I love this journal! My favorite part was the review section where I could put small copies of the book cover.

Very easy and straight forward. Works really well on goodnotes. I really liked the colour scheme and all the available features that it comes with. I would like to see other versions

Nice free way to journal your books online. It does only have four pages per month so kinda low. The activities section is cute. Overall it’s nothing groundbreaking or innovative, but it’s free so it’ll do.

Simple to use! Great as a starter reading journal. Bonus points for it being free. Definitely recommended if you’re just starting out with digital journaling. Can be imported to Goodnotes as well. Don’t forget to get stickers!

This looks to be a handy reading journal for people looking to organize and track their reading. It's well-organized by month, allowing for a quick snapshot of the reader's books read (this is not as easy to track on popular online reading sites, so this could be a nice alternative, or to be used in conjunction with those).

The NetGalley Reading Journal is probably the most fun and interesting reading journal I've seen yet. There's fun activities to do as well as a habit tracker and pages dedicated to in depth and comprehensive reviews making it super easy to keep track of the book you're reading!

It’s a very nice reading journal, although admittedly not something I would ever use. I’m far too disorganized.

I have always been curious about creating a digital journal. The templates are really nice and clean. I can see the flexibility to customize it how I would like. Unfortunately my tech is too old to download the needed apps to put this to use. I would love to come back to this if I ever upgrade.

I LOVE this! I am a sucker for a good journal template and this has so many things I look forward to in a book journal. And the extra pages and stickers are wonderful! My only hope would be more color options in the future, but I love the two options that are available now.

The NetGalley Reading Journal is a versatile and thoughtfully designed tool that makes tracking and reflecting on your reading journey an enjoyable experience. With a user-friendly structure, it offers flexibility to personalize each entry according to your own preferences and needs.

One of the standout features of this journal is its adaptability. While it provides a solid framework with sections for book summaries, ratings, and reflections, there’s ample space to add your own style. Whether you prefer bullet points, mind maps, or even full-page reflections, the journal encourages creativity and allows you to modify it to suit your mood or reading goals.

A bonus is how effortlessly this journal integrates into Canva. The process of loading the journal into the platform is smooth and intuitive. Within minutes, I was able to make adjustments—whether adding colors, changing fonts, or reworking the layout. The ease of customizing the journal design made it feel personal and unique, transforming a simple reading tracker into a beautifully tailored space for book notes and musings.

In summary, the NetGalley Reading Journal is a fantastic resource for anyone looking to deepen their reading practice. It’s flexible and makes it fun to lean into the creative side of journaling while also not needing to completely start from scratch! I Definitely recommend this template!!!

The aesthetic of the journal is beautiful with lots of sections for tracking reading.

With a spot to input covers, I think adding the title and author of the book may be a waste of space.

I’ve used this for over a year and have thoroughly enjoyed the easy setup. I will look for the sunset edition for continued use.

Lovely idea. It has everything needed when wanting to complete a reading journal. I personally prefer a physical journal.

Great resource for a reading journal. I like that there are now options of styles and I like how simple it is.

Loved the introduction and the motivation behind this journal.

The "About me" page can be expanded a little bit.
I did find some aspects potentially repetitive (fav books to recommend & 5 books to get to know me - social media & where I leave reviews)
I wonder how personalisable this page could be.

For review pages, I personally find it redundant to put the book cover and then write the title + author name under it. I would rather use the space for something else like narrators, tropes, mood, start date (not just finish date), DNF/Recommend/Favourite, format, etc.

The check-in page is comprehensive, I like it.
Sometimes we listen and read at the same time, so maybe that aspect can be tweaked?

Loved the small sentences for each month cover!

The habit tracker is an incredible tool.
Loved the other activities as well, can be helpful when in a slump or indecisive.
The yearly wrap-up is incredible!

I wish there are some suggested stickers tho.
