My daughter read this book at bedtime tonight and she loved it

When she reads a book and it really keen to read the next page and see where the story goes, that is always going to be a hit with me as a parent.

I love the kind of books that keep her entertained and guessing. With this one she was giggling and commenting as the story progress and that is what I love to see and not only is she reading a story that she is enjoying, it is helping her develop her reading skills too.

It is 5 stars from me for this one - it is a fun story with some great illustrations too

This is a delightful upending of the classic tale of a knight saving a damsel in distress from a dragon. We follow a clueless knight attempting to follow directions to find a dragon as he ignores all the signs he should be paying attention to. I love the historical language this introduces to young readers, and the plot is sure to produce some sweet giggles.

had so much fun reading this book, the story is so adorable and the illustrations were so well done and charming, there’s so many little details in every page that I couldn’t stop but be mesmerized by it all. I will definitely be recommending it! Thank you netgalley and the publisher for this early copy

A fun book about a clueless knight who goes looking for a dragon to fight. I wish the princess at the end had more of a role or there had been more plot, but it was cute overall!

As I read this hysterical picture book about a clueless knight and a very smart princess, I could imagine a child giggling as a parent read it aloud. The illustrations capture the silly action perfectly. If you look closely, you’ll end up seeing what happened to the Princess and the knight’s horse. In addition to a marvelously fiery dragon, savvy readers will spot a wide variety of other characters in the background.
