This is quite a fast paced book that had my attention throughout. I’d highly recommend reading this book, great for keeping your interest sparked.

One day while making breakfast Lee’s son comes downstairs to tell her that three boys in this class Dylan Alfie and Mo are missing it seems they spent the night in the tent next to Dylan‘s house and when Dylan‘s mom woke up he was gone. The cops arrive soon after telling Lee that one of the moms Shannon whose house they slept that wanted to see her since she had been through it before. This will begin Lee’s new friendship with Shannon while Shannon and she tries to find the boys but things start to turn weird when one of them is returned and the culprit is someone Lee would’ve never thought it to be. This is the second book of the sleepover series it was way better than I thought it would be if you enjoy a book with twist interns then after the sleepover will definitely be one you would like. They have some big surprises but not bigger than the ending I truly enjoyed this book. This is the sequel to Wilkinson’s first book and it did not disappoint. I was glad I had read the other, because it really doesn’t provide all of the backstory. The writing was fabulous. Taking many directions and giving you false clues! I highly recommend!

As someone who just learned that this is actually a sequel, it's still an incredible read as a standalone! I really loved Wilkinson's writing style which was fast-paced with the perfect amount of suspense to have me finish this one in two sittings! I really loved Leah's character and her development throughout the story - that being said, this plot is every parent's worst nightmare. I've already checked out the first book from my local library and look forward to reading more from Wilkinson - thanks so much for the ARC!

I've read a few books by this author now and really enjoy them. You could read this as a standalone book, but I would recommend reading The Night of the Sleepover first as that will give some important back story about Leah.

Although I had an inkling of where the book was going I still really enjoyed it. Four stars from me.

With her own troubled past looming over her, Leah is determined to uncover the truth about what happened to Dylan, Alf, and Mo. As she delves deeper into the case, Jennifer, Dylan's devastated mother, reaches out to Leah for support, and they form an unlikely friendship. But as secrets are revealed, can Leah trust Jennifer?

The pieces of this puzzle don't quite fit together, and the search for answers uncovers some uncomfortable truths. Although the ending felt rushed, perhaps it leaves room for another installment in this gripping tale.

This was a great read! I didn’t realize this was a 2nd book but I read it anyways and now I will be reading the 1st book. I’m excited to read more books by this author, I really liked her writing style.

A great read and an excellent sequel to The Night Of The Sleepover (though you don't need to have read that to enjoy this). A brilliant look into the twisted minds of people and what they will do to protect their own.
As usual the author doesn’t disappoint and always manages to raise a wry smile with his observational writing style. I’m hoping that there will be more in this series as Leah and her secret’s have much more to give.

I really enjoyed this book, especially the twists and turns which added to the suspense throughout.

The first time I have read this Author but I enjoyed the style of writing. A solid four star read. Great premise. Good characters. Page turner. Plenty of suspense to keep me guessing Would definitely read the next novel. Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the chance to review it.

Knocked it right out of the park! I loved the first book and the second also did not disappoint. A secret reeled voyage into the dark secrets people keep. Full of twists and turns this one keeps you on the edge of your seat.
Terror and despair reign throughout. This one of of those rare books were one of the good ones…. Is bad. And the way that messes with your head and heart gives this book a unique depth like no other.

I was so excited to read this, the follow up to “The Sleepover”.

It was really well written with plenty of twists that kept me guessing all the way through. I was really intrigued as to how this was going to play out as we already knew what happened to the three missing girls 25 years ago, and we knew that Leah knew, but the crime has never been solved by the police. So it was super tense as she was brought reluctantly into the investigation by Jennifer, the mother of one of the missing boys and the host of the sleepover where three boys disappeared without a trace.

Kerry Wilkinson never lets us down and this was another cleverly thought out and engaging plot that grabbed my attention immediately and took me on a fast-paced rollercoaster of a ride!

Three teenage boys camped out in the backyard, but come morning, their tents are empty and the boys are nowhere to be found. The mother of one of the missing boys was Leah’s classmate in school, and before she knows it, Leah is embroiled in the latest investigation.

This one picks up right where The Night of the Sleepover left off. Do you have to read the first book before you read this one? I guess not technically, but it doesn’t make a good standalone, as you won’t get the full effect or understand some of the references (“takes one to know one”) if you don’t. The author never spoils the twists of the first book, but that may make the reader feel a bit puzzled if they haven’t already read it. Like Book #1, After the Sleepover is definitely a slow burn but the pacing is more even with more action/twists sprinkled throughout the plot. It held my attention and the ending was pretty clever. If you enjoyed the first book or are a Kerry Wilkinson fan, you’ll want to read this sequel.

This was an intriguing sequel to The Sleepover, though I feel that it could be easily enjoyed as a standalone as well.

Amanda, the mother who hosted the campout immediately pleads with police to contact Leah and bring her over. Not that they’re necessarily friends, but who else could possibly understand this scenario other than someone who has survived it.

This is book two of the Sleepover series and reading book one The Night of the Sleepover is mandatory! This latest basically dove-tails into where the previous book left off.

I always enjoy Kerry Wilkinson’s writing and this was no exception. If you’re looking for a short, thrilling series, here you go!

What an amazing follow up to the first book.
Leah is a very interesting character who has a lot to hide. Her getting involved in this new missing persons case was not what she wanted at all but was forced into it. And boy did she have the wool pulled over her eyes.
I knew something was a bit off with Jennifer and Dylan but I wasn’t sure what.
Great surprising ending and potential for another follow up book too I think.
Loving this series from this author so far.
