I was a little worried going into this book when I saw the cover, but I was surprised to find that I really quite enjoyed reading this Christmas romance.
Perfect festive read full of love, heart and the magic of the season
It's gonna be perfect for fans of christmas rom coms
Christmas, people, fun. That is what this book is all about and I really enjoyed reading it. It is light and easy to read with wonderful characters that fit perfectly into the story. A holiday romance that takes no time at all to get immersed into and I finished before I knew it.
This is a warm, cosy, fun, entertaining and very enjoyable read and one I thoroughly enjoyed.
Thank you NetGalley and Independently Published for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book.
This was a sweet romance. It was a short read and I really enjoyed it. Takes place in a resort in Minnesota. She had a terrible heartbreak 10 years ago and never expected to run into Him again.
The story of Mariana and Terry. A Christmas second chance romance. Very festive . Looking forward to more from this author.
This was a great sweet no spice holiday romance. I loved it!! It was absolutely perfect for me to curl up on the couch under a blanket and just get lost in!!! I loved it!!! It was so good!!!

I’m not sure how I feel about this one still. I liked it while I was reading it but I found it very forgettable. I did really like the characters and the story line.
Meet Me on Christmas Eve is a cute Christmas romance that makes you want to curl up by the fireplace. While it is predictable, the characters are fun and the setting is the perfect winter wonderland.
Was a cute read but I didn't really like Mariana too much. Felt like she was all over the place. Terry was more likeably.
A sweet Christmas rom com that tended to be a little on the predictable side but still good. It was also a fairly quick read.
I really enjoyed reading this book.
The plot was good. The characters were lovable (most of them... and the ones I didn't like, well, it's good those make you feel something too). And I could feel the Christmas holiday all over it. Such a cozy feeling.
Such an adorable Christmas romance book, definitely a book to cuddle up and read next to the fire. Loved all the characters and the cozy vibe. I loved how fast-paced the book was and the one liners had me giggling! Definitely worth a read!
It felt like hallmark in a book. Which could be good or bad depending on the reader. Mari came across pretentious, entitled and infuriatingly immature to me. This seems to be a common theme in hallmark movies that some people don't mind. It however did bug me a bit but not enough to DNF
This one was a really slow start for me. It was just too negative for me to really enjoy when I'm cold and miserable anyway.
A story that two people who meet when they are younger and then reconnect later in life. Marina has come back to the lodge where she met Terry once a boy that she thought had loved her. Hence when they were supposed to meet again and he did not show she went on a quest to become self-sufficient. She is now a successful business owner and owner of the lodge that she once stayed at. Who would have thought that she would run into Terry in the Christmas village while walking but also when she asks for things to be done around the lodge, only to find out that he is one of the employees? Surprised she is curious to find out what happened to the boy and family that had money. Also, does she want him in her life? A really good book with good characters.
Cute second chance romance but I felt kind of bored. Character development wasn’t super impressive. The relationship seems forced.

Summary/ Review:
A comfy, festive, romantic read.
Mariana and Terry fell in love as teenagers, but life and their parents' decisions separated them…or so they thought. Ten years later, fate has a plan and Mariana and Terry meet again…will time be on their side this time?
This is a comfy, romantically festive read, similar to a traditional Hallmark, however, it did have a few fun plotline twists towards the end, which knocked it up a star in my book.

Thanks to NetGalley for the opportunity to read Meet Me on Christmas Eve by Alana Highbury. A fun Christmas read with characters I enjoyed spending time with.
Thank you Netgalley for the ARC. I'm a sucker for a happy ending but, in afraid the lead up to this one just didn't capture me. The author painted a beautiful portrait of a snowy Christmas town but, the love story didn't quite have the same appeal.
