I loved Cinderella is Dead and this sampler has me hooked already! I can’t wait to read the whole book!

I am so excited to read this full novel!!! Kalynn has written some phenomenal books and I know this won’t be any different!!

I was so excited when I heard that Kalynn Bayron had a new YA fantasy book coming out, I enjoyed Cinderella is Dead and LOVED This Poison Heart and This Wicked Fate.

This was just a sampler so I only got to see the beginning of the book but I am loving the world building and intrigue that is already building. I did find initially the writing felt a bit clunky and I don't think this sampler was long enough for me to truly get into it!

I am so excited to see where the rest of the book goes when it is published!

I am already a fan of this author having read four of her other books. Looks like we have another winner!

This book starts of exciting straight away with a main character who has an animal communication magic. In these early chapters we also learn of a mysterious knight who has been granting wishes that come at great cost. I am fascinating by this and I want to know more!

So excited for this book to come out!

Really excited to read the whole book- this was a nice sample to get an idea of the book and premise to see if it’s something I would like. I have liked the authors other books so far so I’m sure I will like this too!

Oooooo this had me hooked straight away! Princess Eve I can already tell is such a bad ass and I love her. I cannot wait to read the rest of this one and see how the story evolves.

As I only read a sampler of three chapters, it doesn’t feel like I have much to say but I am intrigued by it and would happily keep reading. It’s interesting as a world building and I like that it feels more like inspired by the tale of Snow White than a direct telling although it does remind me a little of the Huntsman movies

An intriguing start to what will hopefully be a great read! I'm looking forward to finishing the rest and finding out what happens

A great little sampler for a very exciting upcoming release!
Having loved her previous books, I was really excited to access the sampler and, although the writing in this one reminds me a bit of CID (which I liked less than Poison) it still pulls you right in and makes you want to immerse yourself in the story.
I look forward to reading the whole story!

Kalynn Bayron is an automatic read for me ever since I read Cinderella must die. And while I have enjoyed her other books, none of them quite held the same magic for me UNTIL THIS.

This sampler through me straight back to all the magic feelings I felt when reading Cinderella must die and now I both feel like I need to re-read that and I also can't wait to read this full book!

I am so exited for this book, its one of my most anticipated releases for 2024. I love Kalynn Bayron's writting so much especially 'You're not supposed to die tonight'.

I absolutely love this book so far, I flew through the sampler and can't wait to see where it goes. The character of Eve is really interesting she seems like such a powerfully and complex person.

I also really enjoyed this style of fairytale retelling. I think it's going to be a really twisty, engaging story and I can't wait too see how the antagonist developes.

As with the other book by Kalynn Bayron, Sleep Like Death rapidly ties you into the story ahead, setting audience expectations for the journey ahead. Another re-envisioned folk story - this time Snow White - I found that the speed of the first three chapters was perfect. It promises interesting times ahead, with a strong-willed protagonist.

This is the first time I've read Kalynn Bayron and being only a short sample it is difficult to give a review. However, after only 3 chapters I found myself wanting to read more, wanting to learn more about the world and the characters I'd already met.
The main character, Eve, seems young and impulse, and is even called arrogant, yes she also seems kind, and caring, and full of love for her family, friends and those she is to protect. She's not afraid to put herself in danger for those she loves but I fear this will lead to trouble that could be avoided.
I look forward to reading more about Eve and her adventures with the Knight soon.

It's really hard to give detailed feedback on a sampler but based on how much I have loved all of Kaylynns other books, and how those 3 chapters went. I am confident I will love this book and cannot wait for it to be released!

So far I’ve read two books from this author and they were both good, im giving this a 2.5 as it’s only a sampler and could get better further on into the book (what I will be buying) this book hasn’t gripped me but this could also be because I’m not in the complete mood to read this at the moment.

Yet another one of Kalynn Bayron's books that I will absolutely devour when it comes out. An easy, entertaining read as always ... and of course ended on a bit of a cliffhanger. I can't wait to know more.

I am so excited to read the full book. The sampler had me gripped and can’t wait to find out more where did Eve’s powers come from, who is the knight and who is the mysterious person the queen is talking to.

I love the strong female characters we are introduced to with the huntress, Eve and the Queen. If the world and character building in this short sample are anything to go on this is going to be an exciting read.
