I absolutely love these two - so couldn't wait to read a book created by Hollie and Anna. I wasn't disappointed!
Hollie's gentle, rhyming words set the scene and introduce us to Quinn - Hollie has a wonderful turn of phrase which is incredibly atmospheric. Quinn sleeps on a bench, with his mum and dad, in the middle of the city. No one notices them, they are too busy. When Quinn finds a snowglobe - like none other - snow blankets the city, and as often does when snow falls... everything slows down. The people interact with Quinn and his family, he finds friends to play with - they see him and his family for the first time. But what will happen when Spring is on its way and Quinn realises the snow must make way for the changing of the seasons?
A beautiful book about friendship and community.
Anna's artwork is rich and sumptuous, a real delight,
