Very adorable book about a little duck try to find his place in the world, I enjoyed this cute story and the adventures that took place. Thank you NetGalley for the ARC and an opportunity to review this book.
This story is entirely too long. It feels more like a story that should be told than a story that should be read. The illustrations are lovely, but it’s a fight to get to the end and the illustrations are not enough to redeem it.
Great book for children teaching them how to make a difference and be themselves! Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest feedback!
A great read-aloud book for older kids. Teaches a beautiful lesson about being yourself and making an impact on the world.
Little Mahdi is an adorable duck who is out to find his place in this world. He sets out on his own and seeks the help of several of the other pond animals asking to help him belong. This was an adorable story. The story helps children realize we each have our own unique place in this world and we just have to discover it for ourselves. Your family will enjoy reading this heartwarming adventure together. Great to open up conversations about how everyone belongs, no matter what.
Enjoy this meaningful adventure. I just reviewed Little Duck by Hadiyah Schwartzman. #LittleDuck #NetGalley
I enjoyed this beautiful book. The illustrations are really well done and the story line is not only a good story but a great message. My kids loved following the duck's journey to self discovery. I will say it was a little long for my toddler but not enough that he didn't enjoy it.
Thank you so much to the author and Netgalley for the opportunity to review this title. I received this ARC for free and am leaving my review honestly and voluntarily.
A delightful children's book that combines a heartwarming story with valuable life lessons. Young readers will instantly connect with Mahdi, the adorable duckling, as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery and acceptance. The book's simple yet engaging narrative, coupled with charming illustrations, makes it a perfect choice for bedtime reading.
Prepare for cuteness overload, folks, because Little Duck is the most adorable adventure you'll ever dive into! Meet Mahdi, the sweetest duckling you'll ever encounter, who's on a quest to find his place in the big, wide world. From the very first page, I was hooked on Mahdi's journey of self-discovery and couldn't help but cheer for him. This book isn't just a story; it's a life lesson wrapped in feathers and smiles.
I love the illustrations and the storyline but think they are misaligned developmentally. There are too many words for the age child the illustrations will appeal most to.
Although I don’t think our local public library will purchase this children’s picture book, it seems just right for a Sunday school lesson. The book is perfect for launching a discussion on finding your right place in the world. A Christian school might also add this to their collection.
This children's book is a good example of young ones learning where they fit in to the world, and how important it is to keep trying.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for allowing me to read this ARC
This is like a newer updated version of 'The Ugly Duckling', which is outdated in messaging of valuing beauty. I like how the little duck tries to imitate others until he realizes to be great it to be yourself.
Cute message, I could definitely see using this in a classroom.
