I was on the edge of my seat reading this, especially the second half. I don't want to give any spoilers, but that apartment was just astounding. My inner geek loved it.
Detective Lana Tate’s husband has been killed. Everyone says it was an accident, but she's convinced it was deliberate. She contacts Eamon Quinn to help her uncover the truth. He has loved her from afar for many years.
A murder/mystery combined with a high octane race to discover the truth and a romance to boot, this ticks all the boxes for the perfect read.
Just the right level of danger and action, a plausible storyline and a good hunt for who the evil mastermind is. This book jumped along covering the machinations of a corrupt organisation, a bit of light hearted relief at the daft henchmen and a lovely romance. The whole team behind Lana and Eamon are great, expert, dedicated, loyal and above all kind. The strong family vibe is touching and makes the book. It’s a read it all in one go as you cant put it down kind of book.
A Detective's Deadly Secrets is a hero romance novel by Anna J. Stewart.
I enjoyed this novel. It's story was easy to follow & a quick, easy read and the main characters chemistry was slow burn, which was sweet. I loved the story and I highly recommended it. I look forward to reading more by the author.
❤️ Thank you to netgalley, Mills and Boon Insiders and the author, for my arc ebook copy of the book in exchange for an honest review.
