Everyone processes trauma differently and this book, featuring the experiences of two sisters, does a good job of describing their perspectives and coping mechanisms. It’s such a sad situation and the author handles the content with sensitivity and dignity.

Four stars. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. This book was a well written account of two main characters that are sisters. Their family is complex and relationships strained. I was a bit confused at some points with the proper English language dialog but overall the story of their life flowed.
