What a sweet & enjoyable holiday romance!
To me, Gwen was so relatable and I feel she would be for a lot of females out there. Bad relationships that make you question everything, not feeling good enough, etc.
I also personally loved that she was a baker, which made the book feel extra hygge.
Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this!

Gwen is a self-doubting baker, enlists the help of charming Scotsman Logan for her sister's wedding. The small-town charm adds humor as their fake relationship turns into a heartwarming journey of self-discovery and unexpected love. Reminiscent of a Hallmark movie, it's a feel-good read celebrating the magic of the holiday season and the beauty of embracing one's true self.

This is the cute story of Gwen, the small-town baker who doesn’t know just how beautiful she is and Logan, the billionaire handsome Scot who is just in town for a short break.
Gwen has her sister Victoria’s wedding coming up when Mark, her fiancé, breaks up with her for being too boring. Everyone in Jasmine Falls SC knows everyone and it’s not long before they all hear about the breakup.
Gwen wants to make sure the focus is on her sister at the wedding, so she asks Logan to pretend to be her boyfriend for the wedding. She believes he’s totally out of her league and he doesn’t understand why she doesn’t realize how great she is.
I really really loved reading their romance unfold and seeing him take care of her. Such a cute sweet romance that reminded me of a Hallmark movie.

This book was a really cute small town type of romance that will make you fall in love with the holiday season. It is a fade to black as well with a dream Scottish man! If you love small town romances where there is mutual pining and lots of inner dialogue of how much they like each other, then I recommend diving head first into this one.

Before picking this book up I was reading a very sad, emotionally draining book. All I needed was a pick me up and this book was what I needed.
A holiday book, fake dating small town romance???? SIGN ME UP!! The book was a very heart warming cosy read. I’m a sucker for fake dating trope and watching our main character and her love interest fall for each-other had me giggling. I did feel like some parts of the plot was slightly rushed but nevertheless a good read for those cold days you’re indoors all cosy. One aspect I really enjoyed was gwen and her sister’s relationship. Having a sister myself I liked the touch it brought alongside the relatability. Relatability something also brought in Gwen’s character. She was just a normal girl with insecurities so many people also deal with, making her easy to resonate with. Also don’t get me started on Logan, we love a supportive king!
Overall loved the characters and writing style. Although some aspects of the plot did feel rushed and predictable, it’s definitely a heartwarming read to pick you up after those rough emotionally charged books.
Thank you to Blue crow publishing and net gallery for the e-arc.

This is such a wonderful story.
Gwen's sister wedding is near with no wedding date but luckily, she meets Logan, the handsome neighbor. For the sake of proving to everybody that she has moved on from her breakup, she fake dates Logan.
The chemistry between Gwen and Logan is hard to miss.
The loving bond between the sisters is very beautiful.
I would like to thank the author for the ARC

Thank you NetGalley and Publisher Blue Crow Publishing for One Sweet Holiday by Lucy Day. I have not received any rewards or compensation for this review and therefore all views and opinions are of my own, the reviewer.
In summary: A Holiday romance story
This is my first book by Lucy Day.
Set in the small town of Jasmine Falls. The main character Gwen Griffin is the owner of her own bakery and busy preparing for her sister’s wedding. When her sister’s fiancé offers the house next door to rent to his friend Logan from Scotland. Logan is running away from his own mess back in Scotland where he stands to inherit a business he doesn’t want to run.
I liked the fact Gwen is a strong character throughout the book. She knows what she wants, she puts her business first and foremost as most owner/ operator would do. I liked the way Logan wins Gwen over during the course of the story. I felt Logan while he was a good character overall, I felt that he was lacking a little in his story arc involving his family. I had thought there could be a bit more depth and colour here to flesh out Logan’s story.
Overall, I enjoyed the story as a whole and felt satisfied with the ending.

Who doesn't love a baking FMC and fake dating holiday read. I didn't realize this was part of s series before starting but it was still enjoyable on it's own. I also didn't realize (my own mistake for not reading the full description) that it was a closed door romance. Not that it was bad but just not usually what I read, but I still enjoyed the overall story and characters.
Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC so I could provide my honest review!

This book was a really cute holiday read. I loved Gwen and Logan together. So much chemistry between the two. What stuck out to me was how many of us have the " I can do it all myself": mentality and before asking for help we wear ourselves down. I was happy to see Logan showing Gwen how to delegate responsibilities as a bakery owner. Will love continuing the series of future Jasmine Falls stories.

This was such a cute holiday read. I have been reading a lot of these this time of year and I really enjoyed this one. First, I loved the characters. I don't always like the instant love trope, but it honestly suited the characters well. Second, I thought this was an original story. I liked that it was set at Christmas time but it can be read any time of year. For an ARC I was pleasantly surprised how quickly I got swept into the storyline. It normally takes a bit of time for me to come around, but this one had me hooked from the beginning. I also didn't realize that this was a part of a series but I love that it works just as fine as a stand-alone. Now I just need to read the other books in the series.
Thank you NetGalley and Blue Crow Publishing for the ARC.

This was a slow read for me and I couldn't put my finger on why. This fell into the category of very few holiday reads that I don't enjoy. Sometimes rom coms and I just don't connect even though they are my most favorite genre of book and movie.
It wasn't a bad read - I just had a hard time liking the characters.
Gwen was really frustrating which almost made her endearing. Logan was Logan. I didn't like him hiding who he was even though I understood it. The families were irritating, but they are supposed to be. I loved Gwen's friends SO MUCH! I think I'm just an outlier on this one.
I really loved the descriptions of the holiday activities in Jasmine Falls and I wish I lived in a small town like that.

This is the first book I have read by this author and it makes me want to read more of this series. Very sweet and romantic, a perfect book for a rainy day.

3 Stars! Thank you, to the publisher, for this eARC via Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion!
The story touches on love, fake dating and more with a holiday twist. I really enjoyed getting to know Gwen and Logan. Overall, the story was cute and not too cheesy. Plus I am a sucker for holiday themed storylines.
I would definitely recommend it to those who enjoy contemporary romance.

I gotta tell you about this awesome book called One Sweet Holiday—it's the third one in Lucy Day's Jasmine Falls Love Stories series. I was totally hooked, I'm on a mission now to grab the first two books in the series!
Picture this: a fantastic holiday rom-com in a small town called Jasmine Falls, South Carolina. It felt like home right from the get-go. The characters, especially Gwen and Logan, were so cool. I loved their fake-dating adventures and the opposites-attract thing they had going on.
Lucy Day painted this vivid picture of the town; it was like I was right there. And let me tell you, the character interactions were a riot. Gwen and Logan had me grinning from ear to ear throughout the whole story. I love how easy it is to just get hooked and finish it quickly, especially since it's Christmas + Winter season now, just fit-in perfectly with the theme of the book! So if you're into charming small-town vibes, cute banter, and the whole opposites-attract deal.
I totally recommend checking out One Sweet Holiday and the other one if you're into heartwarming, laugh-out-loud romances. Huge thanks to NetGalley and Blue Crow Publishing for letting me dive into these books before they hit the shelves! <3<3

This book got me out of a reading slump. I loved everything about it.
I loved the sister bond between Gwen and Victoria, Logan offering help in the form of skills not money and the support and encouragement Logan provided.
I couldn’t recommend this book enough.

This book was so cute! It’s a perfect holiday read. I didn’t share this review in depth on my bookstagram account, but I did share it with my community on the attached post.
With most romance novels, and holiday books as well, you typically know what you’re going to get, so it’s a true art form to engage the audience all the way through. I loved the characters. I loved the romance arc, and I loved how it all wrapped up in the end!
This is such a great book and will remain on my holiday recommendations for next year!

This was such a feel good holiday read and one I just had to fit in before putting Christmas behind me for another year!
I adored our main character Gwen, she was so relatable! From her clumsiness to her witty comments, I found myself chuckling as I could definitely see myself in some similar scenarios.
Fake dating is one of my favourite tropes and this had an element of this however, it was more like real dating when you read from both perspectives and can see their true feelings from the very beginning.
The only thing this book was missing for me, was more of Logan and Gwen’s relationship. I wanted a little more excitement but enjoyed reading.

I think this book was middle of the road for me. I have never read anything from Lucy Day before, although I think I have heard the name. I do think reading this in January rather than during the Christmas time did affect me a bit, since I am so over Christmas at this point (lol). Should I have read this in December, I could see how this could have been a good cozy read, but it just wasn't what I was looking for at the moment. The characters were cute, though, and the relationship was, too. It was well-executed, but not something I would ever read again.

This was a sweet instalove romance. Loved Gwen and wanted to punch her mom!
Thanks Net Galley for the temporary ARC to review. These thoughts are my own.

I unfortunately do not remember how this ended. I do however remember loving the idea of this, but the FMC rubbed me the wrong way, as did her sister and the rest of her family. It was frustrating, the way she was treated, but I understand the importance of it to the plot. It was enjoyable, but not entirely memorable for me.
