🅱️☘️🏈The Glory of ‘86: The Year Boston Ruled the Sports World🏈☘️🅱️

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5

The Glory of ‘86 is a fast paced look back at 1986 in Boston sports featuring championship runs of the Patriots, Celtics, and Red Sox. Tom Van Riper did a nice job of intertwining the three stories and making them flow well, jumping from one to another in a smooth and well done fashion.

I had some knowledge of the 86 Red Sox from a previous read that detailed the Mets championship season, but I learned a ton of new and interesting tidbits from this book. Most people reading a book like this know a fair amount about the Celtics but I really enjoyed the parts about the Patriots as my understanding of them was the least of the three.

This book was an advanced copy provided by Rowman & Littlefield Publishers and NetGalley in exchange for my honest and fair opinion. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in either of the three sports detailed in this book. This was a very quick and easy read but still did an awesome of job of not leaving out important and interesting details.
