This was a lot of fun to have and try out. I don’t think I’ve ever had a book journal. I’ve seen them all on social media and wanted to give a try. Thank you Netgalley for gifting this to me. I can’t wait to see what I can do with it.

So fun! But ultimately not my style for tracking. Could be improved to be easily posted on social accounts like stories.

I just love this journal! I have a notebook where I keep all of the challenges, reads, and stats for the year. This fits in perfectly. What I did was print the pages on sticker paper and placed them in my notebook to keep track of everything NetGalley. This way I am able to remember what I chose to read, my thoughts, and have something to look back at in December. Thank you NetGalley for something so wonderful!

In a crowded space like Journaling or habit tracking, a product needs to be exceptional to merit attention. This journal is adequate, but is not very user friendly or attractive.

I was expecting a PDF form, with easy to use chrckboxes and text areas. Instead, it is a simple PDF document, so the process for using the journal is arcane enough to require a user manual and additional downloads of "stickers" which have to be pasted on to fill in stars, etc.

Visual pleasure is the main reward of a new journal and its acoutrements, and this one falls flat. The ugly color scheme of "Tuscan kitchen circa 1999" will fail to spark joy for most readers. (Seriously, when picking three accent colors for a journal, who would choose BROWN?)

In short, if you plan to print the pages and fill them out by hand, this will likely work fine, but those who want a digital reading journal can give it a pass.

So very sweet and nice of NetGalley to do this for us! This journal is sooooo cool! It is going to be an absolute blast using it this upcoming year!

Not useful for me, too many screens and information that I don't need to remember a book that I have read.
I have my own system that I will continue using.
