I am a huge fan of hermit crabs! I love anything with hermit crabs. This book is a fun story with a great moral. The art in it is fantastic and colorful.
I received a complimentary copy of this book via Netgalley. Opinions expressed in this review are my own opinions.
This is such an adorable book for kids who like animals. The only thing that confused me was why the crocodile was not a predator in the group picture.
Bentley is such a remarkable story about friendship, animals and doing projects with fun. With friends, doing projects will come easy, fast and amusing. This book contains animals you should find too, makes reading the book more interesting.
The cover is wonderful it’s what drew me to the book originally.
This is a sweet story of friendship and working together, which is easy to read and follow along for younger aged children.
The illustrations are very cute to look at also.

What a beautiful cover! I love bright colors and animals so I was immediately attracted to this book and what was inside made me so happy!
The author really succeeded in making this book educational, special and fun.
This really is how children learn best. Fun short lessons, spread throughout amazing books like this one. They will love it!
The story and the illustrations were so cute and well done, and I just loved reading about Bentley, Betty, Mr. Bee and their many animal friends.
I have to admit, I am so in love with these exceptionally beautiful and fun illustrations, as soon as I finished this book, I just started it again.
Thank you NetGalley for providing me with thid arc in exchange for my honest review.
A spectacular, colorfully illustrated story on friendship and helping each other accomplish a fantabulous idea. The love of a pet holds no bounds. With little extra seek and finds added in.
This is a sweet story of friendship and would be a good one for younger children. The text is simple and repetitive and young children will enjoy joining in with the repeated phrases.
There are some cute illustrations throughout the book and it is fun to spot the different animals throughout. A lovely little lesson about working together runs through the story.
This is a cute story about Bentley, a Black and White puppy, and his human Betty, and their friend Mr Bee. They are an inseparable trio, so when Betty has a school assignment that will prevent her from playing with them, Bentley comes up with an idea so that he and Mr Bee can help her.
In the process, Bentley has the opportunity to sing out his little ditty, as Betty snaps smiling photos of all the members of their little creature community, who live on the same block.
The story is simple but appealing, and the illustrations are both adorable and fairly sophisticated. I really loved the latter in particular, and the story is all about friendship and cooperation, so there are some important lessons to be had here. But let me say again, those illustrations!!!
Bentley's Fantabulous Idea is a book made for adults to read to children. Its illustrations are a big draw, and this book includes the cutest bumblebee I've ever seen in my life.
While the text is quite repetitive, it includes rhymes, which makes me think this is appropriate reading material for storytime around kindergarten. It is also designed for an adult to teach a child to name different animals on the page, and to explore the difference between predator and prey species of animal.
Although the text is fairly repetitive, its illustrations and design for the adult-child interaction earn this a solid rating.
Bentley's bestest, not-furry, human friend, Betty, needs help, and Bentley comes up with a great idea. Throughout the book, we are introduced to many different animal friends. This book would be a great addition to a Pre-K and Kindergarten classroom library! They could be used to introduce different animals and what predators are. The story itself is a bit repetitive, but that can be great for little ones because, at points in the story, they would be able to chime in! The illustrations are cute and eye-catching, and this book cover is gorgeous.
