I loved the plot and the characters in this book - especially Bobby - he was my favourite 🫶🏻. I also loved how I was second-guessing myself and found myself not being able to trust many of the characters.
However, at certain points throughout the book (mainly the first half), I found myself to be quite bored and thought some of the dialogue was repetitive and dragged on quite a bit. That being said, I did enjoy the twist at the end, and I couldn't wait to read on so I could find out what actually happened to Joy. My guess was right, but I'm not giving away any spoilers! 🤐🤫

The two world’s of Joy the social influencer and Matty the junkie who squats in an abandoned house in Brighton couldn’t be more different. Joy is missing and only one person knows if she is alive or dead and how she was murdered. Matty!
Loved this book, started off quite slowly but entertaining enough to keep me hooked. So so close to FIVE Stars.
Thank you Storm Publishing and Netgalley and D E White.

Joy is a social media influencer who disappears one day. The police and her massive fan base search for her with no success. This is a book that I can’t say much about without spoilers. It’s a great book with intertwining plots. There are lots of twists and secrets.

For me the main twist was evident from fairly early in the book but the character development and the way the story was fed out through the very disparate groups of Joy's wealthy family and the darker underworld of drugs and abuse that Mattie exists in was extremely well done.
There are red herrings throughout, even if you theorize some things correctly there will be others that take you by surprise!

So this book is one of those reads that you go along thinking one thing then it all gets turned on its head half way through and then it all gets turned around again at the end. I never knew who was telling the truth which I love and it’s not often a book truly keeps me guessing. I loved this book.

This was an enjoyable read with plenty of twists and turns all the way through. The characters were good, the story itself was suspenseful and the style of writing was perfect. I have read other books by this author before and I have enjoyed them all.. looking forward to the next one out. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes reading psychological books.

Another twisty page turner from D E White. Just when I thought I’d worked everything out, another plot twist appeared.
As with D E Whites other titles, this book was read in two nail biting sittings as I didn’t want to put it down..

Fabulous thriller that grabs you at page 1 and never lets go,
Prepare for a roller coaster thriller of a read with a twist that will leave you breathless,
Joy Maddison, a famous podcaster disappeared while out on her evening jog exactly five years ago,
leaving behind a wildly successful career, husband and small children.
Presumed dead when no trace of her surfaced again.
Or has it now, 5 years later??
The story takes off with whispers of her possible resurfacing and what could possibly be her tie to a
drug addicted homeless woman with recurring drug and alcohol fueled flashbacks to Joy's car and
last seen location,
Great story with good, even movement between the "then" and "now" segues.
White hits a home run with intrigue and suspense.

Slow to start but did build to a good solid thriller……..too repetitive in places with character talking etc but that aside was immersive enough for me to quickly read these parts and move on to the next bits
A good ending, altogether an intriguing read

I decided to read just one more chapter before going to sleep, but instead I finished the book because it was too hard to put down.
The plot is intriguing, the characters are relatable, but the pace is a bit slow. It is definitely a story that will play mind tricks on you - my favorite kind of book.
The book centers around a popular influencer, Joy, who disappeared five years ago without a trace. When a possible sighting of her surfaces, new questions arise.
If you like suspense, twists and an abundance of drama, I would definitely recommend this book. My rating is 4 stars and I’d like to thank NetGalley and Storm Publishing for the advanced copy.

What a fantastic thriller this was! It was not an easy read, not gonna lie, as in it needed a lot of concentration cos if you blinked you missed something but it was captivating! It took me a while to properly get into it but once I did I could not wait to find out what was going to happen. Would definitely recommend if you like thrillers, it keeps you on the edge of your seat

This started out depressing and disturbing. Then it took a turn and I couldn’t put it down. There were so many questions throughout the book—unfortunately the ending answers didn’t do them justice. Some made sense but others came from left field and were unbelievable. Still, it was a good read!

You know her was a very gripping read which had me guessing until the very end. Every time I thought I had sussed it out bang another twist which I wasn’t expecting. This was a fantastic who done it thriller which had a bit of everything. I will definitely be looking out for more books from This author and I will definitely be recommending this to others great read.

You Know Her started slow but I stuck with it. Glad I did - the twists and turns throughout the book made it worth it (and the ending was perfect!)
The book was longer than it needed to be (lots of unnecessary internal dialogue and the characters were not very likeable!)

You Know Her by D. E. White
Five years ago, during a sweltering summer heatwave, perfect wife and mother Joy Maddison set off for her usual evening run – and vanished without a trace.
The final video of Joy, posted online by her devastated husband, has been viewed over a hundred million times. In the last frame she smiles for the camera, waves and says, ‘See you later, my darlings. Love you all!’ . before turning to open the gate to the woods.
I was taken with this book from the first chapter . I've read many , many books on this type of genre but I felt this one was a little different from the rest
It would also make an excellent t.v. series .

You Know Her is a gripping thriller that kept me guessing. From the beginning, the clues slowly revealed themselves, but just when you thought you knew what had happened you'd be back to guessing again. There were events in the book that didn't seem plausible, but the pace and twists of the plot definitely lend itself to movie material.

I really enjoyed this book overall, it definitely kept me hooked throughout. I would love to read more books by this author in the future and I would recommend this book.

Joy, a popular influencer disappears without trace for five years.
There are reports that she was seen in Spain, but investigations came to nothing.
Mattie is a drug addict, living in a squalid building, and she is the image of Joy. She has no memories of her life before she became homeless.
I did enjoy this book, but it was a little drawn out.
It was suspenseful, and apart from Joy, Bobby and Lucy, the characters weren't likeable at all.
I suspected quite a few of the characters of trying to get rid of Joy, but it was only close to the end that I actually realised who was responsible.
I did feel a deep dissatisfaction for the motive to get rid of her. Did not quite ring true for me.
3/5 stars from me.

Well I did not see that coming! I really enjoyed this and found it a pretty quick and easy read. Some parts are a bit repetitive but other than that, it had all the makings of a really captivating story. There were so many twists and turns, I had no idea who to trust and who was lying, there is so much suspense and tension that I couldn't get to the end quick enough. Possibly if we start to overthink it then you'd have a lot of questions about hoe it plays out and why the characters didn't make better choices but I'm all about enjoying it for what it is and leaving it at that. Really good read

Well that was totally different for me!! Wow! Great read! This book definitely had some crazy stuff going on! It had suspense, intrigue, action, murder, mystery, gas lighting, kidnapping, serial killers, A fantastic who done it that I did not see coming at all! Great plot twist and some really crazy twists and turns! The storyline was crazy interesting and had me glued to my Kindle! I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one! I highly recommend reading this book as it was well worth reading! Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for sharing this book with me! Definitely a different but fantastic read!
