I didn't know there was so much more to Chinese astrology & I find it interesting. Almost all the women on my mom's side were born in an Ox year until I, a rat, came along. Now my daughter is a rat as well! It did seem like of the descriptions were unbalanced, but maybe a second book could go into more detail to fix that. Mine was accurate until it said I love hot weather. Ha! I would love to look deeper into my chart though & I can use this book to do some of it

I had a lovely time with this primer on Chinese astrology and learned so much more than just my zodiac animal, which was refreshing. I want more! I hope this author creates more, longer works on the topic. This was easy to read and understand, especially with the examples. I had no idea there was so much more to my birth chart, but of course that made me want to figure out my own or find a resource to help me completely decode mine, which this book was lacking. It's probably too much to get into in a short intro book, but I hope future works cover this. As it is, I loved learning about my Wood Rat tendencies!
