While I believe the intention of this story was supposed to be a clean romance, I felt bored with it. It took a while for me to get into it and even through the end I had to pull myself through.
It felt a little too detailed with things that kind of didn't feel necessary. It did feel chaotic but I believe that was the authors intention.
Loved the christmas vibes and i did love the realistic mentality of the main character, Penny.

Christmas with the Lords is a cute, Hallmark-esque Christmas book. Penny's heart has just been broken by her long-term boyfriend. So she takes a job as a short-term nanny for a family for the Christmas season. Penny is caring for an adorable set of twins, and finds herself falling in love with them....and possibly falling for their Uncle Lando? The story of the Lord family and Penny is sweet but not too syrupy. Penny doesn’t just go from one relationship to another, she takes this time to discover herself a bit and what she really wants and it’s a satisfying story for her.
This was the first book I have read by Hannah Langdon but it won't be the last!!
Like every good story something rings true to the reader. The setting in a major home at Xmas was perfect. Characters were assorted and easy to like ior dislike as they should be! Just a lovely little read
Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie ich dieses Buch bewerten soll, da ich es aufgrund relativ kurzer Ausleihdauer (ohne Verlängerung) nicht lesen konnte.
A brilliant read and one I really enjoyed. The characters are loveable. The plot is one that is engaging and I found myself completely drawn into the story and enjoyed the writing style.
Firstly, this cover is absolutely precious and so sweet!
This is such a sweet, cozy, magical, and romantic holiday romance! Each and every element; from the setting, to the characters, to the storyline, to the plot jumped right off of the page.
The more time Penny and Lando spend together, and the more they get to know one another, their relationship begins to deepen and develop further. Will they be one another's happily-ever-after? You will just have to read to find out!
If you enjoy Contemporary Romance, I highly recommend this book! I look forward to reading more by Hannah Langdon!
Thank you so much to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the ARC of this book, it Is incredible! All opinions expressed in this review are my own.
"Christmas with the Lords" by Hannah Langdon delivers a heartwarming holiday tale brimming with Christmas magic and romance.

With its heart-warming storyline and charming cast of characters, "Christmas with the Lords" is a delightful read that will warm the hearts of readers and leave them believing in the magic of Christmas. Fans of Beth Moran, Donna Ashcroft, and Trisha Ashley will find much to love in this captivating holiday tale.
Christmas I do love, Christmas themed books I also love and this one was a bit of fun and romance to get you in the mood. A heart-warming and feel good read with a bit of romance and that warm and fuzzy holiday feel. Cute, sweet, enjoyable and cosy. Just the sort of book to relax into and enjoy with a hot cuppa on a cold day.
Thank you NetGalley and Storm Publishing for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
Very cute holiday read! I love Christmas romances! Sweet and heart warming and makes you feel like you are watching a cute and cozy Christmas lifetime movie. Thank you for the arc
This was an enjoyable Christmas romance. When Penny suddenly finds herself single after a ten-year relationship while her parents are in India, she impulsively decides to take a short-term job as a nanny for a family she has never before met. While she grows enamored by the children and the family, she is intrigued by the children's uncle Lando. As they get to know each other better, their feelings develop. It's a sweet romance.
I enjoy cozy romances, but this one was very hard to get into. It felt slow in places, and honestly the relationship between the characters felt lacking. And sometimes weird.
I loved this book! It was the perfect Christmas-time read and got me so ready for the holiday spirit. It was a super cute romance that reminded me so much of my favorite Hallmark and cute romance Christmas season movies.
An absolutely peach of a book! Fun characters a plenty wrapped up within a special setting and great storyline. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and would love to read more about the Lords! The writing is warm and witty. A lovely light hearted read. This book is not just for Christmas!
Thank you Netgalley
Perfection in a book. It has everything that I love Christmas, dogs, children and the most adorable romance. I particularly enjoyed how light hearted it felt with hilarious humor throughout.
Amazing book!
I was thoroughly engaged throughout this book and I didn't want to put it down! The author captured my attention from the get go! Five stars from me :)
This was the most perfect and memorable holiday romance book that I remember. I absolutely fell head over heels for this book and for Penny and Lando and all the characters in this amazing story. I will definitely be reading more from Hannah Langdon!

After ten years together, Penny’s boyfriend dumps her just before the holidays. With her parents in India, she decides to take a job as a short-term nanny for a family in Dorset. She’s a bit sad to be spending the holidays away from home and with strangers, but the large manor house that awaits her isn’t what she’s expecting. The cast of characters are delightful and add to the story.
The children’s uncle Lando who owns the manor house doesn’t seem to be bothered by much. Although he does seem to be more engaged with the children since Penny arrived. Penny also ends up agreeing to be Lando’s model for the nativity commission he’s working on. There are sparks between them, but will the uninvited guests that show up for the holidays tamper the sparks?
I enjoyed the characters and their personalities and laughed at the antics of the children more than once. I will be recommending this to others.
Thank you to NetGalley and Storm Publishing for allowing me to read an ARC of this novel. #NetGalley #ChristmaswiththeLords
This book follows Penny, recently single after a 10-year relationship, as she decides to spend the holiday season taking care of four-year-old twins for their slightly eccentric mother, Bunny, in a small town. The family includes recluse Uncle Lando, who spends his days woodworking after a breakdown. Both Penny and Lando are planning to leave the country for a fresh start, but could something new keep them there? The story is gentle and comforting, with larger-than-life characters and a Hallmark movie-like charm. Penny finds herself immersed in the quirky world of the Lords, including the endearing Spanish chef Pilar and the grumpy Uncle Lando, as she navigates her new role and the magic of the holiday season.
This book was so cute and festive. I loved the characters and would love 100 more books on them. Highly recommend!
Fantastic novel, enjoyed every minute of it! Absolutely nothing not to like about it. Such a cute story and great characters. Highly recommend this!
