loved this! thank you for providing it! I wish a review wasn't required....because how this is forced.
For a long time I have been wanting to have a journal to control and record my readings. This book is a good way to track your readings during the year. The journal is clean and concise, you can find the basic to control your readings during the year, everything you need to keep track and write your reviews. The design is simple and well organised. A great option to build a consistent habit in both reading and reviewing. The reading challenges are fun to explore and make you read books you didn't expect before.
Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for gifting me with a free copy. Opinions are my own and are freely given.
I like the option for a reading journal and thank NetGalley for this! The only drawback is that with such a busy schedule, it isn't sustainable for me to keep up. I would definiately try to give it a go for next year!
I love this reading journal. Because it’s digital I never have to search to find where I left it or worry about using a marker that bleeds through the pages. The trackers are cute and fun and I enjoy following my progress and tracking my reading habits there.
This is such a good way of keeping track of the books you read. I like that it can be filled in as you choose and adaptable to your journalling style
This resource was such a fun addition to my reading routine! I loved it. Thank you for the ARC opportunity!
This is my fist time using a reading journal and I found this to be a very easy to use & helpful way to document my reading journey.
Very helpful to stay on track with reading goals. Works well to make notes while reading and keeping everything in one place.
Really like the wrap up pages and clickable tabs for easy navigation. I think my only critique would be to add a monthly cover page that is more customizable or seasonal. I just want to be able to add more collages or mood boards on the books I read so I like some space to do that in each review. But, it is cute and efficient for keeping up with net galley arc.
This would be a great took for those that are able to use it. I downloaded it to my phone, but found it is hard to type in what you want to record books and book information. Maybe it works better on a computer or a tablet, but on my phone it doesn't work right. I don't feel I can give it a fair review because I am not able to use it the way I would like.
I was looking for a tool that would help motivate me to read more in 2024, so I was excited to find the NetGalley Reading Journal! I like the format and layout of the journal. It's satisfying to fill in each book review. My favorite part is the monthly check in pages. I would recommend this journal to any bibliophile!
it was a learning curve to do this digitally throughout this year. I am hoping that they update it for next year.
Damn wow! It's sooooo fucking cool!
I don't remember how or when exactly I discovered it, but the templates are soooooo amazing! I wish I had the money to buy a printed version of this (and some more money to get the colour print outs of all the book covers!). I haven't yet thought of a proper way to use it, I wish this was in the form of an app or website or smth! It'd make me so happy!
Edit: Okay, so while writing this review, I decided to do some exploring and found the Journal guide, and LEARNED HOW I CAN USE IT!!!! I can't believe I didn't notice it before (I was too busy marvelling over the templates and wanting to share my excitement!))
I'll try out the instructions given in the book and update you guys about it later!!!
Okay, so I tried out the instructions, but used a normal Notes app instead of downloading YET another one, and it didn't work well with that tbh. So I'm just gonna try some PDF editor or smth.
I really wish this were in the form of an app!
I like using this to keep track of my books in theory but it's a lot of extra work for someone with ADHD. I think if I didn't already use this platform and goodreads I would've enjoyed it more but it's a lot of redundancy for me personally.
The NetGalley Reading Journal by We Are Bookish is designed to enhance the reading experience for book reviewers and avid readers alike. Available as a downloadable and customizable PDF, it includes features like monthly check-ins, book review pages, and interactive sections like NetGalley Bingo and habit trackers. These tools make it easy to set goals, track reading progress, and engage in fun reading challenges.
The journal is especially appreciated for its flexibility; users can personalize pages, add stickers, and even import it into apps like GoodNotes for a more interactive experience. While some users prefer a physical journal for note-taking, the digital format is praised for its accessibility and organized layout, which helps users keep track of their NetGalley ratio and other reading goals in a visually appealing way.
Overall, it’s a valuable tool for readers looking to document and reflect on their literary journeys, whether they’re experienced NetGalley users or new to book journaling .
Helpful! I liked the monthly reading check ins, and I think the templates are cute and trendy. This will really help me remember what I read! The bingo was a fun touch too ✨️
Fun way to more deeply connect with worlds and characters in our fav books. It is really helpful for keeping everything straight for reviewing books well and on time.
As a user of Goodreads, I appreciate The concept of the journal. However, there’s a lot of extra steps in keeping the Journal up-to-date. I find it a lot easier to just grab my phone and fill out my likes to stars. Is the dates and put my review onto the site. This type of journal is not for everyone, but I am sure it fits a niche.
I really enjoyed this reading journal, and I love tracking my reading! I would love a paper copy because I prefer to write out my goals, but this was great.
I read a lot of books and have been looking for a way to keep track of them - this is a perfect way to do so, It is customizable so each user can tailor it for the way that best suits them. I find this to be very handy and use it all the time.
