Great book a little frustrating would have liked the ending to come sooner and enjoyed reading more about where the lead characters go. A follow up is definitely required on this!

Book 3 of The Tuppenny Bridge series, but my 1st and I found it to be really easy to get into so shows you that it can be read as a standalone! Although now I'm excited to go back and read the first 2 in this series for more cosy romance!!

This is a lovely story that centres around past loves and the stubbornness of characters! At the heart of it is Clemmie who loves herself a good book boyfriend - don't we all?! - and who is nursing a broken heart still after many years. So she finds life safer in the pages of the books she reads and writes!

Her ex, Ross, is a painter and has offered the prize of a portrait to be painted so guess who wins it!! Both are really not keen on the idea of having to spend time together again and it makes them both look over what happened to cause them to split, so this was really fascinating to see how the story played out back then.

The stubbornness of Clemmie really is a big problem as she hates admitting when she's wrong, and you really do wonder if the past is stopping them from having a future together. I loved the setting of the story and it was really easy to read and escape in to!

Sharon Booth is a great author and I hoe we are going to see a great deal more of her work. This series is very good with great characters and setting. Well worth a good read and 5 stars.

Not quite the romantic feel-good Christmas book I thought I would be reading, Secrets and Surprises in Tuppenny Bridge by Sharon Booth was a bit of a letdown. A slow start to this book but it is a cute rom-com with a main female character that is a bit whiny at times. I had read the first two in the series and had thought the plot was well-developed in them which is why I was disappointed in this third book.

this was lovely book which drew you into the tales in the English village. the characters and story was a lovely relaxing read.

Very slow book with no Christmas vibes. Clemmie thinks she a know it all and because of this wasted six years of her life. This book reveals a lot in the last few chapters but getting there was hard going. For a small community who claimed to know the goings on about all the residents they failed miserably with the characters of Clemmie, Ross, Ben , Joseph and Dolly .

This is book 3 of 3 in the Tupenny Bridge series. Clemmie is a romantic at heart, but has not found love yet. There are a lot of surprises in store for Clemmie this Christmas, not all good though. I enjoyed this book, Clemmie is lovely. I did not care for Dolly though.

This book felt a little long to me, although I also couldn't put it down. I thought the miscommunication trope was overused and repetitive, but enjoyed learning about each of the characters in this small town and seeing how each story line worked out.

Having read the previous two book, I was looking forward to this one.

I loved the characters, from previous books and new ones in this one.

Both Clemmie and Ross, have been through so much in their lives and those emotions showed in their characters.

The setting was beautiful, giving that Christmassy feeling.

I highly recommend this book.

I really struggled to get into Snowflakes and Surprises, mostly because I just didn't really like Clemmie very much. Her behavior seemed really immature, and I often didn't understand why she was acting the way she did. Having finished the book, I think this was very intentional, but for me it was really off-putting and made it hard for me to enjoy the story. I did like the ending, though.

The perfect uplifting romance book three.
Christmas eve in the village in the valley of West Colby and the home is Wintergreen for Clemmie Grant and her aunt Dolly, and her aunt thinks it's about time she found herself a fella, but she much rather prefers reading her aunts books and running her business the corner cottage bookshop.
She never got over dumping Ross Lavender and after winning a voucher to have her portrait painted by Ross this is going to be so awkward for her facing him again.
I though this book was so fulfilling perfect and wonderful to read for this cosy dark nights to the run up to the holiday season, we a few highs and lows along the way, giving the strong subject of Alopecia make it heart breaking in chapters.
as I was reading I was hoping this couple would rekindle their love for each other once again with no secrets, I wasn't disappointed but it certainly didn't run smoothly throughout the read.
Enjoyed the whole story bringing lots of magic.

Clemmie wins the village Christmas raffle - only to find that the prize is a portrait painted by her ex-boyfriend Ross, a talented local artist, with whom she had split years before and had avoided ever since.
Yet again I've started reading a series part way through, however this didn't affect my enjoyment of the book and I look forward to going back to the start and learning about all the other characters. I liked Ross, however struggled with Clemmie with her seemingly irrational reasons for splitting with him, however as the story developed I began to see her differently. Without giving details I thought that her issue was dealt with very carefully and without judgement. All this is set in the lovely (but cold) setting of Tuppenny Bridge and is an ideal cozy read.
I received an advance copy of this book from the publisher through Netgalley, however this did not influence my review of the book.

There’s nothing I enjoy reading more at this time of year than Cozy Christmas Romance books and this one was perfect.
I loved the Characters and felt they were really well written. I enjoyed the plot but at times wanted Clemmie to grow up a little. I liked that there were other smaller stories inside the main one.
I’m looking forward to reading more about other characters from Tuppenny Bridge.

thought this was a well written book. There’s a lot of stuff going on and secrets come out. I was a bit frustrated with Clemmie and her relationship with Ross. I guess they’re the same age but she acts so immature at times. I wanted to shake her at times
I was expecting more of a holiday story too

This one took a a bit for me to get into because I have not read the first two in the series. I liked the characters in this book after getting to know them as I read.
Clemmie and Ross have been through a lot and I could feel the emotions they were having for each other.
The town was the perfect place for this series. I liked the way the author was able to make the holidays feel while giving me the romance the stories is about.

What a gorgeous heart warmer! This book has got all the elements of a good romance, a flawed but lovable heroine, a dashing hero, misunderstandings, red herrings and of course a happy ending!
I did not expect Clemmie's surprise in the least. I loved the fact that it was an unconventional and modern twist.
I did guess Reuben's surprise and I thought that it was a beautiful end to his tale.
Ben and Ross's surprise confessions were a surprise as just having read the second book in this series, I wasn't aware of a lot of that backstory. It keeps getting added to with every book which develops the storyline. I appreciate that and love the community that has been developed at Tuppenny Bridge.

Ah, a return to Tuppenny Bridge-I have enjoyed this third instalment of village life and returning to old friends. This time it's set in winter and the weather plays a starring role in connecting our love interests - hopefully there's a new instalment soon.

This was such a wonderful, heartwarming story and had such a lovely sense of community too and i really enjoyed everything about it.

It was the perfect book to read while snuggled up under a blanket with a nice cup of tea and a biscuit or two!! Which is exactly what i did!

The story was so easy to read and each chapter gently pulled me along to the next one so that i could find out what was going on!

The characters were all wonderful and i really enjoyed getting to know them all.

All-in-all it was a lovely, heartwarming romance and i thoroughly enjoyed it…..
