Eddie is a wealthy business man with a good head on his shoulders. He has a wide group of friends and associates he can call on to pursue his enemies and help his country. This book is full of action and so much travel. Eddie and friends go to several countries looking for Russians that are causing chaos in a hunt for missing gold bars. There are some fabulous fights that kept my heart pounding. A good story.
A thrilling suspense novel, The Final Heist: Vengeance on the High Seas was a great mystery. Fantastic characters and plot made this a fun read.

Eddie is still out to get the greedy malefactors who continue to rob, kill, and maim in their hunt for Nazi gold. This book is every bit as riveting as the others! It might be easier to have read the prior books, but I can't testify to that as I read them two years ago and didn't binge read them before sticking my nose in this one. It certainly is a thrill ride with twists, surprises, and fascinating characters. The publisher's blurb is somewhat informative but the writing is so much better than that. It kept me reading into the night!
I requested and received an EARC from BooksGoSocial via NetGalley. Thanks!
Sorry to say, but I only made it half-way through this long novel. The Final Heist has many admirable settings, Paris being my favorite. But ultimately I felt that author John Pearce included too many characters and took such a roundabout way to detailing the story that I just gave up.
Thanks NetGalley for the ARC.
