A lovely book with lots of information, activities and great illustrations. It would be ideal for any nature-loving child, to encourage them to be curious about and to observe the birds around them.
A lovely book with lots of activities to make ornithologists out of discerning 3-5 year olds.
At only 20 pages, it's cost might put some off but there is a lot of information and plenty of activities so those 20 pages pack a punch. Designed to cultivate an interest in birdwatching from an early age, the RSPB have pitched this perfectly for their target audience and we foresee several homemade bird feeders in our future!
If your children love birds and stickers as much as ours do then you won't go far wrong and they will be all set up for the Big Garden Birdwatch.

Am informative sticker book, great for little minds to learn about the different birds we are lucky enough to see in the UK. The book also offers some crafty ways of looking after birds in your garden, as well facts. Definitely a lovely book for any child to be presented with. Thank you Netgalley
A fabulous activity book and a must have for all budding young birders.
Perfect for growing naturalists, it balances learning and fun with some brilliant pictures, illustrations and interactive activities. From dot to dot, word searches and spot the differences, there’s plenty to keep a young one entertained!
There’s also handy hints and tips for how to spot birds, spaces to jot down your own findings and how to make your own feeders amongst other things.
I always try to participate in the garden birds watches every year and this is a fab companion to have to engage children and make it fun along the way too.
An absolutely lovely book to get children interested in the birds and nature around them. The RSPB runs a Big Garden Birdwatch each year to encourage people to identify and help the birds in their gardens and this book is a lovely way for children to become involved. With games, stickers, ways to identify birds and how to make bird feeders, it's fun and engaging and offers a great way to help children feel more connected to the birds they see every day.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an advance copy in return for an honest review.
