Me and my children read this book. With all the characters within. It's about a baby dragon that want to find his family. He go off on an adventure to do this. But end up finding something else instead.
This was a fun story to read. It had action and adventure throughout. There were a few giggles within. The illustrations went well with the story and were colorful.
I received a complimentary copy via Netgalley. This is my honest unbiased opinions.
Cute pictures with a funny story. The dragon was adorable and all the kids were playing dragons for the afternoon.
Interesting book to read for your kids during bed time story. What a cute dragon. Love the illustration in this book. Its look so magical and surely kids will amazed when read it with the cute things inside.
Commendably done, this pleasant-and-then-some story in verse is of a dragon who just yearns for a proper name, his parents having vanished before they could bestow it. The lack makes him go off on a quest-styled journey, and once he's done good deed after heroic act after gentle piece of kindness it's obvious he has qualities that just must form part of his name – as we ought to, ourselves. Bold colouring but with great quality in the visuals, a very easy to read (and read-out) narrative and of course the simplicity of the moral all make for this to be worth investigation. A strong four stars.
I loved the Baby Dragon getting cured of cold story. This story is cute too where he learns who his family is. Baby Dragon sets out on a journey and meets good friends whom he helps with some magic involved and they help him on his quest of his origins.
This was really cute. It’s about found family being the only family you need. It’s about being kind and gentle and learning who you are. The illustrations are really fun and while this book does look self published, It’s like the best side of self published. This is apparently a second book and I really would like to read the first one. This book was fun and gorgeous and full of heart.
"Baby Dragon Finds His Family" is a sequel that explores themes of belonging and kindness. Through a quest for his true family, Baby Dragon aids mythical beings, learning that family transcends bloodlines and is often found in friendship and shared journeys. Sheryl Bass weaves these lessons into rhyming verses, complemented by Remesh Ram’s colourful illustrations. This book is suitable for children aged 3-7, and an apt story for any bedtime reading collection.
My thanks to NetGalley and publishers for a copy of this book in exchange for a review.
Baby Dragon Finds his Family was just as lovely a story as Baby Dragon's Big Sneeze (the first book). It's a lovely story where the dragon goes off to find off to find his family but along the way on his adventures he finds out his family is where he had been with all the villagers. The pictures are beautiful - my daughter's favourite character was either the fairy or the unicorn and my son's was the dragon of course.
This story is perfect for small children.
Yay for GORGEOUS full color illustrations - extra points for rhyming and bonus points for being so darn cute!!! Baby Dragon Finds His Family is the story of a baby dragon looking for his family (literally). This sweet little friend felt different from the get go and hefinds he is already among "Family". Gareth has his trusty friends and they help him along the way. This was beautiful book!! Thank you to Netgalley, BE Kind Publishing and Sheryl Bass for the opportunity to give an honest review in exchange for a digital copy of this sweet little book.
My grandkids loved the story of baby dragon finding his family. The were entertained and engaged in the story the entire time.
I thought the story was cute and I loved the illustrations.
I will definitely be adding this book to our home library.
This is a fun, sweet children’s book about a baby dragon who wants to find family. So he sets off on an adventurous journey to seek family and makes friends along the way.
It is a good lesson on the importance of family and friendships and relationships as a whole
I would like to thank the author the publisher and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read an ARC of this book. It is a fabulous book for children and I will be recommending it to everyone I know.
Baby Dragon Finds His Family is a fantastic sequel to Baby Dragon's Big Sneeze, which teaches about the nature of family, the importance of friendship, and the value of found family.
The story is about a baby dragon who wants a family and the adventures he goes on to find them all the while helping others and making friends. The illustrations were beautiful and the message is especially important in light of global events.
I highly recommend this book, it is both beautiful and heart-warming!
Little Dragon wanted a family, one he couldn’t destroy with his hiccups. It was an adventurous and fun journey where he got to help others and made new friends along the way. It was a wonderful and adventurous story, a delightful story for your kids.
This was a really cute story. I enjoyed the artwork a lot! It looked so magical and beautiful. I think my toddler would enjoy looking at the pictures.
Very good book. So cute and such a great message. I know my daughter will love it and so will my niece. The illustrations are amazing. I highly recommend this book.
I was so happy to discover, quite by accident, that this book is the second in a series, the first book about Baby Dragon being one that I had already reviewed earlier.
This is a delightful and very engaging follow up, which features some adorable illustrations alongside important messages about the nature of family, the importance of friendship, and the value of found family.
I think it is a wonderful story for young children and look forward to more of the same.
This book was so cute. I loved all of the colorful artwork and how cute the baby dragon was. I always find reading books that flow and rhyme are much more fun to read aloud to my kids. I love the idea of helping out strangers you meet along your path.
Loved this book! This is a sequel to "Baby Dragon's Big Sneeze", which I haven't read yet. This book however, you can read without knowing the first book.
I loved the illustrations! They were bright and helped to tell the story. The message was great as well. Your family isn't always just D.N.A and blood. It is a lot of the times who helped you along the way and were there with you.
I loved this so much, I will probably buy the book, and the first book as well.
This was cute. I enjoyed following the dragon on their adventures, and the poem was adorable. The illustrations were also incredibly fun and vibrant.
I struggled with the way that the pdf was set up on my kindle, but that won't be an issue for a non-arc, I'm sure.
