The design is not the most accessible as some sections are harder to read. The most-anticipated reads sections could be bigger; there's no way people are just looking forward to 5 books in the year.
I liked the album-style layout. All in all, it is a good way to organize your reading journey throughout the year.
A much as I would like to be, I'm not the sort of person who is likely to ever have the follow through for journaling. This was formatted nicely though.
Look forward to using the journal. Very easy to navigate using Goodnotes. Has everything I need to keep track of all of my books!
This is so fun! I love being able to track my reading on it! I have used it this year to track my reading and to write out some thoughts, and it has been so cool to see my reading journey come to life!
Love this resource so much! The reading journal is such a fun way to keep up with my netgalley titles and plan my reading and reviews.
This is a great journal to keep track of books! You can keep track of everything in one place so you can remember some of your favorite parts/quotes/notes and more of each book you read!
Thank you to NetGalley for such a fun and unique way to track my reading for the year! I usually keep track of my reading solely through Goodreads, so it's been fun to have another wonderful resource to do so.
I actually stoped using it because I couldn't understand it it was a cute idea but too much and my brain stopped working whole using it
What a fun tool to have access to! I have years of journals collecting quotes. My blog is titled Memories from Books, and it is just that. I am a reader. Always have been. I don't remember a time in my life that I did not have a book in hand and several to be read. The more I read, the more books I discover to read. Some I read and remember. Some I read and forget. That is how my blog started. I started writing book reviews – to keep my memories of the books I have read. Then I discovered NetGalley which is a virtual treasure trove for a reader! This journal provides another way to gather those memories. I love being part of this community.
A lot of great ideas on tracking your reading goals for the year. Thank you for creating this wonderful tool for us to use!
I love this extra resource NetGalley has given us. Anything bookish is always a win in my book. I tend to track my reads on GoodReads and Bookmory but I can see myself using this as a way to keep a snapshot of my reading life.
I love this way of keeping track of my books and review/ratings! The visuals included make my reading accomplishments so much more striking, and in a format I can share on social media. Thanks so much for this design!
This is such a fantastic journal template! I can't wait to be able to go through all the pages and use them to keep my reviews together!
Love, love, love this! Downloaded it in December and then forgot about it, but I wish I had been using it all year long! I plan to use the reading wrap up at the end of the year still, and I really hope they do another one for 2025!
I wish there were a way to add photos/write reviews and interact more with the digital journal, I think the idea here is to print it off and do that on your own?
I think it'd be neat to have a option to add things (book covers, photos, reviews, star ratings) with the NetGalley Shelf app and sent it to a printer at the end of the year to have a finished professional journal (I also don't think this should cost *anything* to readers, who do a ton of free labor with our reviews and that's not really acknowledged in publishing that I've seen). On my own, I don't know where to go to get a printed product from this that will look decent at the end.
As it is now, it's a nice starter if you haven't done a reading journal before, or think that might work for you / be helpful, it's not for everyone.
Really epic free journal from NetGalley, loving the tracker and book shelves to colour, super cute format. I use NetGalley a lot and it’s smashing that they are offering this stuff with no cost!
This journal gives a unique experience to all book and Netgalley lovers. The style and colours of the journal are beautiful and the colour scheme have lovely calm tones throughout the entirety of the journal. Easily customisable from a tablet with guides on how to use and plenty of features for all booklovers.
I downloaded this, and it will be nice to have all the books organized. I am moving forward in my online and electronics part of my life, and I am going to see where this takes me.
I love how interactive this is, but if I were to print this, I’d lose all that. I’ve got my own system for marking what books I’ve read, so I’m not super likely to use the system in the journal, but I still think it’s pretty cool. There are plenty of people who would actually use this, either digitally or physically. I also like that you can print this, that way you can edit the number of pages you might need. There’s only so many review pages for each month, and I know plenty of people who skyrocket past those numbers, especially people who read lots of kids books. What is the time limit for the bingo? Will it change if this releases again next year? Is there anything to be won by completing it, or is it just for fun?
Thank you for the reading journal =) It will be put to good use to track my reading journey. I love that it is digital which makes it easy to edit and record the information I would like inluded.
