Well this was rather amusing and I absolutely loved the Amalfi coast setting in Italy which was described so well.
And with two main characters that are clearly big food lovers, there are loads of descriptions of food that will make your mouth water, and I could almost smell some of it from here!
That isn't the only thing Andi and Owen have in common, as neither of them are keen on weddings, yet they are about to be Maid of Honour and Best Man for their best friends wedding, and all they have to do is try to not destroy it, or anyone in it! And well that has some interesting effects.
I absolutely adored Owen, he was everything I could want in a man and more. However I struggled at times to connect with Andi, don't get me wrong she is lovely, and I think it was a me issue!
This was just a really enjoyable story, that was great escapism.
Thank you to Aria and Netgalley for this copy which I have reviewed honestly and voluntarily,

Thanks Netgalley for allowing me to read this book! The title and this beautiful cover drew me in and i was excited to read this book! I will be recommending this book to others for readers advisory.

After her fiancé cheats on her at their wedding, Andi is pretty much over any type of romance or love or anything to do with feelings of any sort whatsoever. Kinda goes without saying that she’s not super pumped when her best friend, Alex, asks her to be the maid of honor in her upcoming wedding. Not only is Andi really not feeling it, the wedding is in Italy. As in travel. As in MONEY. And Andi is broke as a joke. So all the way around, it’s really just total suck.
But….the whole BFF thing always wins out, right? Or at least, it should. I mean, in a perfect world. Anyway, in this book, it does and off goes Andi to Italy to half-heartedly serve as a mediocre maid of honor for no other reason than she said she would. And then - here comes Owen, the best man who also hates weddings and who’s almost - but not quite - as pessimistic about love as Andi. One would assume they would both be total crap together and totally tank the wedding. And maybe they did. Or maybe they didn’t. Who knows? Guess you’ll have to read to find out.
Cute book. It was a fun read.
Thanks to Lucy Knott, Aria and Netgalley for this ARC in return for my honest review.

Owen and Andrea actually had great banter in this book, but then the rest wasn't really for me. It got heavy really fast, but the main character was really hard to like and feel sorry for. I would have appreciated a much more likeable FMC and a softer plot.

We are huge Lucy Knotts supports here in TNR! We loved this book and it was a great book to pick up and enjoy while on vacation! The story! The characters! All around yes for us!

Another Net galley Backlog is The Anti-Wedding Party by Lucy Know. This book has an adorable cover, which attracted me to it. This was a rapid and easy read, but the book felt flat for me, and I couldn’t connect to any of the characters and didn’t care about them. It has a very descriptive style, and the plot is practically non-existent. Though it was a quick and easy read, I found finishing challenging.

I wanted to love this one, I enjoyed the premise and the cover was too cute. It was a quick read, but it was a flat one for me.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this eARC! I thought that this was a quick read, but I thought it was very basic and not life-changing and fell flat a bit.

Sometimes unlikeable female characters can be a miss for me. Other times like this they’re huge hits for me. It was also refreshing being able to see the main characters outlook on life and marriages. Sometimes romance books have the same repeated themes and messages and at times it’s nice to get something new. Our leading man Charlie was also on the same page as our leading lady so it was nice to see them being on the same page. This was a fun read! And I’d recommend to those looking for a fun time.

I really liked the sound of the premise of this book but unfortunately really struggled to root for the main character and just found her very irritating

Thank you, Netgalley, the author, and Aria for the gifted e-book! ❤️ #gifted. My review is comprised of my honest thoughts.
This was not for me. It was not a cute, sweet romcom. The MC was terrible. I struggled badly with this.

One of my favorite things in the world is watching wedding haters and anti-romantics fall in love, and this book DELIVERS. There is just something so satisfying about watching these two characters fall in love with weddings and each other, truly against their will. Incredible.

I thought this was very good and I will have to add this to the shop shelves. Thank you for the chance for us to review.

The (Anti) Wedding Party by Lucy Knott is a charming and refreshing twist on the classic wedding rom-com. The story follows Faye, who, after a broken engagement, is reluctantly pulled into planning her best friend's wedding, forcing her to confront her own heartache.
In my summarized opinion:
The Good:
Knott excels at creating relatable, well-developed characters, especially Faye, whose vulnerability and growth feel authentic. The novel's mix of humor and heartfelt moments provides an engaging balance, and its message of self-love and redefining happiness beyond societal norms is both empowering and refreshing.
The Bad:
The pacing can occasionally lag, especially during some of the wedding preparation scenes, which feel repetitive. Additionally, while the emotional depth is commendable, certain side characters lack development, leaving some relationships feeling underexplored.
Overall, it’s a fun and thoughtful read, perfect for anyone looking for a rom-com that digs a little deeper into themes of self-worth and personal growth.

i was initially interested in this book by the cover and the blurb! i expected a cute romance, which it had potential to be, but this was quite difficult for me to get into. i couldn’t relate to the fmc and i wasn’t convinced of the chemistry between the characters. i would recommend to anyone that is up for a very quick, light, fluffy read!

Thank you net galley and Lucy Knott, for the e-arc. this review is being left voluntarily, and all opinions are my own.
I really really wanted to enjoy this book. The cover is what drew me in. However, I struggled to relate to the FMC, and to see the chemistry between the two MCs.

First of all thank you for approving my request!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The authors writing style had me hooked throughout this book.
I didn't want it to end, a book I really couldn't put down.

1 star from me :/
It just wasn’t for me unfortunately!! I was fooled by the blurb found it quite boring , quite slow and the main character annoying!!

The cover immediately caught my eye, and I was expecting a really cute story. It was definitely a quick and light read, but I found the protagonist incredibly irritating. She just didn’t resonate with me, and the chemistry between the characters felt forced and underdeveloped. The story fell short of my expectations, but Owen’s character and the vivid descriptions of Italy were the saving grace that kept me reading.
