrick catches her but swears to secrecy. Flash forward five years late, Megan runs into Christian at a pub after she's been stood up and they start catching up. Realizing that they're both heading back to their hometown for the first time in years for the holidays, they agree to a fake dating scheme to help the other navigate the trickiness of returning home. Naturally, they start to feel real feelings for each other which only escalate when they get trapped in a freak snow storm at a remote cabin that Christian booked for his brother to stage a romantic proposal before finding out his brother's fiancé hates the woods. It's convoluted but it works!

I enjoyed the banter between Megan and Christian from the start and the genuine friendship they formed throughout the book. I also loved getting to spend more time with the Fitzpatrick family, including Andrew and Molly from Holiday Romance. I wished some of the background for both characters had been explored a bit further, but overall this was very enjoyable!

Well that was the loveliest book I’ve read in a long time. Catherine Walsh has become an instant read for me and this book continues her winning streak. I loved Christian and Megan so much. The chemistry was so spot on that I was grinning the entire time Christian and Megan were in a room together.

The dancing. The knitting. The red coat. The grand gesture. Chef kiss.

Alsoooo. When I read Holiday Romance last year I felt like the Fitzpatricks were the Weasleys. And I felt like that once again reading this one!

A very anusing read from Catherine. Megan who flees her small hometown in Ireland on the day of her wedding has to deal with the prospect of going home for Christmas. She meet up again wit a guy she knows from home and they decide to have a fake relationship while they are home to get their families off their backs.

Snowed In was such the perfect holiday read and it included one of my favorite tropes “fake dating”. I loved the banter between Christian and Megan! Christian is such the perfect gentleman because of the way he looks out for Megan constantly and is always concerned with making sure she is comfortable. I loved each main characters relationship with their families. The closeness, traditions, and banter reminded me of mine!

After starting this book I found out Holiday Romance was about Andrew and Molly’s relationship so I can’t wait to read it now!
