NetGalley guides are always so helpful to me. I base my physical book journal off of these. They give you a bunch of prompts to use and templates. My favorite parts are introducing yourself, the rating page and then writing about each book. I will always recommend them.

I really enjoyed using the NetGalley reading journal this year & I really want to give it another go next year. All the prompts are great & I love that it includes some challenges for reading to complete. I do wish that there were more pages for book reviews each month to keep me accountable for all my reads but overall I have really loved this journal & think it is definitely worthwhile getting for anyone who uses NetGalley.

I’ve been wanting to get into digital journaling for my reading adventures for a while now, but starting from scratch seemed daunting. It felt like a sign when I opened up my email and saw that NetGalley has this wonderful journal! After using the handy User Guide, I pulled up the journal in Goodnotes and marveled at the numerous, fun pages they have to record and display my upcoming reads. I can’t wait to get started after the new year!

I tried using this journal on an iPhone and it just didn’t work for me. The format was clunky and entering text was difficult on the small keyboard. I don’t think I can rate it fairly because I think it would have been a better experience on an iPad or tablet.

Every year I tell myself that I am going to be creative and come up with my own unique journal. And every year I fail to do so! This is quite the delight to have everything I wanted all in one space! Thank you for reading my mind!

This is a great starter journal for people who want a digital space for keeping track of what they read. I really like the trackers in the back and the A-Z challenge.

This was a great tool that is obvious someone spent quality time on. I am not the most tech savvy person, so anything that walks me through step by step as this does is a huge win. Thank you!

This has a nice layout and is a wonderful idea, it just isn't for me. I really hope those who enjoy keeping this type of journal enjoy it, though!

Gorgeous, and very useful.

I have had a few digital reading journals but I like this one the most so far. the hyperlinks to the tabs make using this journal so easy and seamless!

Okay NetGalley! Yes! I actually downloaded both of the color options because they were both so cute. I love how the journal is set up. It covers all and honestly more of the things I like to keep track of for my reads. I’m excited to try this out for my next reading year!

This is such a wonderful way to keep track of what you’re reading and reviewing. It’s aesthetically pleasing and not overwhelming. The editing part is a little hindering but I would love this in a physical form.

Can not recommend this reading journal by NetGalley enough it is so fun and really user friendly once you get used to it, if you’re struggling with it there are even helpful videos to watch that are very simple to follow along with.

The NetGalley reading journal is a wonderful resource for all bookish people. In addition to having sections for keeping tracks of books read and audiobooks listened to it also contains sections to review books and even reading challenges.
The reading journal contains everything I would ask for in a reading journal. There is a yearly goals section, a bookshelf section to keep track of reading and it even comes with digital stickers! Some of the stickers are functional and some decorative.
In the "Activities' section there is a habit tracker and numerous reading challenges. Additional reading challenges are now also available to download and insert.
The Wrap Up section contains a book bracket, a page to record favourites for the year, and a page for reading reflections with guided questions.
Following this there is a blank section for notes.
Each month has been given its own section and the layout is the same for each of them. There is a check-in page to set goals for the month, and track favourites and reading progress. This is followed by four pages of book reviews. Four pages are probably not enough for most avid readers but it is easy enough to duplicate these pages.
The reading journal comes in two colourways, one more subdued and the other in bright sunset colours.
I am using the reading journal to keep track of my NetGalley books and reviews! I am delighted to have such a wonderful tool at my disposal.

This journal is very well organized with everything you need to track your reading in a fun creative way. There can be a learning curve with the digital editing aspect of this, but there are many apps that can be used and a helpful guide to assist if you get stuck. The challenges at the end are great inspiration, and I love the monthly check-ins to track your NetGalley progress. The additional bundles you can download to personalize your journal are just a plus. Thanks We Are Bookish for the lovely gift.

This reading guide is very aesthetically pleasing and has amazing features. It works well with many different apps/softwares. It had many reading challenges and monthly check-ins. Lots of thought went behind making this for sure!!

Great way to keep track of what you are reading if you would rather the more journal type than tracking on an app.

A reading journal is not something I would usually consider., and It took me a while to decide to use this, did enjoyed the journaling journey, and I have also recommended this to several persons at my book club.
However, I personally will not continue with a journal, it was good for me as a one of and something different. I just have other tools I use and will continue to do so.

As of this review, the 2023 version of the reading journal is one release behind. The 2024 version was published on 12/16/24. With that being said, both journals are very similar and full of the same great content.

On my review for the newer edition I mentioned the lovely monthly review pages which are still available here. These are great for setting goals and tracking stats month to month. I also like the yearly goals and stats page at the beginning.

Either version would be a great tool for digital journaling of your reading journey, but I’d recommend the newest edition if you haven’t started filling one out yet.
