Waiting For Christmas is a holiday story written in classic Cynthis Eden style. Perhaps a bit more lighthearted than some books written by Ms Eden but like them in many ways. There is the damsel in distress but not necessarily hopeless, more in over her heard. A true alpha man in this case a surgeon who is also part of a Special Operations Surgical Team. He has the medical training along with the combat training too.

A fun story where best friend’s older by one year sister realizes little friend is not so little anymore. A whole scene on that part which is pretty funny if the heroine wasn’t scared of the danger following her. Danger which is part of the mystery, wide open door bedroom door scenes and friends who have your back when push comes to shove are all there too. All within a Christmas story. Enjoy the novella today.

An ARC of the book was provided by the publisher through NetGalley which I voluntarily chose to read and review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Wyatt Roth has been in love with his best friends sister for years. When she comes to him for help he finally has his chance.

He was shaking his head because…Is Christy really here? On my doorstep?

Christmas “Christy” Sharpe has a stalker. She comes to her hometown to get away.

She’d been half delirious the previous night. So…so he’d maybe looked like some awesome Greek god come to life.

There is some serious suspense and as always a alpha protector ready to do anything for the women he loves. A quick Christmas short you won’t want to miss.

Wow! That was awesome. I love a good Christmas read and they’re hard to find. This was good and sweet and steamy and well written. I’m picky about novellas and this didn’t disappoint. Wyatt was sexy and fiercely committed to her. It was awesome. Christmas was lovely and I’m still smiling. Loved the intimacy and kisses. But besides this being a great romance it also had a great story plot. I was hanging on every word and I loved the ending.
I recommend this book!

Waiting For Christmas by Cynthia Eden
Wyatt Roth has been in love with his best friend Forth Sharpe's sister Christmas "Christy" forever. She has always seen him as her "little brother's" best friend. Well, she has a stalker, and he is all grown up. There is angst, danger, fear, some laughs and tears, discovery, misunderstanding, and plenty of steam to get us to a wonderful Christmas HEA.
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Happily Ever After Action-packed Entertaining Informative Steamy Funny Wonderful characters Page-turner Romantic Tear-jerker Easy-to-read Tragic Scary.

Waiting for Christmas is a fast-paced, novella-length standalone. A wonderful gift of a book which has everything I love in a holiday-themed story: wonderful characters, family, friends, heat, both sugar and spice, the trappings and feels of the season and a fitting HEA. Of course, the author being who she is, there's an added element of danger and suspense, which adds to the pace and had my pulse spiking and the adrenaline flowing. A great addition to my keeper shelf and I can only hope that the mainy awesome side characters will get their own happy endings!
