I never knew that I would love a medical romance so much as this! I should have known to be honest because I love gray’s anatomy and this provided my fix, I am obsessed!

Essentially it is a work place romance and their job roles provided the adrenaline rush. Second chance romance/he falls first. The FMC went through a traumatic event and was about to tell her manager that she couldn’t come back to work when the MMC comes along and shows care and compassion to help her gain the confidence to come back to work. They go on a Christmas adventure together, the whole story really warmed my heart.

It was a fast paced Christmas romance which was cute from beginning to end, I will definitely be looking for more medical romances from Mills and Boon.

Nikita went through a traumatic situation last christmas and its left her unable to do her job but the call of medicine is never truly gone. Then an old face from the past arrives and maybe he can help her find her passion and herself again.

Aww this was such a good story. I do love a medical romance and one set at Christmas makes it even better. Its a really well detailed story focusing on their work as well as the romance. We even get a little dramam thrown in. I like that it didn't make light of Nikita's pain and focused on her finding her strength again. The ending was just perfect for the story. A sweet festive read.

This was a slight story but very enjoyable. It would be nice to read snuggled up in the warm over Christmas when you only have a short time to yourself. The back stories for Nikita and Pedro were believable and they were clearly meant-to be in the timeframe of the story. Heartwarming.

Who remembers when they were young a collection of mills and boom books in their house or even their grandparents? I do! I must admit I’ve been wanting to grab a mills and boon book for a long time and when I saw this available as an arc i requested it straight away!

If you are looking for a cozy christmas, second chance romance this one needs to be on your list!
If you love a medical setting, a fade to black romance, a true gentleman and a HEA … you’ve picked the right book!

A quick, light, easy read and perfect for those Christmas nights!

It may have been my first Mills and Boom but won’t be my last!

This is a really lovely, emotionally satisfying story. I liked both characters - Pedro was a delightful, kind hero and Nikita a clever, damaged heroine.

The book touches on serious issues, PTSD. Loyalty, friendship and love. A very enjoyable read.

Healed by a Mistletoe Kiss is a festive medical romance novel by Alison Roberts.
This is the first novel that I have read by the author and it definitely won't be the last.
The novel follows Nikita, who is a trauma surgeon, who leaves her job to get some space from her demons. Her temp placement is a blast from her past, Pedro. She once again feels drawn to him and finds it difficult to keep away.
This is the perfect novel to curl up with on a cold night. The story was easy to follow and Nikita & Pedro's chemistry is steamy. A brilliant novel that I highly recommend.
❤️ Thank you to Netgalley, Mills and Boon and the author, Alison Roberts for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.

A very moving romance. The trauma of Nikita being in a bomb blast and captured is well described as is her PTSD. Nikita is kind and gentle and has a plain and empty life. Through flash backs to university Pedro comes to life too with all his hardship. The patients are all made real and the charity work at Christmas is icing on the cake.
