I requested this extract from After a Dance by Bridget O’Connor as I had not read anything previously by the author and was intrigued to try it. The stories feature a unique and at times, eccentric narrative. I enjoyed this taster of the book.

I enjoyed reading these short stories. My favourite was the first one. I would definitely like to read the rest of the collection.

I’d never heard of Bridget O’Connor before I saw this sampler. The three short stories showcased are each very different. They hit the ground running drawing me in to a world with limited description but my imaginations up for that.
I’d read more of this book!
