For fans of formula one this book is perfect! You already know the rules and the tracks and with these new exciting racing drivers it’s a very fun read. Very much enjoyed and would highly recommend

A massive thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for my copy of this e-arc!

This book was okay, the way the characters acted started to annoy me but I think it was due to the way it was written because the points that were brought up were very valid points but I didn’t like the way I was taking them in.

Overall, it was a quick and easy read!

Not my cup of tea, the F1 side of it was brilliant and done very well. The romance was lacklustre and not exciting at all.

As a Formula 1 fan and romance reader, it's so exciting to see plotline representation happening through traditional publishing! However, Offtrack missed the mark for me. It felt a bit boring and overall really unfulfilling.

I found this very hard to get into for the first quater as I was in a slump. But I loved this book in the end! I'm a sucker for a sport romance anyway, but then mix in all the deeper messages written within this book made it so much better and eye opening.
The book dives into f1 culture, stereotypical f1 drivers, how females are treated differently to men and that's not even the start of it!

I loved the writing style, and the dual POVs.
I felt the fmm was so relatable and her patience and outlook on life was amazing.

I really enjoyed this and it got me out of my two month slump.

I DNF this book, I found it boring and couldn’t get along with it at all unfortunately. I enjoyed the concept of a female F1 driver, I just didn’t like the way it showed her in the beginning.

Thank you so much to Avon Books, Esha Patel and Netgalley for the E-arc of Offtrack.

Oh my gosh! F1 + Women in Sport + Diversity = Pure perfection!

I loved that the Female Main Character is an F1 driver competing against all the men! It really gave a new perspective to the book.
Diana and Miguel are just adorable however I did find their romance just a bit too predictable which kind of made me not as invested as I would have loved to have been.

I think this book is a perfect example of how women are treated in male dominated sports and if not for the romance scenes in a couple of chapters it would have been a brilliant YA book for young women who doubt their abilities or have ever been told they can't do something because of their gender.
Sadly this is the reason I gave this book 3.5 stars.

I enjoyed the championing of women in motorsport, breaking barriers and reallying fighting for what they want.
Equally I liked that it wasnt easy for Diana. This was my first F1 romance book and it didnt quite fit for me. The idea was there I just found I didnt care enough to really be invested in the storyline.

While it did take me a while to get into the book, once I did, I flew through it.

This was my first try at F1 romance and I gotta say I enjoyed it. The dynamic of the main characters and it was really good the see the journey throughout the book.

I enjoyed the F1 bits and it was great to read about a woman breaking barriers. I do wish it was a bit more believable though because even the greatest of racers started somewhere.

Thank you NetGalley for this Arc.

This book was slow for me to get into but I really enjoyed the pacing, the depth of the characters and how the author wove the story together!

I wanted to like this book, especially after reading the blurb. However, I can barely make myself finish it. The writing is so bad, it made reading about Diana and Miguel painful. At least it's Dual POV, but honestly the romance as a whole left a lot to be desired.

Also, as a Spaniard, the Spanish/Spain rep was cringe-y and unnatural. I don't know how much the author researched for Miguel's character and family but it felt off to me the entire time.

This is a F1 story where a female racer enters the race and works along with the World Champion. I was really excited to read this book because I love F1 and really wanted to see a cute romance come out of it. I have to say that I was mostly disappointed with this book. I loved the racing aspect of this story and seeing the view of the FMC of how she’s treated in the field. It shows how F1 is shown as a male sport but she changed that and I loved that. The romance part of this story was lacking and I wish that was there as it would have been so much better. This story is written from both Diana and Miguel’s pov.

Diana is an Emirati who wants to get into F1 and she does. I loved seeing her not give up when the world wanted her. Her family were so caring and I loved that for her. Then we have Miguel who I have to say was such a confusing character. Throughout the entire story, I feel like I barely understood him. There were many side characters but none truly stuck out to me. The romance part of this book was lacking and felt very forced. I was excited for that side of the book but there was just no chemistry with the characters.

The ending was whatever as I stopped caring for the story and its character. As much as I enjoyed F1 and Diana, it didn’t help me hold onto the book.

*this e-arc was sent to me by the publisher to give an honest review in return*

dnf at 30%

I really tried to push my way through this book
especially since the f1 aspect is quite good. It shows that the author knows about f1. The way Diana got introduced to the drivers was really not needed and the two things that I really couldn’t look past is that one there is no way a rookie driver can be p3 for there first race. This really was to exaggerated and no way believable. The other thing Diana not wanting to overtake because the drivers are nice to her like what, that’s the whole point of racing. The writing really also made is hard to read, I ended up skimming through at least 15% of what I’ve read.

Thanks NetGalley and the publisher for this arc in exchange for an honest review.

Loved this fresh take on an F1 romance! This was my first read within this genre and I loved getting to learn more about a new sport through these two characters falling in love.

This was such a cute romancce filled with high stakes, drama, and cute banter. I loved the detail out in to the FIA and women in motorsport. I think that Diana's character gave some great insight into how women are regarded in this world and especially a women of color.
As a huge Formula 1 fan, I will be personally hand-selling this title as soon as possible and will talk anyone's ear off that will listen about it!

I loved the idea of this book, especially the female driver within the F1 world. Dual POV is also something I enjoy and this book contains it.

My only niggle is that, at times, it felt more sports centred than romance centered, almost like a contemporary with romance

LOVED THIS BOOK! i really didn't mind the dual-perspective, it gave off a drive to survive vibe which i loved. driving and racing scenes were well written and played out like an actual race, loved to see it. at points the romance felt forced, and i think it could have remained a subplot instead of being the main focus.

I was in need of a racer romance after reading throttled by Lauren Asher. This one was fantastic!
For any lover of rivals to lovers trope and if you have a hankering for F1 themed books this one was perfect!

I’m a huge fan of F1 so I was super excited to dive into a romance based on the sport.

However, I couldn’t get attached to the writing style in this book and I wish there was more character development between the two main characters. The romance didn’t seem to be the main focus of the book as it mostly focused on the sport and I wish that there was more of a focus on the relationship between Diana and Miguel. It also felt very insta-love which I’m not a huge fan of.

Overall I liked the sporting element of the book but I wished the characters and especially their relationship was more fleshed out.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an E-ARC of this book
