This book is so far fetched that it's brilliant! Told from the main characters point of view, Al - isn't his real name but he won't tell us what is - takes the reader on the most bizarre journey of murder, spies, cyber crime and more. I loved the style this was written in and will look for more from this author.
Thanks to NetGalley and the publishers for the ARC in return for my honest and unbiased opinion.

A great premise and some wonderful characters!
Al is a great loner, until he realises being not alone can actually be better- more fun, more support when dead bodies land in your lap etc.!
The idea of stumbling into a murder whilst committing your own crime is the epitome of bad luck and for the unlikely foursome of not-really-friends-yet triggers a desperate need to clear their own names with some dubious investigations all whilst swerving the police.
Everyone brings something to the table, although mostly in a semi-incompetent way and the constant panic and tension makes the book fast paced and great to read.

Personally this wasn't to my tastes, I feel like the main character spent a lot of time telling us how smart he was but acted quite dim at times.
It felt more like a made for TV drama. But it was easy to read and I could see why other would enjoy it.

I wasn't to sure what expect from the title of the book, but I was more than pleasantly surprised.
It has some brilliantly written characters and the plot keeps you engaged throughout.
Poor Al is not having a great day and things are going to get so much worse.
Al has an interesting sideline away from his freelance work as a photographer.
He is a interloper, which is a fancy way of saying that he lives in people's homes while they are away without their knowledge.
It's a great way to stay in some of the most expensive postcodes in Britain without ever having to pay rent!
But his latest break in has him nearly caught when the owner comes back unexpectedly.
Al thinks on his feet and only just gets away with it. Feeling downhearted he returns to one house that he knows will always be empty but to his surprise he finds three young people doing exactly the same as him!
The story unfolds from there with some wonderfully wicked humour and some crazy stunts along the way.

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for an advance copy of this book in return for a review.
I very much enjoyed reading this story about a rather unorthodox house sitter who ends up caught up in a murder mystery with a gang of likeminded interlopers. There was plenty of action as the interlopers tried to solve the mystery before the police with lots of comic moments mixed in.
I felt as if the book veered a little bit off course in the third act, with new locations and plot points introduced late on, But overall very enjoyable and I will definitely read more of Andrew Hunter Murray.

This book was really fun. Crazy and unbelievable but enjoyable.
Al breaks into big expensive houses, seemingly for fun. Things go a bit wrong when he meets a group of 3 who are doing a similar thing.
At first it was a bit slow but once things started to go wrong the story whizzed along. Its amusing, tongue in cheek stuff.
Would make a great tv show too.

What a romp! Murder, cyber crime, breaking and entering, and a little bit of romance - this book has it all. A thoroughly enjoyable read - British humour at its best.

What a lovely book it was so full of humour and I kept on laughing all the way through. It was a great read that managed to combine murder, mystery into sucha wonderful situation. I loved the rules for breaking and entering as these were so enlightening and full of comedy when they were being described. This is one very talented author that I would like now to follow.

Murder, intrigue and plenty of comedy. I really laughed out loud in parts ( Scooby-Doo!!) If you only read one book this year make it this one, what a blast! Am off to check out more from this author. My thanks to netgalley and the publisher for my copy. Huge five stars from me.
