Absolutely fantastic book that leaves you gripped from start to finish! I couldn’t put it down and often found myself staying up late delving into chapter after chapter! Perfect reading to cosy up to during winter!

While the premise might feel familiar, the chemistry between Gwen and Logan is undeniable, and the witty banter between them keeps the pages turning. Gwen’s self-doubt and Logan’s unexpected vulnerability add layers to their romance, making it more than just a holiday fling although Gwen can be a bit annoying. The small-town charm of Jasmine Falls and the wedding chaos create the perfect backdrop for this feel-good, emotional journey.
Though the plot is predictable at times, it’s the characters’ growth and the heart behind the romance that really shines. A fun, cozy read for anyone in the mood for a Christmas love story with just the right mix of humor and heart.

This book needs to be a Hallmark Christmas movie, it was such a cute Holiday Rom-com! This was such a fun book to read after Holidays because it gave some nostalgia for love in the Holiday season. We loved Logan the MMC he was everything a good MMC should be in a romance book! He was caring and real, he loved Gwen the way she deserved to be loved. It was a reminder that we should all make sure to accept the love we deserve!

Two characters bond over family trouble and unrealistic expectations. I'm this strangers to lovers, Gwen learns that balance is an important part of life, and that it's ok to not only accept help, but ask for it sometimes. And Logan is her patient teacher, as he navigates family conflicts and learns to stand firm as he forged his own path. With a cast of characters who are mostly delightful, and kisses that'll leave you swooning, this is a great book to curl up with.

I like books that make me laugh, and One Sweet Holiday is definitely a book that did just that. Plus a hunky main character with a Scottish accent? Yes, please. Recommended for collections where romance is popular.

i wasn't too struck on this one.
I didn't really connect with the characters or the storyline. it felt very flat and didn't find myself invested in the story. about halfway through i found myself skimming lines and checking how much longer i had in the book.

This was a cute holiday romance. It took me several tries to get into it, and it was a rough one for me to finish because I felt like the story hit a lull. In the end, I am very glad that I stuck it out and read until the end. The happily ever after was adorable and I will miss Gwen and Logan. Thank you to NetGalley for my ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I tried really hard to enjoy this book but I ended up dnfing it. I didn't like the characters or the writing style

Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read and review an advanced copy of this novel. I highly enjoyed it and will be recommending it to others.

A relatable female main character who grapples with overthinking? As someone who tends to overanalyze everything, I found this book to be a breath of fresh air! Toss in a charming Scottish billionaire, and you’ve got a story that’s hard to resist. It was exactly the kind of read I needed—fun, engaging, and full of those moments that made me nod in recognition. If you’re looking for a delightful escape that balances humor with relatable struggles, this one’s a must-read! Plus Logan was SWEEEEETTTT!!

This was a wonderful book and I'll be purchasing it for the library!

Fake dating - one of my favourite tropes!
A sweet Christmas romance that was a little on the predictable side.
Gwen was a little too self-doubting for me. I prefer when female characters arent always so down on themselves.
Thank you to NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC. All views are my own.

Another great read from Lucy Day. A wonderful read that moved quickly but had great character development. I love Lucy Day and most things she writes, but this would be amazing just starting out as a Lucy Day reader. Thank you so much for the oppportunity to read it!

First book I have read by this author.
Unfortunately, I’m struggling with reading lately so this book took me longer to read than I would have liked.
This was full of sexual tension, but doesn’t go beyond kissing. I really enjoyed these characters, but I kind of figured something was going on between Victoria and Theo.
I felt bad for Logan and the fact that he practically ran away to get away from everything. It sucks that nobody would listen to him besides his brother. I definitely enjoyed the fact that she owned a cafe and baked a lot.
I liked how Logan and Gwen were together. I loved that she never had anybody to take care of her and Logan stepped in and knew exactly what she needed.
Thankfully everyone got a happy ending.

Ich weiß ehrlich gesagt nicht, wie ich dieses Buch bewerten soll, da ich es aufgrund relativ kurzer Ausleihdauer (ohne Verlängerung) nicht lesen konnte.

I adored One Sweet Holiday. It has all the best tropes, a gorgeous setting, and our MMC has a Scottish accent.
This is a warm, gooey book that is perfect for reading by the fire.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with an arc in exchange for this review.
Apologies for my delay, I’ve had a very hectic few months.
I sadly didn’t get very far in this arc before it expired, and by then the holidays were over and I couldn’t really get into it.
